The Imgur Problem
Posted 2 weeks agoSoo... UK folks will know this, but Imgur is no longer usable in the UK. They do not operate here anymore.
My refs are on there, and sharing them with others is... not really possible now. I can in theory use a VPN to get them, I already have copies of all the characters seperately on PC. So nothing is lost. But sending imgur links is not really easily doable now, and if I'm sending them to someone who also can't use Imgur... well, we're back a square one, aren't we.
So, I'm trying to find a new place to host all my character refs now. Here is an option, but I wouldn't want to dump you all with so many refs all at once. I do have a Toyhou.se, but I don't know how easy it is to share Toyhou.se links with those that don't have accounts. Deviantart Sta.sh is looking like an alright option at least, could be one to consider.
I'm needing a place to store refs since Imgur isn't an option, do you have any suggestions? If so, fire them over to me. I'll be updating links accordingly in the future.

End of Summer Neko Update
Posted a month agoHeya, wanting to do a quick update post since its been a bit. I've been meaning to post on here more than I have, but general busyness in life been pushing me back from doing so, a lot of family gatherings this month and illness hampered things as well, but, stuff be coming.
First, Marble League, the league wrapped a bit, and our winning team was... The Kobalts! Newcomer Aru teamed and dominated the competition this year, she'll get her reward, whilst Ana, Lyca and Terri probably regret their team backings, punishments await for them.
Now last years Winter Olympics still doesn't have its picture, and apologise for that, haven't found an artist for the idea yet, so, I think instead of 3 seperate images, I'll be doing 1 image for Winters and 1 for summers, 4 characters each with a similar punishment for its losers. I'll try and find someone and get those up before years end, at least before Marble League 2026.
As for the upcoming months? Well, there's a few skunktember themed pictures coming soon, and then it's nightmare night season, I'm sure Gohst is going to be up for some tricks as usual for that month.
Thanks for the quick read, hoping to give you some more art soon!

If the site is still in read only on the 5th, I'll post my animation suggestions of last year so there will be at least something going up on my birthday. Seeya in a couple of days, we'll see what happens.

Adios 2024, hello 2025!
Posted 9 months agoAnother has passed by us, time for a some updates on happenings.
So I think I stated that 2024 was a year I wanted to go well, and... well, it was going well at the start at least. But somewhere towards the end of things, it spiralled out of control and things got pretty darn bad. I don't want to dwell on it too much, but mental health was not great in the later part of the year. So 2025 first goal for me is to try and improve on Mental Health. Theres somethings I know that are just putting pressure on me that I'm going to cut out and try something else instead. Number 1 person you need to look after is yourself after all.
There was some nice things right at the end, always good to see the family around Christmas, everyone doing well, got them into social deduction games so theres a group that plays that now in the December season, which is all fun and good, is it good to get extended family good about lying to each other? Ehh, we'll see in a few years or so. Also, I didn't make a gush post about it, but Okami's getting a sequel? My all time favourite game, getting a new followup? It's years off, but thats something in the very very far future to look forward to.
Marble League! Normally I would do posts on a 4 event basis on how things were going, Christmas was too busy to do that, but I did watch it all, and its good to see Iba with Team Momo truimph right in the end. Tsukai and Unbe may not be happy about their upcoming punishments for their teams losing, but its really funny I pulled the Osla Avatar for the month. Because oh boy, despite being the host team, Gliding Glaciers came dead last, and Osla now has to take a second year of punishments in a row now. And this time it will be the most embarrassing one to boot, she's going to be fuming. I'll try to get the images commissioned around it up sooner than previous year ones (Which is another thing I'm aiming to improve, being more punctual in general.)
Best Animation of the Year, I'm aiming for this writeup to be up on Saturday for ya, some real nice animated stuff came out this year that I want to highlight to ya, you may have seen some of it already, but for others it could be entirely brand new discovery for you! RIght afterwards is the Awesome Games Done Quick 2025 as well, so I'll do my regular shout out to that as well.
And Year of the Snake approaches so get ready for Lunar New Year characters, you'll still be seeing pics of the dragons, don't worry about that. Want to get some snake stuff going though, main one I have is Medusa Pony herself Sandira, she'll certainly be a star of the year. And maybe a few more serpentine characters will come.
Thats how things are going, want to wish you all a happy new year. Lets try and make it a good one!

Marble League 2024 Teams and Contestants
Posted 11 months agoIt's time for a Wintery version of the Marble League The Qualifiers have aired and we have our 16 teams once again for another year of Marble League. If you haven't seen the Qualifiers yet, this will contains spoilers so check it out first.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q9Z-VzIJkFg
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cQgehs1cpgg
Fourth year running, same rules as before, the Ponies that are backing the Losing 3 teams will be forced into Marble Related Punishments, with more and more humilations for how bad they did, with the winner picking a special punishment to humiliate the overall loser, I want to keep the Ponies and Teams consistent from the previous years, so with that said, here's the 16 ponies and their assigned teams.
Crazy Cat's Eyes - Ato (Reigning Champions)
Gliding Glaciers - Osla (Host Team)
Savage Speeders - Arro (2nd Place 2023)
Bumblebees - Umbe (3rd Place 2023)
Balls of Chaos - Lyca
Snowballs - Togue
Green Ducks - Ana
Hazers - Nine
Chocolatiers - Opal
Black Jacks - Don Kro'No
Team Momo - Iba
Raspberry Racers - Yuki
Solar Flares - Yuda
Jungle Jumpers - Malon
Team Galactic - Tsukai
Wolfpack - Luff
Makes sense the Winter Marble League has an icy team hosting it, and the Glading Glaciers make for good host with Osla, let's hope she does better than last year in the process, I'm sure that headset helped her cheering out. Alongside the hosts auto qualifying. so do the previous top 3, those are Unbe with the Bumblebees, Arro with the Savage Speeders, and reigning champion Ato with the Crazy Cats Eyes.
Big surprises in the qualifiers, some of the traditional strongest teams did not qualify, maybe the icy conditions proved to difficult for them. So it's a no show for Zor, Weroc, Tula, Aryll, Izel or Suan, even past champions, Chie with Mellow Yellow and C.T. with the Pinkies didn't make it. Yuki, Iba, Togue and Tsukai returned, celebrating the teams they usually, we have some past returnees, wAna for the Green Ducks, Opal for the Chocalatiers and Lyca for the Balls of Chaos who were last seen in 2022, and Nine is back with the Hazers after last seeing them in 2021.
We also have 4 newcomers as well. Yuda with the Solar Flares, Malon with the Jungle Jumpers, Don Kro'No with the Black Jacks, and Luff switch the Wolfpack.
If you've not seen the chart, it's right here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/58947233/
The competition starts next week, so grab something warm to watch! Don't be afraid to throw any fun marble/ball/sports related punishments suggestions in the comments, make them a bit wintery this time around!

Neko's Long Overdue Animation Recommendations of 2023!
Posted a year agoWell it might be later than even my previous expectations, but I got my list primed at last, so if you find yourself needing something to watch, here's a list of some of the best stuff I saw from last year, apologies it so late thie time around.
- This list is just Animation, both western and japanese varieties.
- Of those, the list will contain both films and TV Shows.
- Everything listed here has to have started in 2023, if it's a show continuing into it's second season in the past year, it won't be on the list, as always. But it might have been on a past one so you can backlog it.
- This is my own personal list and I haven’t watched everything this year. There's a lot I've missed out on at this point, and even though it's May now there's still more to watch that I didn't get around to (I heard good things about Scavenger's Reign! I'll try to get to that at some point.
As with last year, I give my list placements, a trailer for the show or film in question, and the way to watch it at the moment.
10. Suzume - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g0JMPkn7Wuo - It's the end of the world again with Makoto Shinkai once more, though we still get quite a pleasent road trip through Japan even with all the disasters, a great and weird cast with a fun mystery to solve on what is causing all these doors to appear, depending on your region Suzume might be Netflix, so go check it out there if it is.
9. My Adventures with Superman - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nI9uUv6AdoY - Some good Superman to enjoy, one thing I really like about this version is it's takes on Clark, Lois and Jimmy, forming a power trio that work great together. You have some spectucular fight animations here as well, the only downside I'd probably say is the villains are a bit lacking (Still some fun ones in there though, just not all of them hit the mark, hoping season 2 knocks it out of the park with all of them.) You might be able to find this on Adult Swim, and Season 2 is about to start real soon.
8. Nimona - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_fuHRyQbOc - The journey this film took to be developed is a film of itself, so it's great to see how well it turned out in the end. I don't think all the side characters work, espicially some of the humor, but the main cast is exceptional and the story is also really strong. One of the best final acts of the year, fun visuals and Nimona's shapeshifting leads to some great animated sequences. You can find Nimona on Netflix.
7. Scott Pilgrim: Takes Off - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dLvRvqByxUI - You ever get presented with something you weren't really expecting but still find it amazing when you get it? That's Scott Pilgrim: Takes Off in a nutshell. A great character dive into all the cast members of Scott Pilgrim with a lot of fun surprises along the way, some of the actors maybe better at acting than VA, but this is just one of the most fun and unique projects from last year, you can find Scott Pilgrim Takes Off on Netflix.
6. Blue Eye Samurai - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nJ1yQn17lbE - The most mature entry on my list. Blue Eye Samurai follows the journey of revenge Mizu goes through in Edo Japan. The animation makes it look like an water painting at times, with some of the best animated action year long, its wide varied cast you will love and despise as the show expects you to and the stories are some of the years most gripping. Looking forward to seeing more of Mizu's tale soon, you can find Blue Eye Samurai on Netflix.
5. Frieren: Beyond Journey's End - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iwr1aLEDpe4 - It's the anime of the year for a reason. Frieren follows the titular characters tale 1000 years after she's saved the world. She's seen it all and beyond, leading to one of the best new characters of the year. Gorgeously presented show with one of the most bespoke fantasy worlds built in the year. I don't want to spoil too much of this one as it's best you discover this yourself. You can find Friern: Beyond Journey's End on Crunchyroll.
4. Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cqGjhVJWtEg - There were some lofty heights set with Into the Spiderverse, and Across matches them, exceeds them in some areas. No other films look like these, with others trying to come close with their own renditions but still feel a few years behind. There's a staggering amount of Spiderman to enjoy in this for anyone that's a fan of the character or even newcomers, my only complaint is that it's a part 1 of a two part story and we are still waiting on Part 2. You can find Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse on DVD, Blu Ray and most streaming services to rent.
3. Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D0E4YkDwLzA - As fun as Spiderverse is, it wasn't my favourite Marvel property of the year, that goes to Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. Lunela Lafeyettes escapades in heroism are great fun with Devil also being a truly great chracter in his own regards, the highlights are always the musical sequences each episode has. If nothing else, do check a compilation of the music numbers this show has on youtube, otherwise you can check it all out on Disney+
2. The Boy and The Heron - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t5khm-VjEu4 - This might be Miyazaki's last film, this might not, it's still a masterpiece either way. One that will fill your mind with so many thoughts and theories on this world and tale Miyazaki has left us with. Trying to puzzle it out and build our own tower of thoughts. I think it's due for a home releaes soon, so keep your eyes out for that.
1. Puss In Boots: The Last Wish - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RqrXhwS33yc - Here's where staggered releases does, what was probably a lot of peoples favourite 2022 animated film lands on my 2023 list since it came out so late in the UK. Well, it's here anyway. There's not much that needs to be said that hasn't already been said for this film. It's Hilarious, it's cast of characters is exceptional, visually delightful, tackles some heavy subject matters exceptionally, it's an all timer. Go Buy it, rent it, watch it however you can if you haven't already, and if you have, do it again!
Well, that took longer to expect, already got some 2024 candidates ready to go, until the end of year for that list though at earliest. Still a few more birthday pictures to roll through, so hoping to post them up for you soon.
- This list is just Animation, both western and japanese varieties.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes!
Posted a year agoWanting to give thanks to anyone that's gone and wished me a happy birthday, it's been a great day so far. Actually been busier than I was expecting today so the best animated films list is going to have to wait for tomorrow, alongside some additional birthday related artworks I've got. Hope you've enjoyed what's been posted so far though. Keep looking out for more!
Leading up to Birthday once more.
Posted a year ago2 weeks and it'll be my birthday once more, so the cakesies are getting prepped up and ready once more for date. I'm trying to think what else I want to do for the occasion, and I've realised I didn't post up my best animated films of 2023 yet, so, now that I got to watch the last film from 2023 watched (Which did make the list), I can get the list primed and ready for the 5th next month. Hope you are all looking forward to them!
Happy Year of the Dragon!
Posted a year agoLunar New Year is starting, and this year it's the year of the Dragon, Sharp Claws, Shining Scales, Giant Horns and Probably a big fire breath. Although this time it's specifically the Wood Dragon according to the Five Elements for the Lunar New Year.
To celebrate, expect a couple of fun Lunar New Year related pictures over the next few days with some of these dragony friends. Just something a bit different from all those Valentines Day pictures I imagine you'll be seeing elsewhere, enjoy!

Marble League 2023 Results and Hearthswarming Celebration...
Posted 2 years agoThe Marble League just wrapped up it's final event. So it's time to discuss winners and "Losers" for the competition, if you haven't seen the final event, here is the link. After that, it's spoilers from here on out.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PpKnq31KkyA
The overall winners path could be described as a big U, very strong start, super weak middle, only to have a mighty end to come roaring from behind and take the crown, so congrats Ato, those years of backing the Crazy Cats Eyes has paid off at least, big commiserations to Unbe with the Bumblebees only one point behind, especially as it came down to the last lap of the last event to decide it all, but 2nd is still something to be proud of, Arro's fuming that Savage Speeders blew such a big lead with a disastrous final 2 events, better luck next time, especially as you auto qualify for 2024 next year, but there's another 3 that's more important.
From Top 3 last year to Bottom 3 this year, it was not a good run for Suan and the Shining Swarm, it looked like it was going to be Tula and Thunderbolts almost certainly, but they pulled themselves out of danger at the last second. Osla with the Gliding Glaciers better start practicing for next year, especially as they are hosting it, but for now, you need to suffer the consequences of a bad performance, at least your one point saves you from the worst humiliation, Aryll joining in with Plasma, and it was not the right call at all, dead last, be worried about whatever Ato is going to plan to do with you for the punishment.
So that was Marble League 2023, hopefully the arts won't take as long to get here next year, so look forward to them.
---
And once more we are in the countdown to Hearthswarming Eve, always a fun time of year. Time to recap and refresh, I still have plans to create the best animations of the year list for me, but I'm not going to be doing a giveaway this time, last years was a bit of a fisaco, and this years birthday giveaway was more disastrous, add that general life has been... more stressful than usual this Christmas, sorting it all out is just something I'm not up to this time, sorry for those expecting it. Do expect a whole bunch of hearthswarming art as well as some complementary Christmas stuff to, one piece should be going up later today so look forward to that.
I hope your holiday shopping is smooth and you get to be with your loved ones at this time of year. It's certainly a stressful time more than usual (Espicially for those that were using Patreon, hope everyone using that has been able to recover and find their feet) but we've all got each other to look out for one and all of us, and do that we shall.

Marble League 2023 Teams and Contestants
Posted 2 years agoThe Qualifiers have aired and we have our 16 teams once again for another year of Marble League. If you haven't seen the Qualifiers yet, this will contains spoilers so check it out first.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0zK4Qi3U6f4
This year is the third year we are doing this now, remember, the Ponies that are backing the Losing 3 times will be forced into Marble Related Punishments, with more and more humilations, but the winner get's a prize, bragging rights and get's to humiliate the overall loser so it's all worth competing for, I want to keep the Ponies and Teams consistent from the previous years, so with that said, here's the 16 ponies and their assigned teams.
Rojo Rollers - Zor
Midnight Wisps - Weroc
Savage Speeders - Arro
Thunderbolts - Tula
Raspberry Racers - Yuki
Team Plasma - Aryll
Mellow Yellow - Chie
O'Rangers - Izel
Team Momo - Iba
Crazy Cat's Eyes - Ato
Gliding Glaciers - Osla
Snowballs - Togue
Bumblebees - Unbe (Hosts)
Team Galactic - Tsukai (Third Place 2022)
Shining Swarm - Suan (Second Place 2022)
Pinkies - C.T. (Reigning Champ 2022)
The Bumblebees are hosting this year which Unbe backs, so they auto-qualified. Likewise last years champion of The Pinkies have returned to defend their crown, with C.T. rooting for them to do so, Second and Third Placements of Shining Swarm and Team Galactic auto-qualified to, which means Suan and Tsukai are chasing after that prize as well.
Arro, Yuki, Chie, Izel, Ato and Osla return once more with their teams, interestingly so is Weroc, despite being one of the losers of last year, Weroc best hope the Midnight Wisps perform better this year. Lyca and Opal did not return as their teams didn't qualify, so maybe they can breathe a sigh of relief with no embarrassment to worry about, Anna, Voire and Aria also did not join in with their teams not making it through qualification. But we do have some 2021 competitors back, Tula, Iba and Zor are here for another round (Zor hoping the Rojo Rollers don't come dead last again.)
And we have two new competitors with Team Plasma and The Snowballs. Aryll has taken up backing Team Plasma, whilst Togue will be backing the Snowball.
There's a chart to show all these pairings here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/54038643
The competition starts next week, so let the games begin! Don't be afraid to throw any fun marble/ball/sports related punishments suggestions in the comments!

State of Neko Update
Posted 2 years agoHeya hey, been a real long time since I've done a journal, feel like I should do another one as we are entering SPOOPY Month, got a bunch of Halloween/Nightmare Night images coming to you over the month so look forward to them.
Also, Marble League 2023 is coming this month as well, so I'll be posting up the pictures of the losers of the last Marble League and the humiliating situations they are being thrown into, sorry it's taken so long on this one. But It'll be up shortly.
It's been a weird year, not bad for me personally, just a quiet, not a lot happening one, I suppose I'm trying to take it easier this year due to events of last year, so maybe that's the case why it's been a little weird. Gotta work a bit of work/play lifestyle as the ratios have been a bit off and I'm finding myself tireder than usual.
The last stretch of the year does tend to be my favourite though so hope that helps out with general mood. Gotta try and get any end of years goals in this last stretch as well.
One such thing is trying to figure out how to make a Tinkaton pony well, she's been the standout of Gen 9 for me, though I've been puzzled how to translates her well to a pony, hopefully before years end I will be able to perfect her well.
That's all for now, look forward to the spoops!

Birthday Giveaway Results
Posted 2 years agoHeya all. Closing up the birthday giveaway, there wasn't that many entrants to the competition, (I think the FA Rule changes has got most people to move) but we did get some entrants, a grand of two that is, so congrats to
Silly-Bunny and
FoxInTheAntHill I'll give you joint winners position for entering, and I'll be in touch soon with you to talk prizes.
We're still in some uncertain times on what's going to happen, by accounts a big ban wave might happen with little explanation. I'll still post, but remember the links I've given if you want to find me elsewhere. Thanks for watching, and hopefully we can keep this moving forward.

Game giveaway slight extension, and a brief talk.
Posted 2 years agoHeya, so it's been a month now since the rule changes, and about 5 days since galleries have required to be cleaned. Mines not been affected at all, I've had no notices or anything, so I think my stuff is good? I'm being a bit careful still with what to post, but it looks like it might still be ok to post here. So I will continue to do so, I've been trial running some Inkbunny postings as well, they've been doing ok so I'll try to dual post between the two places. Twitter... well Twitter's on fire, so that might not be the best place at the moment, it's sorta waiting to see which of Twitter, Threads or BlueSky is going to end up on top with that at the moment. I added a Weasyl account now, I'll try to post there to, we'll see how it goes.
Sorta been a bit overwhelmed with life a bit in general over the last month, trying to get things done and sorted on time, I think the added heat of summer has not helped to this. I have all the plans laid out but never the time (Or maybe more specifically the focus) to get them though, I will try though, so thanks for keeping up in the process.
Speaking off, the gift giveaway has sorta not been going great because of all the FA weirdness, I'm extending it one last time till saturday then declaring winners at that point. Remember to post your answers here for that.
https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/10542180/
Thanks for all your readings, I'll speak to you all again hopefully on Saturday.

The where else to find me Journal just in case.
Posted 2 years agoSo you've probably seen a number of these journals popping up recently with the upcoming policy changes. As someone with a whole lot of Pokemon and Digimon inspired pony related characters, they do affect me in a way. With my artwork I tend to avoid sexual scenarios with my characters, I tend to commission stuff that falls into either cute related art or embarassment related art. I've not had any reports in the past at all on this nor any warnings at all. There is stuff that I wonder about, some of the age regression pictures for example, how that even falls under the new rules. I've even had to think about the Gingerbread Pony comic which by all accounts should just be a cute work, but I honestly don't know with the new rule guidelines. It's a vary broad and controversial update which is why you've been seeing all these journals about it.
So, what's happening then? At the moment I'm still planning to continue posting to FA at the current time, it will be a mixture of both original character stuff and pokeponies and digiponies still. I've created a backup of every artwork locally on my device, so should this account gets banned, I will post all the gallery to another website, current plan is thinking Inkbunny for this, but If a better alternative is suggested I may go for that.
I've added a bunch of links to my mian page showing where else I am, I will say though that at present the only places I'm mainly active on is discord, everything is more for setting up commissions.
Deviantart: https://www.deviantart.com/nekonekodiamata
Inkbunny: https://inkbunny.net/NekoNekoDiamata
Twitter: https://twitter.com/NDiamata
Discord: NekoNekoDiamata#4287
Toyhouse: https://toyhou.se/NekoNekoDiamata
We shall see what happens over the upcoming weeks. I'm hoping to stay here and continue to give my regular array of cutesy embarassing art. But it would be foolish not to have precautions made in advance. It's awkward too as a I was planning to do a 10 years on FA celebration right around when the policies are going to kick in so does 10 years might also be the last years? We shall see what happens. I advice you take similar precautions as well just in case.

Birthdays and Birthday, let us celebrate!
Posted 2 years agoOnce again 5th of May meaning it's been yet another year on this world. And instead of reflecting on how this last year went, let us instead go further back than that. Because there's something extra this year, an anniversary of sorts. That's right. 10 years on FA is due this year in July, so I want to do some buildup towards that as well.

As for now, enjoy a wealth of upcoming birthday themed pictures, we've got a lot of Cake Onesies coming. After that, I'm hoping to have the Marble League images coming you way soon as well, the last one has been finished up and it'll be good to get them up before this years contest begins. There's also a secret reveal coming up in July, bringing back an extremely old character of mine from before FA, there has been an image of them before so you might be able to figure it out early (If you don't already know from DIscord that is.)
So again, thanks for all the birthday wishes, if you want to take part in the competition, feel free to do so, and enjoy the art to come.
