One more week to the birthday
General | Posted 2 years agoIt's that time again, 5th of May nears and I'll be hitting up yet another year. So get ready for the birthday cake pictures, they'll be starting next friday. As also mentioned, I'll be doing a 10 years on FA celebration in June as well this year, that's not going to specifically be cake related though, you'll need to wait and see for that one.
I'm trying to think about how to handle my giveaways though, I've been finding in recent giveaways not only has the number of participants been rather small, but I've been having some rather rude entrants as well, not reading the rules of the competition fully. I need to think on it a bit more about how to handle things with the upcoming birthday, even if it's worth hosting one or not at this point.
You'll get a heads up next friday on the big day itself. Just a bit longer now. And the festivities shall commence!

Alright how about something a bit less silly
General | Posted 2 years agoHope you enjoyed April Fools, Depending on where you are in the world there maybe a few hours left so if you have them, make the most of them, I advice checking out The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog, an real Visual Novel game that got released on Steam for Free. It's a funny well written sonic story that's worth your time, and would make for a great way to close out April Fools.
So, Easter is coming up and you've probably met Tess already, she'll be hosting the holiday festivities around April Fools and Easter so look forward to a couple of Eastery/Fooly images over the upcoming week.
May is coming up shortly after which means it'll be my brithday once again on 5th of May, we'll be breaking out the Cake Onesies for the occasion. So look forward to them.
Oh, and one more special thing coming in June, it'll be my 10th year on FA! My how the years go by, there's going to be some artwork relating to that as well, including the revival of an old character of mine long before I even arrived at FA if all goes well.
Wishing you all the most Scrumdopulous of days once more! And time to bring in a nice Spring Breeze for Spring.

Some Restructuring to do around here on this important da...
General | Posted 2 years agoGood Morning one and all on this momentous of all days, do not look at what day it is, it is not relevant for what is going to be conveyed in this post. I have some important announcements to make.
From now on, due to changes in the lunar cycle. There will no longer be anymore My Little Pony related pony artwork posted to this channel. They will instead be Filly Funtasia related ponies instead.
Inspirations and blatant stealing of designs from Pokemon and Digimon will now become Inspirations and blatant stealings from Medabots and Bakugan instead.
Original Characters will remain. But they now will all be considered fan characters from the hit 1993 movie, We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story.
Related to this, My username will be changing from NekoNekoDiamata, to RawrRawrTinyArmamata as well.
All of these changes will take place from this point onwards, and will be reverted immediately back the next time someone writes down the word "Scrumdopulous" in a Journal.
Once again I ask of you that you do not look at date for it is not relevant at all that has anything announced in this journal.
Thank you, and I wish you the most Scrumdopulous of days.

Neko's Animation Recommendations of 2022!
General | Posted 3 years agoAnother year, another set of animations I've watched and what I recommend you hunt down and check out.
- This list is just Animation, both western and japanese varieties.
- Of those, the list will contain both films and TV Shows.
- Everything listed here has to have started in 2022, if it's a show continuing into it's second season this year like Inside Job (Which I didn't see in 2021, but now having seen it and it's second season, I will include as an Honourable Mention), it won't be on the list this year, as always. I want to put the spotlight on the new that 2022 brought us.
- This is my own personal list and I haven’t watched everything this year. There's a lot I've missed out on at this point, or am still waiting on to actually get a UK release (Why is Puss in Boots a next year release when everyone else is watching it now?) so don't consider this list final!
As with last year, I give my list placements, a trailer for the show or film in question, and the way to watch it at the moment.
10. Baymax! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7xidOWnzSu4
Kicking things off is probably the shortest show on the list here, it's just 6 5 minute shorts, but they are all delightfully charming shorts to watch. Baymax, the main standout character of Big Hero 6 just goes about helping those in need. It's a cute and simple short just seeing Baymax help out those in need. Whether they think they need the help or not. You can find Baymax! on Disney+
9. Sonic Prime https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cfbVUOyVeY0
Sonic's had a pretty good history with TV shows in the past, with most of them ranging from decent to great and hilarious. Plus there's Sonic Underground there as well (Okay, I sorta like Sonic Underground, but it's the cheesiest of the lot). Sonic Prime continues the trend of good Sonic shows. This one has the fun with multiverses, showcasing the sonic cast in different scenarios, like the world where Eggman was successful or one where everyone is pirates. The alternate world versions of these Sonic Characters like Nine and Rusty Rose are quite fun. The series is going to be split in multiple parts so expect more to come in 2023, but the initial set of episodes show a lot of promise. You can find Sonic Prime on Netflix (Not Amazon Prime Video)
8. Wendell and Wild https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNUZsLfAMqk
2022 been a pretty good year for Stop Motion animation. Shout outs to The House which didn't make The Top 10 but was a fun animated trilogy of horrors set in the same house. But if you want something horror like, Henry Selick's latest Stop Motion feature Wendell and Wild has the crown. A cream that can bring the dead back to life causes a lot of chaos, espicially when the titular two demons try to make a business out of it, but Kat is the standout character here and her punk attitude as she tries to confront the past (and present) demons that haunt her. You can find Wendell and Wild on Netflix.
7. Dead End: Paranormal Park https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NwaQcSQi6gs
Have to give a shout out to Inflatable Pretztail for recommending me this one. Adapted from the Graphic Novel DeadEndia this show follows the tales of Barney, Norma and Pugsley, Barney's Dog who get's possessed by the demon by the end of the first episode, as they try to run Phoenix Park as new recruits. Whilst also trying to discover all the weird mysteries and hauntings the parks has. Do not be surprised if a Zombie apocalypse happens, it's a common occurence. The show has a wildly colourful and fun cast of characters and stands out with how creative it is, there's even a Muscial Episode thrown in for good measures. You can find Dead End: Paranormal Park on Netflix.
6. Guillermo Del Toro's Pinocchio https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Od2NW1sfRdA
I don't know why there's been three different tellings of Pinnochio in this one year alone. Disney did a live action remake this year (It was bad), Pauly Shore was the lead in one (It's bad, but memorably so bad it's good bad.) The standout has to be Del Toro's take on Pinocchio. Del Toro does not shy away from the stories original dark beats. Death is very much a key theme to this film as well as what it means to be alive. Add that we've got War Occupied Italy with Mussolini is a key figure as well, it does raise questions of who really is the puppet and who is pulling the strings. Charmingly dark and weird this one. You can find Guillermo Del Toro's Pinocchio on Netflix
5. My Father's Dragon https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0giW36Fb69c
Cartoon Saloon releases another great 2D animated film. Pretend to be shocked. I don't love this one as much as I did Wolfwalkers, but I still give it high regards. Adapting the book of the same name, this tells the tale of Elmer as he travels to Wild Island, meeting all sorts of weird creatures on the island, and forming a friendship with a dragon known as Boris. It's skews younger than Cartoon Saloon's previous works. But it's still a visual spectacle to enjoy. You can find My Father's Dragon on Netflix
4. The Legend of Vox Machina https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JvwxQSc-3os
Right from the beginning of the year, this was a pleasant surprise. A kickstarter show that pays off, always like to see it. If you've seen Critical Role, this should be familiar to you as The Legend of Vox Machina is an animated adaptation of Campaign One. It takes a little bit to find it's feet, but around episode 3 it finds it's footing and is a great Dungeons and Dragons themed romp with a memorable cast with great storylines and some tremendous animation. If you want something more adult to bite into, this is my recommendation of the year. You can find The Legend of Vox Machina on Amazon Prime Video.
3. Turning Red https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XdKzUbAiswE
You can tell you are getting old when animated films are referencing the stuff you grew up with now. From the director of the Bao short which you remember playing ahead of Incredibles 2. Turning Red is a fun, cute and hilarious Coming of Age Story. I get Sailor Moon vibes from this show with Mei Lee and her group of friends. Plus you've got great big red panda scenarios and even a giant Kaiju fight at the end of the film. You can find Turning Red on Disney Plus
2. The Bad Guys https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zpDuBXB_glk
Dang Dreamworks, your animation has always been good, but in recent years you've been picking some less interesting projects to turn into films, alongside a fair number of sequels. Thankfully you picked a great IP here. The Bad Guys aims to do to Heist Films what Kung Fu Panda did to Kung Fu films and I say they nailed it. Visually striking with it's great cast and smooth actions, Bad Guys has one of the most memorable casts of the year and some of the best animated action all year. The 2D/3D hybrid approach is one I hope to see continue in the industry as Puss in Boots: The Last Wish seems to continue, looking forward to see more of what Dreamworks has to come. You can find The Bad Guys... erm, not sure which streaming service it's on at the moment. Well, you can pick it up on Blu Ray or DVD, and I recommend you do.
1. Spy X Family https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ofXigq9aIpo
Only one anime made my top ten this year. Ah well, it made the Number 1 spot so congratulations anime. Spy X Family is the tale of what happens when a Spy, an Assassin and a Telepath has to live together as a happy family without giving up their secret identities. Turns out it's a very heartwarming family tale. Often hilarious and visually delightful. You've probably already seen Anya's facial expression already no doubt. You can find Spy X Family over on Crunchyroll.
And that's it for the year. I'm certain there's more that I've missed out on, Cyberpunk Edgerunners is one I've seen constantly mentioned a lot, Chainsaw Man is something I've been meaning to get around too now that it's finished up it's run. And as said Puss in Boots probably would have made the list based on the impressions I'm hearing, if only it came out in the UK.
Don't forget about the Gift Giveaway, it's probably going to be extended a week but don't be too late in responding. You can go here to check it out: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/10419301/

Happy Holidays! Here Comes the Gift Giveaway!
General | Posted 3 years agoJust a few hours to go until Christmas Now, and whilst I have been behind on this, I still want to get this christmas giveaway up and runnimg, so let us run the details
Every year I've been doing these humble bundle steam key giveaways, This year on offer we have the following games...
Armello
Celeste
Hollow Knight
Monster Hunter World
Resident Evil 4
Yakuza Kiwami
Now, as Christmas is the time for giving, you won't be winning these keys for yourself, you will be winning them for a friend, (a present from you to them, with me being your gift giving reindeer). You can win one of these wonderful gifts. But how? Here's how..
For this year, I've been going about expanding my collection of none pony characters (Don't worry Pony Fans, there will be more ponies in due time, Scarlet and Violet has given a good bit of inspiration, as well as Ghost Game continuing to give fresh ideas.) But if you've been following me in the past, you know that names aren't exactly my strongest point. A lot of past character names for the poke and digi ponies tnd to be shortened versions of the regular characters name.
So, it's a naming competition, I've got some fairly new, not fully fleshed out characters here today (Seriously, some of them are so new they haven't got full colour schemes yet.) I want your help obeserving the characters and bringing to life this holiday season with some fun fitting names.
"But Neko, haven't you done a naming contest before?"
Right you are random commentator! But as said, personalities are looking to be fleshed out too. So since it is the christmas season. Imagine it's christmas, these characters are about to open up a gift from you! What gift would have gotten them? Why did you get it for them? And what do you think their response will be? I'll provide a brief bio for the character (Or characters in some instances) and I want you to write up what gift you will give them.
Here are the 6 groups, feel free to give a gift to one of them, or all of them if you wish.
1. First is a pair of fruity bats, a mother and daughter figure, you may have seen them around recently. The mother is trying her best to get her daughter to smile. Her daughter always seems to be stuck on her phone though, what gift would help this mother and daughter combo? https://imgur.com/a/Rl8EoYo
2. Next is another fruity fellow, this Lime Slug may take life at a slow pace. But she savors all the small things, even if her eyes don't show it, what gift would best suit her? https://imgur.com/a/PpCToVL
3. Next up is a named character, the dreaded Queen Titania, She gets too many gifts but she still wants another. The one to keep an eye on is this mysterious Jerboa, an elegant dancer and one of the Queens highest in command. What would she want, and what would she want with that Music Box? https://imgur.com/a/lteIdmZ
4. Coming up next is a rather rough and tough deliquent little bee. He punches above his own weight and wants to make a scene, though it has a tendency to backfire rather embarassingly for him. What gift will make this Bee Stand Out? https://imgur.com/a/AoRgvK1
5. Almost done, we have a mecha scorpion girl next, she tends to get very excited, and her high powered extendable and retractable claws and pincers let her bound all around the place. Think of a gift for her quick before a big hug is the gift she gives you. https://imgur.com/a/OxXfGIJ
6. Lastly we have... a giftgiver themselves? Not quite, this Reindeer was an Ornament that has come to life through the power of the holidays, She's curious about the wonders of the season. But ready to learn. What gift would a Reindeer want most? https://imgur.com/a/fiOsNWE
So, in recap, Pick 1 of 6 character groups. Come up with names for the character based on looks and their short bio, give them a gift, explain why that gift and predict how they would respond. The best responses will be winning the prizes so do your best! You can have up to 6 entries with each group, but know that you can only win a prize once (Gotta spread the gifts around, right?)
Any further questions feel free to ask, otherwise we are almost there now! It's been a near impossible year for me, but all your support, views and comments, no matter how big or small have done wonders. So I wish you the greatest holiday season possible, and have a fantastic new year!
EDIT: I'm extending the competition by one week, so you got a bit longer to get some entries in, go go go!

The Holiday Schedule! And the Marble League Results
General | Posted 3 years agoAlrighty, it's been a couple of busy weeks. So, what are the holiday plans?
In the end, I think I will be doing another Festive Steam Gift Giveaway, there will be a seperate journal going up tomorrow, and the competition will run until the 31st (New Year's Eve). So if you want your chance to win some Humble Bundle Steam Codes, get ready for that tomorrow.
EDIT: This is going up on the 24th now, still running till new years eve though!
I'll be away with the family for most of the weekend, so there may not be art on the 24th/25th/26th depending on what the internet is like there, if it's good, you'll see it. If not, they'll be posted on the 27th as catch up.
Sometime next week between the 28th and 30th I'll be posting the years best animation list that I've been making a habbit of releasing yearly. Going to try and watch a few extra things during the christmas break to see if they can make the list or not.
And then we'll be in 2023. And another Awesome Games Done Quick as well, huzzah indeed.
====================
Now Marble League has just wrapped up, and for those that have been following. You should already know the results. If not, I'll give you a chance to leave now...
...
Ok, all clear then, Congratulations to The Pinkies for taking the crown this year. It was a close race but a strong finish in the Elimination secured the win. And C.T. will get to take the Crown alongside them for backing the team. Commiserations to Suan and Tsukai with Shining Swarm and Team Galatic getting close, but not close enough. They at least get a garunteed position for next years competition, alongside Unbe with the Bumblebees as they will be hosting new years event.
But whilst one newcomer had it good, the same cannot be said to Lyca and Weroc. Espicially Lyca, backing the Balls of Chaos which set a record setting lost points ever for a Marble League. Her punishment will not be nice, and Weroc's not that much better either. I also hope Opal wasn't laughing too hard at Terri's Punishment last year, as now the Chocolatiers, her team, finished in the bottom 3 as well. I'll be commissioning some art for these soon, and you can expect them to show up here maybe in January.
Ok, that's all for now. See you tomorrow for the Giveaway Competition!

Hearthswarming has returned once mor... MAW, NOT AGAIN
General | Posted 3 years agoTalcum Powder is not Snow Maw! She does this every year, I tell her every year, she still get's it everywhere. I think she just does it to mess with me.
I want that to be the only recurring running thing that happens in this end of year look back journals I write up. But over the past few years there's been a trend for me to say "Oh this year has been sorta miserable, what a bad year it's been." And I don't want that to be happening every year, but... um... well, I think I get a buy this year to say that?
For those that got in touch earlier this year and gave moral support when I needed it the most, I thank you all once again. It's not been easy, I imagine it's going to continue to not easy. I'll try to take things day by day though, help out with everyone else in the family as well that's struggling as well. Any continued moral help will be appreciated over the next months still.
So what about this month then, well expect holiday themed pictures throughout the month as usual. I want to see if I can do another top 10 animated shows/movies of this year, might be a bit trickier this year than previously, but we shall see. And the holiday giveaway... I'm still thinking about this one to be honest. Last years went rather disastrously bad with no one entering in. I'm not sure it was because the challenges were too hard or the prizes not entertaining enough or if maybe it wasn't advertised enough, I dunno. I'm still thinking on this, so we shall see about it. I'll get back soon if we are doing a giveaway or not later this month.
Thanks for reading as always, and I hope you have a great holiday season!

The Marble League has returned once more
General | Posted 3 years agoA bit later than last year, but the Marble League has returned, and because I had fun with last years Marble League, getting the losers some embarassing marble like punishments for placing poorly, we shall be doing it once more!
I was actually a little late in posting this, I thought they would be starting on the weekend, but nope, went up on wednesday, you can see the opening ceremony right here.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q7d1ZklvseQ
I decided to keep any pony that competed last year with the same teams this year. Including last years champion of Chie. With how the marble league works, The Top 3 teams of last year and the hosts auto-qualify for the competition. The remaining teams have to qualify to enter. So we don't have the exact same line-up as last year, we have 6 newcomers instead. The full team lineup this year is as follows.
Mellow Yellow = Chie (Reigning Champions)
Raspberry Racers = Yuki (Second Place)
Gliding Glaciers = Osla (Third Place)
Green Ducks = Ana (Hosts)
Chocolatiers = Opal
Team Primary = Aria (Newcomer)
Shining Swarm = Suan
O'rangers = Izel
Crazy Cat's Eyes = Ato
Balls of Chaos = Lyca (Newcomer)
Midnight Wisps = Weroc (Newcomer)
Pinkies = C.T. (Newcomer)
Savage Speeders = Arro
Bumblebees = Unbe (Newcomer)
Team Galactic = Tsukai (Newcomer)
Minty Maniacs = Voire
So Tula, Eri, Nine, Zor, Terri and Iba will no participate this time around. And Tsukai, Lyca, Weroc, C.T., Unbe and Aria will be taking their place. If you are missing out on someone, don't worry, they'll have another shot next year (Although I'm sure Zor and Terri don't mind missing out this time considering their punishments last time)
If you want a full visual chart, just click here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/49660113/
Like last year, I'm looking for suggestions on how to punish the losers. So if you have any fun marble/ball/sports related punishments, through them in the suggestions. I'll be looking over last years journals and posts as well. Then when the league is done, the fun shall begin. Until then, hope you enjoy the Marble League once more.

Thanks to everyone who's given messages of support
General | Posted 3 years agoJust wanted to post an update and thank everyone who has taken time to chat with me other past week... it's been a rough one, I'll be honest. Probably will be for awhile still adjusting and all. But for anyone who's reached out to speak for a while or even a little bit, I appreciate all the help you've given during these times.
There should be some Nightmare Night like pictures coming out in october, but expect them near the end of the month and not spread all over the month. And probably not as many pics as previous years either. I hope you look forward to them.

Not the news you want to hear.
General | Posted 3 years agoYou have plans you want to do, but then suddenly massive happens and your whole life just changes entirely. It's bad when it happens once, when it happens twice though, you still can't believe it.
I'm sorry for the generally quiet year it's been on my end, it's been a hectic and challenging one so far, I was hoping to get some art uploaded with the halloween season fast approaching, but... Well, It's tricky to talk about exactly what happened, and it's not something I want to disclose in the public, but I could do with some emotional support about what happened, so if you want to help, send a DM or message me on discord. Still trying to process it all, it's not nice.
I probably post somethings related to Halloween next month, but it's most likely going to be a lot smaller due to these recent events.

Birthday Giveaway Results!
General | Posted 3 years agoHeya, here to post the results of the birthday game giveaway, and our top placers are...
1.
fenken
2.
OneWithLogic
3.
Foxintheanthill
...Hmm, only 3 entries? Well, better than the Christmas Giveaway at least. For you three, I will get in touch soon about how the rewards will be done, so keep your eyes peeled on your inboxes soon.
I was hoping to post a few more Birthday pic pieces in the period, but I'm still waiting on a few to come, no need to rush the artists, they can take however long they need for the best quality, and I hope to share it soon.
As a followup the birthday went well, got a nice bunch of Gifts including some Steam Funds that I've used to dive into some Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe as well as pick up Monster Hunter Stories 2 as well. Played through most of Stanley Parable so far which is a blast that I won't spoil for you, and looking forward to getting into Monster Hunter Stories 2 soon.
Thanks for everyone who's been following my art and leaving comments, I hope to give some more fun, cute and weird arts to look forward for this next year as well. Onwards to the 10th anniversary!

It's birthday time! Let's do a Steam Gift Giveaway!
General | Posted 3 years agoMy how the time seems to just fly by every year faster and faster, it's may already, and my birthday once more? Slow down 2022, you don't have to go by all so quickly.
You've been noticing going up all week, and there is more to come, but as it's my birthday, I'm going to do another gift giveaway once more. And hopefully this one goes a lot better than the last one did at christmas, didn't go well at all.
The games I have on offer to give are as follows. You can potentially win one of these
Skullgirls 2nd Encore
Spyro Reignited Trilogy
Slay the Spire
Superhot
Sonic Mania
Now, you may have noticed a theme with these, they all begin with the letter S.
And that's exactly the theme for how you can win your prize. All I ask is that you leave a shout on my page with exactly NINE S's in them. Why Nine? Well, it's my ninth year on FA, and next year will be the big decade, so let us celebrate Nine for now.
You can make the shout however long you wish (Well, in reason) just make sure there is exactly Nine uses of the letter S. Not Eight, Not Ten, and Certainly not Eleven. Just Nine Please. You have Nine Days to type your shout, and after that period, I will get
in contact with my five favourite shouts. Favourite getting first pick, second favourite getting second pick, and so on and so forth.
So, get your shouts ready and post them, and enjoy various arts uploaded soon, I've got new characters to post up and a couple of cakes to post up as well.

Neko Update
General | Posted 3 years agoHeya, so it's been a bit since I've made a post, life keeps you busy at times, and recently we had some COVID outbreaks at home, thankfully I dodged it, but I had to avoid everyone else at home as best as possible WHILST also keeping up with everything needing to be done with the house as well, add that to busy work schedules and it's tired me out somewhat. Thankfully, everyones recovered at the moment, and hopefully I don't catch it myself.
I do feel I have a bit of a idea brain rot at the moment, trying of fun unique ideas and struggling somewhat to do so. With all the characters I have (And it's a lot, I've been meaning to post some of the additional characters I've got on here and haven't done so you) you think it would be easy to come up with fun scenarios... But at times it's a struggle to think of something with a unique spin from what I've got in the past. Sure, I could commission every one of my characters in a jestery outfit if I so wish, but I sorta want a fun weird activity to go with them.
I also have a fair backlog of patreon commission pieces that I should upload here, if only in case of hardware failure on my end. Though I do worry about drowning your update feed with pictures all at once...
I think I just need to organise myself a bit better in general. The last 2 months have been chaotic, but maybe they've been chaotic because I've not had a great plan? If i plan out what to do, maybe I can keep things up better. I'll have to think on that myself.
My birthday is coming up next month, and I do plan to do another giveaway, HOPEFULLY it goes better than the holidays one last year as that didn't go super well... I think I'll replan accordingly on this.
Oh yeah, Gen 9 got announced, for the curious at the moment, I'm with Sprigatito, but I will probably finalise when I see starter final forms. I do feel more confident with this lot than I did with the Gen 8 starters at least (Starters which I have grown a bit annoyed with for how dominant they are in VGC as well.) And Digimon Ghost Game continues to be a fun series and source of inspiration, I've been meaning to post a certain 'Jelly soon, maybe you'll spot her around my birthday.
Well, that's all for now. Here's to April, hope you weren't fooled too much, stay safe and best wishes!

Neko's Animation Recommedations of 2021! (Plus Gift Givin...
General | Posted 4 years agoSo 2021 has come to a close and we are in 2022 now, what better way to start than catch up on all those shows you didn't watch last year before the new ones come out, as before, here is my rules on forming this list.
- This list is just Animation, both western and japanese varieties.
- Of those, the list will contain both films and TV Shows.
- Everything listed here has to have started in 2021, if it's a show continuing into it's second season this year like The Owl House (A personal fav of 2021), it won't be on the list this year, as always. I want to put the spotlight on the new that 2021 brought us.
- This is my own personal list and I haven’t watched everything this year. I haven't been able to watch everything and not everything is too my taste. Having since written this list, I saw Encanto and that was pretty darn great, consider it an honourable mention.
As with last year, I give my list placements, a trailer for the show or film in question, and the way to watch it at the moment.
Ok, so here we go.
10. Robin Robin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Khyk6VEvJ18
This short came out right before this list was written up, and you can still argue with watching this just in time for christmas, I mean, you still have your christmas decorations, right? By Aardman (You probably know them from Wallace and Grommitt) comes this adorably cute stop motion film done in felt about a robin who think she's a mouse. It's a musicale as well! Give this a watch before the holiday is over! You can watch Robin Robin on Netflix.
9. The Ghost and Molly McGee https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nlemRanx-cQ
Another very recent entry to list, Alongside Amphibia and The Owl House having great seasons as well, Ghost and Molly McGee is off to a very promising start, with all the cast being likeable (Libby being a personal fav), the songs are all catchy and grand, had the whole first season airead, it might be higher, but keep your eye on this going forward. You can watch The Ghost and Molly McGee on Disney Plus.
8. So I'm a Spider, So What? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UZE4ZZiXBQY
It's an Isekai anime with two halves, whilst the human half is a little on the plain end, the highlight has to by our spider, starting as the lowest of lows, enjoy as she uses all of her gaming knowledge to power level up to some serious game breaking stuff. Also the ending themes go in hard. You can watch So I'm a Spider, So What? on Crunchyroll.
7. Shadows House https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t7lGIJGAMm0
Welcome to shadows house, it's residents, the shadow masters, all have a living doll that works for them. We follow one pairing of Kate and Emilico as they got along, meet other members of the house and stumble into it's many dark and weird secrets. For as daunting the initial setting is, the show is surprisngly upbeat due to how cheery emilico is, it's ending suffers a little since it was written like they were only going to have one series, but the second series has been announced, so I recommend you hop aboard the train now, choo choo! You can watch Shadows House on Funimation
6. Luca https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYfJxlgR2jw
Raya didn't quite make the top 10 (It's more of a top 15) but Luca certainly did, a slice of life style story of Luca and Alberto trying to blend in with the human world on land, the ghibli comparison is thrown a lot and the film does elicit a similar chill vibe. You can watch Luca on Disney Plus
5. My Little Pony: A New Generation https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pa_PRDVpjSk
You knew pony was going to be on the list weren't you? Well G5 makes it into slot 5 on the list, there's some parts of the world I'm not fully sold on yet (I prefer the fantasy stuff over the modern tech) but the mane cast is great (Espicially Sunny and Izzy), the music is still good and the CG is actually quite impressive as well. G5 is off to a good start. You can watch My Little Pony: A New Generation on Netflix.
4. Arcane https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fXmAurh012s
You do need to be a League of Legend player to enjoy this, the story between Vi and Powder/Jinx is compelling and visually this sets a new standard for a CG TV series, now will it make me play league? Probably not, but Its made me more interested than ever, maybe I give Legends of Runeterra a look. You can watch Arcane on Netflix.
3. The Mitchells vs The Machines https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ak5dFt8Ar0
It's nice to see Sony Animation adopting the mixed media style Spiderverse had with it's other projects, even other studios seem to be taking notes like with The Bad Guys for next year, Mitchells is a fun cross between Family Road Trip film and Robo Apocalypse, is consistantly and a visual delight, probably not going to look at a Furby the same again. You can watch The Mitchells VS The Machines on Netflix.
2. Kid Cosmic https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gBZ9UkhblkM
Craig McCraken knocks it out again with another hit show, it's a super hero show that knows you've seen a lot of super hero shows, and it's not afraid to skip all the formalities to get into the interesting questions and fun jokes to have with the formula. The first 2 seasons have quite different tones and approaches with their shift between main characters, and the final season due next year looks to be insane with what could happen, catch up before the final season airs! You can watch Kid Cosmic on Netflix.
1. Digimon Ghost Game https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tZNciGqbDao
So I would probably say that their are shows beforehand that are technically better than Ghost Game is, easily. But the one show that has given me the most fun this year has certainly been Ghost Game, This might be my favourite digimon iteration since Tamers to be honest, and Jellymon might be very quickly becoming my favourite digimon design in general. Go check it out now, the fun is about to start with this one. You can watch Digimon Ghost Game on Crunchyroll.
---
And that's it, that is my list! I hope you at least check out a few of these shows after viewing the list.
Now, regarding the gift giving giveaway... I still haven't had any entries for it. So either the prizes weren't good enough, or the rules were too complex. I'm going to hope it's the second here, so new rules. Games are still the same as before.
20XX
Brutal Legend
Lethal League Blaze
Soul Calibur VI
Yakuza Kiwami
And if you win, in the spirit christmas, you tell me the name of someone you want to gift these games too. I will then send the gift on your behalf.
So how will the new competition work? Simple really, I've made it known of my love of Jellymon from the latest series of Digimon Ghost Game. I just want you to praise Jellymon as best as you can. Post in the comments your best praise you have. You got 48 hours, and I will pick the top 5 praises as the winners for the competion. Sound good? Post your messages of praise now. If you need some starter tips on Jellymon, these clips should get you stated. Good luck!

EDIT: I'm closing the Gift Giveaway due to lack of responses. Sorry.

Ready to leap into the new year
General | Posted 4 years agoOnly a few hours remain on 2021, which personally was a repeat of 2020 with more worst parts in it. Pandemic is still going on, actually lost a grandparent due to it this year way back in February. And at least we had two months without lockdown in 2020. 2022 probably going to be similar in this regard, though vaccines are bit more available now. Please do get a vaccine and stay safe if you can. I know you may be getting tired, but it's short term waiting versus whatever long term effects you may get from Covid, so please stay safe if possible.
Not had any actual new pony characters created this year surprisingly, some more regular OCs have been made instead. I do have a couple of new ideas waiting and will hopefully have them designed the future for you, and art is still planning to be continued going forwards.
The competition for Gift Giving ends tomorrow, though I still haven't recieved any entries. If I haven't recieved any entries by the time the best of animation list goes up tomorrow, may have an alternate competition done for giving them away.
Anyway, keep positive, look forward to 2022, hope to see you all in the new year soon!

Extending Gift Giving Competition to New Years
General | Posted 4 years agoHeya, I'm going to extend the time to enter the Game Gift Giving until New Years Eve. Hopefully this gives you more time to enter.
Please read the details here: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/10078105/
And you can enter either by PMs, or the comments here.
To repeat:
Another year is coming to an end, and sadly it's been another year of lockdown, hope you've been able to get your initial shots and possibly even boosters if possible, as well as been able to stay safe. Omikron is the main variant out there now and winter is the main time illnesses spread.
So why not keep you and your love ones safe with some quality entertainment this holiday season? Hope you got a list of good things to watch from this year, because that's how this years giveaway is going to work.
---
Every year I've been doing these humble bundle steam key giveaways, This year on offer we have the following games.
20XX
Brutal Legend
Lethal League Blaze
Soul Calibur VI
Yakuza Kiwami
Now, as Christmas is the time for giving, you won't be winning these keys for yourself, you will be winning them for a friend, a present from you to them, with me being your gift giving reindeer
Now, to be in the chance of winning this year, this actually will be tying into my list of Animation recommendations for 2021. Like last year, I have written up a list of my top 10 new favourite animated shows or movies from the year that I recommend you check out. This list will be going up on New Years Day this year (The 1st of January), now, I want you to use your psychic mind-merging abilities to try and guess what's on my list in advance of me posting it
Some things to note about the list first.
I haven't been able to watch everything and not everything is too my taste, so for free spoilers to help with your predictions, I have not been able to see Encanto yet, and I was not a big of Invincible, so don't include either of those on your list.
- You can probably have a good guess on a couple of the things if I've been talking about it a lot, or have done a commission around it as well.
So, how will this work? Well, write up a list of what you think the 10 animated shows I would have written down as. Format it like so.
1. Animation A
2. Animation B
3. Animation C
4. Animation D
5. Animation E
6. Animation F
7. Animation G
8. Animation H
9. Animation I
10. Animation J
- You get 5 points for every show you write down that also makes my top 10.
- You can get up to 5 additional points for placement of the show, with 5 points for a spot on, 4 points for being 1 off placement, 3 points for 2 off, etc. (For example, if Animation G was my third favourite show of the year, you would get a bonus point for being 4 places away from it's position.
- If you list a show not on the list BUT it's catches my interest when looking it up afterwards, I'll give you 3 points. So don't be afraid to put anything down that you would recommend if you are clueless.
- If you get a perfect score of my top 10 in the correct order, I'll... probably call the cops on you stalking me because that's creepy man.
- Tiebreakers scenarios will be determined by whoever posted their list first. So be snappy!
So, in recap, for your chance to win some games to gift friends, write me a list of the 10 new animated shows of films in the comments, and if your list mind merges with mine the best, you'll be winning one of the prizes. The top 5 get a chance to win one game each to gift out. So, put on your thinking caps, load up google to recap all the shows and films that came out this year. And form your lists. Hopefully by Sunday we'll have a mega compendium of animation for you to watch during the holiday break as well as games to gift as well.
Any further questions feel free to ask, otherwise I wish you the best of luck and a happy holiday! I'll be posting some more various commissioned christmas pics over the week as well

Hearthswarming Season has returned...
General | Posted 4 years ago...And MAW PUT DOWN THE TALCUM POWDER! I told you she does this every year. Trying to use the Talcum Powder as snow, honestly.
This years been a different one than usual. As I'm entering years end, I haven't had any new pony characters created this year. Going for some more general characters instead like Nyasia, Tink, Mothera, Wisper, Spinelli, Glumjoy, Sereta, Yolanda and... have I still not named the slime? I really should come up with a name for her soon...
Not that there hasn't been any ideas (Honestly really tempted for a Jellymon inspired Pony) but just wanting to try other things.
I'll admit this year much like last has certainly not been great one. With the Coronavirus still doing it's rounds with variants running rampage. Omikron: The Nomad Variant being the latest one hoping around. And it does feel like people seem to care significantly less about being safe now. We've had vaccines at least which helps a lot. But caution should still be aired somewhat. So make sure you get your boosters when you can. I'm getting my Delta Booster tomorrow (And I imagine the David Cage Booster will be in 6 months time. Yes I know Omicron is a Greek Alphabet letter, but the David Cage comparisons make me laugh, and we do need a bit of laughter in times like this.
I'll admit it's been a stressful year for me, which has probably not been great for me health wise and I need to work on making myself less stressed going into next year. I'll figure out ways to do that. Any suggestions would certainly be welcome though.
And as it's December, here's the plan for december.
- Christmas themed ideas will be uploaded to the gallery as always.
- I'll be doing another top 10 of best animated shows/movies of the year, as I enjoyed last years list a lot.
- I'll once again be doing a humble bundle key gift giveaway. So keep your eyes peeled for the next competition.
That's the plan, hope your holidays are a good one!

G5 of Pony has begun!
General | Posted 4 years agoSo I checked out the debut of G5 for MLP, that being My Little Pony: A New Generation. I quite enjoyed overall, very cute and fun. I don't like as much as I did My Little Pony: The Movie (2017) but for the start of a new generation it's a fun film and a good time.
This post from now on will contain Spoilers for the movie, so if you want to check it out but haven't done so yet, stop reading at this point ok, that's your warning. Let's dive in.
So the key aspect of MLP is to get the characters right, they all should be likeable and enjoyable. And I will say for it's main cast this film does a good job with it's leads. Sunny and Izzy are both very charming characters that are quite fun. You get the sense of a bit of Twilight in Sunny who's a bit more outgoing and adventurous but still a dork, whilst Izzy feels like a Pinkie though maybe not as fourth wall breaking and a little more grounded to reality. Hitch was pretty fun to, one could make the comparison to Fluttershy for him due to his animal magnetism but he's more Applejack like often playing the straight mare in most of the weird situations they get into. Zipp and Pipp do feel like they could get a bit more focus on their characters, we didn't see too much of them in the film but I'm sure the generation will be able to flesh them out more as it goes on as this is just the setup for the most part. The rest of the cast fill their roles well in their support positions. If there's one character I feel maybe could have been handled better, it's perhaps Sprout. I get his King John style approach of someone that's let power go to their own head whilst also being extremely childish in the process. I've just seen it done better elsewhere (Kid Cosmic with Fantos which I'm watching at the moment is the first thing that comes to mind.)
The world is an interesting one, it takes place many many years after the G4 generation, and though we don't quite know how, something happened to separate all the various races of pony, with Earth, Pegasi and Unicorn keeping too themselves. Whilst It would be nice to know how it happened, I feel diving into that question now would rob the new characters agency for the film and get them overshadowered by their G4 counterparts, so the focus instead of trying to resolve this issue was the right call for it, I do sorta miss the high fantasy world for a more modern style approach this generation (Even if the horse puns in the backgrounds can be amusing) but the world is still visual pleasing, with a nice variety between all 3 of main locales we go to. I also like that whilst there are key nods to the G4 generation, the world doesn't feel constrained from it. It's not like a Star Wars Rise of Skywalker Situation where they feel they couldn't go 5 minutes without throwing in a reference to the original films, instead it's more restrained, with the old visual reference to spot here and there if you are looking close enough. I'm pretty sure the Pegasi's home of Zephyr Heights maybe similar to Canterlot in particular which is an interesting note and Earth Ponies become the Tech Race is an interesting development when one would probably assume it would be the unicorns that go that route (The unicorns are more of the Forest Druids in touch with nature and gems in this generation)
The music is all enjoyable with Fit Right In probably being my favourite of the songs in the film. It does feel quite broadway in it's approach for songs which is nice. I prefer the songs of the 2017 movie more still I gotta say, but these are all very fun.
If there is a negative, I guess it's the CG. I think the CG is... fine. It's quite solid CG overall, reminds me of Miraculous Ladybug in particular, and we do get some fun faces with it (Sunny's mugshot immediately comes to mind). Though there are some moments where the faces just look a little blank at times. This is probably down on me being a lover of the 2D Animation more in particular of the original, with it's fun use of Squash and Stretch and how it's free to go out of proportions a lot more often. And we can get that with CG now (Look at something like Mitchels VS The Machines from earlier this year) but I wish this film taps into it more. I understand the general audience consensus is 2D = Cheap nowadays which is probably why we are full CG but I do prefer the 2D Art style still. The opening to the film illustrates that as well.
Overall I'd probably give the film a 7.5 out of 10, I wouldn't be telling you to create a netflix account to watch it right now, but if you enjoyed G4 then I say you'll probably get a kick out of this film as well.
As for me and my posting, I'll still be doing ponies. G5 ponies don't change too differently in design to G4, though their CG modelling does make it a bit trickier to commission art for it I gotta say (I think the main thing you can do is more heart shaped hooves in particular). Though I may or may not continue to tag Friendship is Magic in the tags now, still need to think on that.
I'm curious to see more for the generation, I think there's a 45 minute special coming some point early next year and then a TV Series will begin proper. I dunno if all the voice actors and actresses will be coming back (Though Sunny and Izzy feel like pretty good locks to stay) and wondering how much it'll develop this world and how much it will go for referencing the G4 generation (99% of that will be based off toy sales, I'll tell you that now).
October is just around the corner, so Nightmare Night will be here soon. Get ready for more art coming for the month of fright.
This post from now on will contain Spoilers for the movie, so if you want to check it out but haven't done so yet, stop reading at this point ok, that's your warning. Let's dive in.

The Marble League 2021 has concluded, let's view the resu...
General | Posted 4 years agoSpoilers for the Marble League of course. But with the final event having now aired, we have final positions.
And our winner overall was... Mellow Yellow! That means that Chie backed winning team and will get to help out in humiliating the loser of the competition.
Speaking of, our bottom 3.
In 14th Place: It's the Minty Maniacs. So Voire will be recieving a quite humilitating punishment, not the worst overall, but something bad that will make her chose a better team next time.
In 15th Place: It's the Limers. So Terri will be recieving the very humiliating punishment. Certainly won't be fun, but hey, it's not the worst of the worse.
And in 16th and Last Place: It's the Rojo Rollers. So Zor will be recieving the absolutely terrible humiliating punishment, and Chie will be helping out in perfoming it on him. He really should have chosen a better team if he wanted to dodge that.
I'll be commissioning various artists to show these humiliations. They will all be clean diaper related so that everyone will be able to see them (But that doesn't mean it'll be going light on them). I hope you will look forward to seeing them get uploaded soon.

Let's have a ball, do you have any ball themed suggestion...
General | Posted 4 years agoSo, today marks the start of the Marble League, it's a rather fun series on youtube of fictional marble teams competing against each-other in Olympic like events. It's quite the fun series with weekly updates, and you can see the opening ceremony and first event right here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8Hw_nZtIYk
Though there is one thing to watch out, but it could be made more fun right, how can we make this more interesting to watch?
And before you say "Gambling" yes, but I lost too much on the Euros to go for money guesses for it (Hey, it's probably the only time England will make it into the finals I'll see in my life time, might as well make a bet to remember).
So if you second suggestion was "Let's put ponies in silly ball themed situations", yep, that's the one I'm going for.
I have assigned one pony to each team in the Marble League. The pony that drew the team that wins the Marble League... they get a reward, isn't that nice for them? I think that'll be fun.
...The ponies that got drawn the bottom 3 though, oho, they'll be going to be punished and put in some quite humiliating situations instead. It's evil, but it sure is amusing, the winner itself will help out in the humilation of last place, it'll be a fun reward for them.
Here is the list of ponies competing and which team they are representing. A lot of the picks here are colour and theming related,
Savage Speeders: Arro
O'Rangers: Izel
Minty Maniacs: Voire
Crazy Cat's Eyes: Ato
Thunderbolts: Tula
Mellow Yellow: Chie
Raspberry Racers: Yuki
Indigo Stars: Eri
Hazers: Nine
Rojo Rollers: Zor
Shining Swarm: Suan
Limers: Terri
Gliding Glaciers: Osla
Team Momo: Iba
Green Ducks: Ana
Chocolatiers: Opal
Got a mixture of some of my more commonly used ponies in here with some of the more rarer used ones. If you want a graphic to show them all, check here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/42861719/
What I'm looking for is some suggestions for what punishments could be done to the losing ponies here. The main thing is whatever idea you have in mind on how to tease those with the worst luck, the punishment should be Marble or Ball themed in particular. This could be something like having a whole bunch of marbles dumped into their diaper perhaps, maybe finding themselves stuck inside an inflatable marble suit, or even trapped inside a giant marble with no way out, and let me say, with the way these ponies fill up diapers, it's gonna start smelling pretty bad very quickly for them.
So, send me any suggestions you have for potential punishments of the circular kind, it may get picked and used for a future picture I'll post here. And keep your eyes on the Marble League to find out which ponies will be subjected to the humilation...

Summer Games Done Quick 2021
General | Posted 4 years agoTwice per year, the Games Done Quick team host a week long marathon to try and speed run as many games as possible. These range the whole gambit of any%, 100%, glitchless, glitch showcase, race, blindfolded, 2 player 1 controller, reverse boss order, mystery game race, team relay race, game randomiser race and more. All to try and raise as much money as possible for Doctors Without Borders. I'm quite early on posting the link this time as I probably will be out for the official opening, but Dragon Age: Inquisition will be kicking things off this year, with Psychonauts and F-Zero GX following shortly afterwards (Certainly watch F-Zero GX, that one is insane), Give them a watch and donate some money, will you not?
