Requests
General | Posted 7 years agoDecided to open up requests for whenever I get art blocked. Rules can be read on my page, but I'll put them here too for reference.~Requests Rules~
- Please keep the request simple. Something along the lines of: “[Character] with flowers.” or “[Character] drinking coffee.”
- Canon characters only! Right now I’m super into My Hero Academia, Haikyuu, and Mob Pyscho 100%. So anyone from there I’ll more than likely do it without question. Aside from that, please say what show the character if from so I won’t get confused ^^“ (ex. “Rin from Blue Exorcist cooking”)
- SFW Only! I’ll do cute fluff stuff like kissing and hand holding, but nothing beyond that, please.
- Ships are okay! I’m okay with just about any ship (unless it’s between an adult and a minor then that’s illegal). Platonic, romantic, etc.
- 2 characters MAX per request.
~How to Request~
Leave a comment on my page. Or send a note titled "Request", that way it's easier for me to keep track.
Please be patient with me. I have a job, commissions and a family to tend to. So I'd like to use these as stress relievers so I will be taking my time on these.
If you have any questions feel free to ask and I'll get to you as soon as I can!For those wondering
General | Posted 8 years agoBeen getting quite a bit of messages about it but, the art I'm posting is old, like last year old. I'm just barely having the time to post them all.
Trust me, I wish I could finish like 3 pieces a day. That'd be amazing. So yeah, I'm hoping to be caught up with uploading by the end of the month!
(Sorry for those that thought I draw fast. Im slow as all heck xD)

Life Update
General | Posted 8 years agoHello friends!
Just thought I'd do another update to explain my lack of presence here.
First and foremost, I moved out a month ago to my own place and have been working part time. This explains my lack of activity, gotta pay the bills ya know.
Another things commissions have been slow lately and I do apologize to those that have commissioned me. This past month has been really emotionally stressful. Lost the car, got scammed hundreds of dollars, relationship is currently being rocky, and my landlord almost committed suicide.
So yeah, not a really good month so far. I'm trying my best to finish things as efficiently as possible with my current conditions. I just ask for a bit more patience please. I'd very much appreciate it.
Again, huge apologies for the delay and everything else. If you have any concerns about your commission or anything else, do note me and I'll try to get back as soon as I can.2017 Resolutions (Long Post: Please Read)
General | Posted 9 years agoHey guys!
Hope y'all had a Happy Holidays, and a Happy New Year!
Not gonna lie, 2016 was a butt of a year. It was rough, but now that 2017 here's to hoping that things will lighten up!
Oh boy, speaking of 2017 I have a lot of things planned for this year in terms of art. This year I want to be more progressive and try some new things out. I’m gonna make a list of what I have in store so below (it’s a lot so watch out xD ). I’ll highlight things that are important for commissioners/watcher the rest you can skim or skip if ya want since they’re mostly personal goals I want to keep record of! (Though it'd be nice if you read til the end ;u; )
1. ~*~(PLEASE READ)~*~ Updating How I Do Commissions
Last year I overworked myself pretty bad to the point that some drawings I’ve done I’m not too proud of. I felt like I could have done way better if wasn’t so overwhelmed.
So to help this, I decided to do commission slots. Every month I’ll be opening 4-5 slots and that’s it! I’ll focus my time and effort on those alone until they are completed. Reserved slots are a thing I’ll look into if this plan goes well, but aside from that I’m hoping this will help me become more manageable with my time and art quality. I won't be doing this until I finish what I have right now. Afterwards I'll post journals updating about the slots. Hoping to start this around April that way I have enough time to prep everything.
Another thing I want to fix, is how long it takes for me to do commissions. Due to how hectic my life is with constant babysitting and moving between my mother and grandmother’s home (it’s kinda complicated believe me) finishing commissions would take me months and I am determined to stop that. Once I get things set up I will have a schedule for when I work on commissions that way progress can be made and commissions are finished more quickly.
Last thing I want to fix is how I handle clients when taking commissions. I feel like I was too soft last year and because of that some clients took advantage of that and rushed me or low balled me. No more! I’m gonna be more assertive and professional about this. I really can’t afford to have others push me around on something I should have control over.
2. ~*~(PLEASE READ)~*~ Badges and Stuff!
I got a laminator for Christmas and have always wanted to try doing badges! They look so fun and I absolutely adore doing hands-on crafts. It’s a new area for me that I’m a bit unfamiliar with so I have a friend to help out until I get the hang of it! Already got a list of supplies I need to get, but need to get some money for it first. It’s so exciting for me that I can’t wait to start! I probably won’t be able to for a few months, but I’m hoping with this I can upgrade to buttons and other merch!
3. ~*~(PLEASE READ)~*~ The Future of BKI
I know I haven’t made an official post about this and I feel awful, but a while ago my good friend
RukaStephanieLuna and I started a collaboration team called Black Kat Illustrations (or BKI for short). There’s a few pieces we’ve done so far in my gallery, but basically I do sketch/line and Ruka does colour/shade. We started around 6 months ago and things have been so well for us. We’ve gotten lots of people interested in our work and it’s helped us financially too!
With how progressive things were, we’ve decided on taking things further for BKI. We plan on working on more YCH’s, commissions, and fanart (especially the fanart). At the moment we’re taking a break during January to take a breather. We’ll be back February for them Valentine’s art but then another break in March. Afterwards, that’s when things will go down! We’re super excited about this and have a bunch of stuffed planned for the future!
4. Personal Art
With how overwhelming things were last year, I had nearly no time to work on personal art. It’s a real bummer because I have so many ideas for projects and fanart that I really wanted to do but was too afraid to in case clients got mad I was goofing off and not working on their art. I actually had an Undertale webcomic I really wanted to do, but had to put that aside cuz of commissions. This year I want that to change! With how I’ll be handling my time, I’m hoping this year I’ll be able to do just that. There’s a lot of sketches just sitting on my desktop that I’m super excited to work on!
That’s about everything I wanted to discuss. Whew, it’s a lot to take in, but it’s an important resolution that I really am hoping to stick with this year. Last year was so depressing. This year I want to work hard and be more progressive so that it’ll be better! If you’ve read this all the way through thank you so much! I know it’s a lot of text, and I’m grateful that you took the time to read ;u;

Almost Mid Winter Update
General | Posted 9 years agoSo in relation to what I discussed in my previous journal; This week is going to be my last week staying at my mother's. That means I will be going home back to my main desktop where I can now work in peace and in my own time. It also means, more progress with art and hopefully faster turn around time with commissions.
These past few weeks have been quite stressful but at the same time I
ve made quite a lot of progress compared to how I was beforehand. I've been giving myself a schedule on what to be done and lately I've been keeping good track of it so now I can be more time efficient with my commissions.
Speaking of which, I am planning to finish my current queue before Christmas. Already done quite a huge chunk of what I owe. After these are done, I will be taking a break once the new year comes. I feel like Ive overworked myself this year and havent been doing projects that I've been wanting to for the longest time. There's a lot I want to do when 2017 comes around, and Ill probably make another journal talking about it.
(it's gonna be long more than likely so yall dont have to read it. It's just something to put my thoughts down)
Welp, that's everything I want to discuss. If yall got any questions or concerns feel free to comment or note me and I'll try to reply as quickly as I can.

Turkey Day A Coming (And some updates)
General | Posted 9 years agoSo, I never realized I haven't posted up journals on here, and I think I should start doing so in terms of updates and such.
Well, first things first. Since Thanksgiving is only a few days away, commissions are gonna be a bit slow. I got some things to prep for before then, but I'm hoping to finish at least 2 pieces until then. After that, things should go back to normal.
Second, as of now, my drawing time is going to be a bit limited. Reason being is that I had to temporarily move in with my mother in order to help take care of my lil sister and a friend's dog. So because of this, I had to resort to work on commissions on my laptop (since i can't really bring my desktop here). It's still kinda new for me and a bit of a butt to work with since I can only use it a few hours at a time before having to charge it. But I'm getting the hang of it bit by bit. This should only last for a few weeks hopefully.
Another thing I want to mention, while I'm here at my mother's I want to abuse the heck out of her internet since I usually don't have it at home. So I'm planning on doing some streams. Maybe even do some stream commissions. I'm still figuring out the kinks on how to properly do so on a laptop. Hoping to get that done by the weekend.
That seems to be everything I wanted to write about. Thanks for reading!
