when i made this account, it was to get myself away from an old identity and an old
version of myself. and my only fursona was nell; i hadn't designed shaye yet. so i
feel like my account should just be vee since that's what the rest of the internet calls
me. it just doesn't feel fair for me to identify as nell if i have shaye as my fursona
too, idk jfdklsajfds;ajaj
sorry i do this every year omg
i'll make another journal when i've got the new account up and everything's been
transferred over and such. i'll rewatch everyone on the new account. and infinite

anything from a $1 sketch to a $15+ full digital painting, including character designs
and watercolors, chibi or realistic styles, anything under the sun that you can find in
my gallery. i'd love to open commissions again, i just don't know if there's anyone
out there that would be interested.
so yeah if you'd want to commission me-- or do an art trade even-- i'd love it if you'd
post and say so, and let me know what it is you'd want from me too. even if it's just
hypothetical because of cash issues or whatever, i'm just curious ♥

Posted 13 years agoso after all those days of misery, i went to see a different oral surgeon this morning
just to have them look at it. the second she walked in the door, she said that it was
definitely a dry socket. they also said that i should absolutely not have been taking
tylenol with the vicodin, which the other surgeon had recommended we do x.x
regardless, the dry socket was really painful for them to treat-- they rinsed it a few
times with warm water and then stuffed it with clove and a numbing medicine, but
it felt better within maybe ten minutes. i've only taken tylenol once all day!! it's still
feeling very sore, like a really bad bruise, but the pain is DEFINITELY better. now the
only issue is getting my nausea under control x.x the car ride was really brutal. and
to put it nicely, my digestive system is feeling very slow, so that's making my
stomach feel a bit uncomfortable too x.x
i have to go back to the oral surgeon every day to get the dressing changed on my
dry socket, so that's going to suck a TON, but hopefully it'll start getting better now.
i ate some tomato soup and crackers tonight and that was really yummy. doing my
best to get back to a regular diet.
i still really want some chips and pasta and berries D:

Posted 13 years agoyesterday was not good =/ i started to get more pain on that left side, so we called
the doctor and they told us to increase the vicodin. but once we did that i was just
stricken with nausea the entire rest of the day and all through the night ): i was so
terrified because i was told that throwing up would cause a dry socket, but my
stomach was just feeling so queasy, there was nothing i could do to stop it ): then
because i was so sick, i couldn't bear to eat anything, and if i don't eat anything i
can't have the pain meds, so i was just completely miserable ; n ;
today i'm feeling very weak, but the nausea is better, so i'm trying my best to eat.
i've got the pain under control for now but the stitches are definitely causing a lot
of trouble in there. it kinda feels like they're trying to come out, but they're all real
tangled and it sucks. i hope more of them fall out today :<
so that's my update for this morning. and just out of curiosity, what do you guys do
to get rid of nausea? ♥

Posted 13 years agoi had a really rough night. a friend of mine came to visit yesterday and it hurt SO BAD
every time i laughed ): so i think that really exhausted me and made everything hurt
more than it should have, and wahhh it just wasn't a fun night =/
this morning i ate a pancake; i had a hard time trying to actually eat it but it was
yummy ; 3 ; the swelling has gone down a lot, my left side is more swollen for some
reason idk. my cheeks feel really heavy and the stitches still haven't all come out, they
hurt really bad and i just want it all to go away jdkla;jdfaskj ):
so yeah i'm gonna be missing my family's easter party today; it wouldn't do me
any good to go. but i hope all of you guys have a nice easter, and i'd love it if you
would all eat a ton of candy for me ♥

Posted 13 years agofeeling somewhat better today. when i woke up, all the numbness had gone from the
right side of my face, and i'm now able to wink with my right eye and blink normally
again, yay!! (: my bottom jaw is feeling very sensitive and swollen where the teeth
came out though, like i have small eggs in my cheeks. even the slightest bump hurts
SO much ): i'm also feeling less drowsy this morning than i was yesterday, probably
the anaesthesia getting out of my system.
eating is tricky at first every time i try, just as i get adjusted to how i can move my
mouth and how wide i can open it, and i can't chew obviously. i really wish i could
brush my teeth ):
however, i can't even begin to explain how much i DESPISE the smell of frozen peas,
all. day. long. x___x lmfao
i'm sad i won't be able to draw an easter picture, too. it seems like something's always
getting in the way every holiday so i don't have time for things like that ): maybe i'll
upload a few photos of my easter eggs i painted on thursday though.
one last thing: thanks for all the support and well wishes, i really do appreciate that a
whole ton ; 3 ; it means a lot. and if anyone wants to chat and keep me company, then

it was so freaking terrible. i told them i wanted to have the anaesthesia mask so i could
be asleep when they put in the iv because i'm terrified of needles. but they put it in
before the mask could even put me to sleep, despite my objections and my crying and
mypulling away, omfg it was so traumatic and i was so scared and they didn't give a
shit )': then when i woke up i was crying again and i couldn't breathe and my mouth
was completely dry and they wouldn't give me any water, ugh it was fucking awful ):
so far today i've done nothing but sleep and cry.
and to make things worse, the right side of my face is STILL numb even though the
surgery was at 7:30 this morning. my right eye won't blink all the way, it's burning
and i can't close it unless i hold it down with my hand. i'm getting scared that they
damaged my nerves and it won't ever work again ;____;
i don't know when i'm gonna be better but, i won't be uploading anything for a while.
i'm starving but i'm really scared to eat and i can't think of what to eat.
i'm just kind of wondering if any of you have had similar experiences or any advice
on anything, i've never been so scared and unhappy in my whole life ):

Posted 13 years agoi read the books last year and i loved them, and i've been SO terribly excited to go
see the movie, until i realized that it's probably REALLY graphic ): the problem with
that is, i'm really sensitive to violence in movies and killing and things like that. but
i'm totally fine with tim burton's style of doing gore in movies, like in sweeney todd.
so i was just wondering if anyone could tell me exactly how graphic it is, how realistic
it is, and whether or not you would bring a nine year old child to this movie.
...if you wouldn't bring a nine year old to see it based on violence, i should probably
not see it in theatres, if at all 3:art trades?

unmotivated lately and i have a lot of anxiety that i need to get outtttttt
but because of my unmotivation and anxiousness, it would also have to be a
character i'm really interested in drawing. so uh, if you'd wanna trade with me,
i'd love it if you'd post a character (or a few for me to look through) and maybe
some examples of the type of art you'd be willing to do? or i could just look
through your gallery whatever's easier.
i'd really like to draw some monsters, or maybe some humans, i dunno really.
i'll look at anything you've got to show me.

i'm feeling much better, but this past week i was on break from school, so i hadn't
actually left the safety of my couch until today when i went to lunch with my family,
so i think this awful illness that i had is finally on its way out. i still am having a sore
throat every now and then throughout the day and i'm not sure what's up with that.
but everything else seems to be gone, and for that i thank orange juice. it has worked
wonders, let me tell you. orange juice can cure everything ok
so anyway some of you may have noticed i did something today that is called
drawing and i have posted it for your viewing pleasure, it was a pretty interesting
concept, this "drawing," i think i may do it again some time.
in the meantime, i would like to inform you all that in the past 16 days of my illness,
i have viewed exactly 30 movies, which averages to about two movies per day. the
rest of my time has been spent sleeping.

Posted 13 years agohi guys, i was in school today, and right as lunch ended, i started to get this
horrid pain deep in my ears, and sort of in the far back of my throat, and i
just got so sensitive to all the noises that i had to leave class and go lie down
in the art office under the desk in the dark, ugh it's awful ;-; every sound is
echoing off my eardrums and i can hear my heartbeat. i went to the doctor
this afternoon and they said my ears looked perfect and that nothing was
wrong with me... all they could offer was that maybe it's my wisdom teeth.
i'm horrified, because i don't want a surgery, it's in my EARS not my teeth
and they don't believe me ):
but my best friend ruby-- who just so happens to be the best damn person on
this planet-- drove me home from school and spent the afternoon with me and
took a nap with me and made me pasta and did anything she could, the absolute
sweetheart. i woke up from my nap in absolute chills though, i was shivering and
i was so damn cold but my temperature was 101, i didn't like it ): and now my
whole head is pounding.
so idk when i'll be able to do any art again but i wanted to at least try and
explain to you guys what's going on. i feel awful, and i'm so frustrated that
nobody can find anything wrong ): so i'll keep you guys updated if i can, but i
might be out for a while.

however i probably won't get to them until tomorrow-- my nieces are staying tonight and i'm
pretty busy with them.

i've managed to catch every possible cold that's going around right now,
so pretty much since christmas, i've been sick with something or other,
and i'm still trying to get better 3: but i'm getting there, and i expect to
be completely over all of it by next week, if i don't catch anything else x.x
also my momma just ordered corel for me as a late christmas present
because she's perf, so as soon as it gets here, i'll be back to doing digital
stuff, oh i'm so excited, i miss my poor tablet ; 3 ;

i've been able to look forward to all day...... but netflix only has it if you order
it on dvd ): so now idk what to do!

and keep in mind i am literally the biggest scaredy cat so i can't even think

drew/posted, it is not actually real, i don't actually think
what i made is bad .
i took private art classes from age seven to age twelve,
which drilled perfectionism into my little head like a
religion . so when i see something that's potentially
better than what i made, i instantly think NOT GOOD
ENOUGH
ok now when that happens again none of you will worry
