So, its been brought to my attention that my extremely confusing and mysterious way of scheduling sketchstreams may be making it difficult for people to schedule sketchstreams. Who knew?

I have the worst ADHD in the world and unfortuntely really can't focus unless there's a scheduled stream anymore. Therefore, I am going to open up a little and publically reveal... THE CONTRAPTION

This is the Contraption. It has my open schedule times recorded from here til the end of linear time, its in your time zone whatever time zone that is, and it'll add it to my calendar in my time zone. The days of wrestling and finding a time that works for both of us are at an end, if a time isn't available it will simply not be available on the Contraption. Is it magic? Yes, it is actual wizardry.

The actual stream is handled via Picarto private stream which rotates URLs every so often, which I will get to you when we actually start. This does require you to get ahold of me on Discord so that we can sort out what you have in mind. I can be reached at "Nemo" on Discord, which is a name I battled very hard for and have had to get in fistfights to protect.

An hour is $40, and usually gets about one ink+colored character or a couple sketches depending on complexity. Two hours goes for $75 and I can usually get a basic ref sheet or two character ink+color worked up, again depending on complexity.

If I started taking commissions for permavoring people, is that a surcharge because I would have to put up with the prey's fans, or a discount to get more takers

So I'm not sure if this is super common knowledge, but I've got pretty textbook ADHD. I've been diagnosed for years, and it makes certain things difficult. Increasingly, one of those is commissions, but I've found ways to work around my difficulties. I'm going to try to roll out one of those solutions that I've been using with repeat clients as a more widespread way of getting art to people.

When I get a note on FA, I get excited and enthusiastic and ready to work, and within an hour I have forgotten that I got a note at all. Its not a question of interest or getting mad at anyone or anything, I just completely forget. If I'm lucky I will remember long enough to get a preliminary sketch turned in within 4-8 weeks, which will require another 4-8 weeks to get cleaned up, then inked, then colored, and so on. This, obviously, is a problem,

But, if you message me on Discord, we can schedule a time right then and there to do a timed stream whenever works for you. I can have an entire thing done right in front of you in real-time within one or two hours. As a side benefit, a timed stream is more accurate and usually less expensive than unstreamed work. This is the solution I've been going with for months, and it is comparatively extremely efficient.

I can generally get about a character sketched, inked, and colored per hour, and often get things done way, way faster than that. It costs $40 for one hour and $75 for two, and if we need more time we can just keep doing them. If you see something currently in my gallery, I'm usually comfortable drawing something with the same themes, and I'm always interested in trying out new themes and ideas. I can stream things publicly, or if you'd prefer to do something one-on-one I can arrange that as well.

If you've sent a note in the past year or so, whether I responded or not, I am still extremely interested in doing stuff for you but I admit that I have probably forgotten the entire situation. EDIT: I was really not remotely ready for any of the generosity you guys showed me today. I'm in a healthier place not just for the next couple of days to deal with immediate bills, but to be able to just take a breath for a moment and figure out where I'm going next. Until further notice I'm afraid I'm going to have to turn down offers to draw Pokemon or Sonic characters. Unfortunately between burnout and Discourse, they frankly kinda bum me out too much. I can't concentrate on them enough to draw them, and it leads to poor results. Another artist will give you better results.

Since they're non-canon player avatars, Buddy and Barry are fine. I love every Sonic OC, and they are fine and in fact encouraged. Unfortunately Pokemon OCs are going to need to find another artist. I apologize about the inconvenience.
