Life Updates Jan 2025
Posted 7 months agoSo as most of you know, politics in the Land of the Star Spangled Banner has been a little bit.... wild. This has affected me in a pretty indirect and a few more pressing ways as well as caused me some concerns.
I'm going to spend 2025 working on my comic and setting up some YCH commissions in an attempt to make some big changes for myself in the next five years or so. My passion is art and I would like nothing more but to make a living off of it. I think stories need to be shared.
In other news, I'm going to visit the doctor soon to see what exactly this causing the chronic pain that has been exacerbated through a combination of stress and requiring a more active lifestyle for a few months. I'm a little nervous about it but even if the visit validates or clarifies some of my health concerns, I think that it will be worth it.

Life Update + Small Vent
Posted a year agoJust posting this to let people know: my drawing tablet broke during final's week at uni so I have been trying to deal with technical problems between that and my laptop deciding that when it fell on the floor, it would be a great idea to crush the charging cable (whyy??!?!)
I've been posting on Instagram by posting the Fetches/spirit animals of my Djinn characters because I have been scheduling the posts out, but I don't really want to post the Djinn separately with their Fetches on this site. I'm probably gonna share my goth Djinn next but I can't draw him for at least a full day... *sigh*
I'm doing my damnest to graduate gracefully and this art debacle is feeling more important right now... it's been frustrating, that's what it's been.
The worst part is that the tablet broke when I was in the mood to work on an animation and now I can't do that either because I'm just in the animatic phase. Yeah, I just had to vent about that a bit... *sigh* I ordered a whole new tablet and I want it to last longer than my old one.

Update: I got a new tablet a day ago and I'm still adjusting to it, but I have enough time right now to draw a lot. So I'm doing just that. Posting more art
