I'm going to have to hit pause on any commissions for a little while. My hand and arm are really painful right now, I'm pretty sure I overdid it. I just need to rest, and I'll get back to work as soon as I can.

Currently I am down to my very last current commission, a fairly large piece with 3 characters, so I"m going to consider it equal to 2 regular pieces in terms of time to complete, but I'm taking fall commissions to be worked on once I've got this one done.

I am planning to attempt a vintage style, incorporating Victorian elements such as ornate picture frames and chronistic details.

Since switching to a newer LCD monitor, I'm now seeing all these problems on older pictures, where what I thought was black is actually not. So lots of muddly greys and mottled swaths of dark browns or blues. :/ I want to go in and fix them all.

So because of this, I want to apologize to everyone I've drawn for who's received a picture with poorly defined dark areas.

In Ras' backstory is a segment detailing the events Dylan wouldn't talk about when he was 17. It's not graphic, but it involves child abuse, pedophilia, and rape.
It is absolutely not written in an erotic tone. It is meant to be clinical, a cold representation of how Dylan felt about the situation, how it affected him.
But I know that if I post that material... especially here... people will interpret it in a way I won't like. Not everyone, but the idea of even a few people adding a sexual spin to something that is personal and cathartic bothers me.

But it's there. And maybe when I'm done writing the bio, I'll share it privately.
