So, for those who don't know, my little brother is a drug addict and a thief. He constantly steals from the family in order pawn off items to fuel his drug habit. He has stolen video game systems, jewelry, and even cut the copper piping out of the house... from the heating system... in late fall...

So yeah. He's been in jail for awhile now, and yesterday, he just got released. My mother, who other than this is absolute saint, picked my little brother up and invited him right back into the house.

It's not like anything has changed. Shortly before he got arrested, he stole the controllers from my PS4. That was in April. I just got the PS4 for Christmas. It's not s if my family is that well off. The gaming system was pretty much the only thing we got that year, and it was for both me, and my older brother... and now we can't play it. Silver lining, I guess my little brother realized we'd notice the whole system going missing.

I just want my little brother to be in jail where we don't have to worry about our stuff going missing. Since it's my mom's house, and she refuses to press charges, I just have to hope the police catch him with heroine like they did the last two times.

So, Anthrocon was fun. It was shaping up to be the high point of the year... taking it as an isolated weekend, it might be.

One week later, I had a pretty big hit that I won't get into...

then work got really busy because we had some people quit. I work drawing blood in nursing homes. I was going to three or four places a day, and if I got to any of them after 7AM (Which since happens when you do four buildings worth of blood work a day) They complain that I got there too late and people were already eating breakfast.

... I try to give myself something to look forward to... like my favorite TV show I'd get to watch that weekend... and it goes on hiatus.

So one day, I'm just chilling, hanging with a friend to get away from the stress of life. My boss texts me, and I look at my phone... my screen is completely busted. Not like the glass is cracked... like 2/3 of it is blank. I try rebooting it and everything, but eventually have to take it to the store

The lady at the counter says it's not under warranty... I had it for 6 months, and I already have to buy a new one... get home and call Verizon. They tell me it's under warranty and send me a new one... the new one is having issues with the sim card and even once I return the other phone, I'll be hit with a "restocking" fee because the bitch that works there lied to me so she could make a commission

Then, I get a tooth infection. It hurt so much I couldn't even sleep. Went on for 2 weeks until I could get an appointment with a dentist in my insurance network... thankfully the infection is being taken care of, but I'm still going to need to get the tooth pulled...

And then just the other day, my car won't start. It's the starter, oddly enough... so that was a big expense to the mechanic...

... and all this time, I've just been feeling empty inside from the first thing... so yeah... life has kind of sucked this month. I can only hope it goes up from here... because I'd hate to know what comes next if it gets worse.

DizzyBlyte and I are in the process of setting up a 24 hour, online radio station and are looking for content to fill the world's airways! We figure it's a good way to get your music to a larger audience, while also putting more variety in our selection.

I just had to vent this. It's my older brother again. He's always an ass, but this just got to me today, for whatever reason...

So I'm watching youtube on my laptop with my headphones in. This is normal and I feel it's polite since my brother is watching TV in the same room. He starts talking, so I take my headphones out and ask him to repeat what he said. Instead, he screams at me for having my headphones in when he is trying to talk. It wasn't even anything important. He was talking to me about the "Cards Against Humanity" black Friday deal.

After a few minute of conversation with him, he yells at me to shut up...

It is my birthday! But I guess that's a side note here. I have two diancie codes for whoever wants them. just comment quickly because they expire at midnight. I also have several pokemon omega ruby and alpha sapphire demo codes. Playing the demo gets you a lot of cool stuff when the game comes out. Including Glalie with its mega stone!

The Diancie codes are free to the first two people who comment saying they want them. But if you want a demo code, you'll have to make me an offer.

So yesterday was my older brother's birthday. He's been saying that all he wants is this one lamp. The problem is, you can't buy it. You have to build it. So after sending me a parts list from one version of the lamp, and instructions from another, i made several trips to home depot, attempting to build this thing for him. I do not build many things, and this is fairly complicated. On his birthday, I showed him the progress I made. He told me he hated it, I can't do anything right, and that I had to start over. I do not have the right tools or skill to make this easy, so my entire labor day weekend is going towards this lamp for my older brother.

Aside from that, I also got him a very nice game system, and a desk toy from a show I know he loves. He has a few other desk toys already, so I was sure this would be a welcome addition. Not only did he not say thank you, but he is making me return them both. His comments were, "How much did this cost?" and "What am I supposed to do with this?"

So I guess that's just my life. I don't know if he's ungrateful, or if I just suck. either way, I should get back to work. The wood glue is probably dry by now.

So, I have gone for the last few years, and had a great time. I would like to go again, but only if somebody offers me a spot in their room. So, if anybody has space, or knows somebody who does, let me know. Of course I'll pay my share, and I'll bring a case of soda... maybe some cookies too.

So, I just watched the latest episode of MLP:FiM, "Rarity takes Manehatten." It focused on my least favorite of the mane six, Rarity. For the first time, we actually see her embodying her element, generosity. Of course, the moment she is selfish, she falls into a spiral of depression and thinks she has lost her friends.

I've been thinking about this since Christmas, when my mom made a passing comment about me. My element is generosity... and I hate Rarity because she is me. My happiness has always come secondary to those around me. I give all I can to please people, to the point of draining my bank account and giving up things that make me happy. I think I do it because it is so hard for me to hold onto friends, and I just can't bare to be alone again.

I doubt I can do anything to change that about myself. Is generosity really a virtue? Am I doing something wrong? Maybe I'm corrupted generosity. Maybe I'm Red Eye. I realize that doesn't make sense unless people have read fallout equestria, but I honestly don't think anyone reads these journals anyway, so I guess it doesn't matter.

So, those of you who read my last journal know about my little brother. Well, He was in rehab for the last two weeks. I regret to inform you, he got himself kicked out of rehab and he's back home now. My mom had planned to get him put in a half-way house, but apparently that did not pan out.

People who know me personally know about my drug-addicted little brother. Well, he's shocked me again. I thought it was bad before. He stole video games (Both systems and games themselves,) dvds, my mom's jewelry (including her wedding ring and a necklace that has been in her family for generations), not to mention money from everybody in the house. Today, I found out he cut apart the heating system for our home and sold the pipes for scrap metal. I just don't know what to say at this point.

This will say it all

I was listening to song a brony had made when it struck me. The music video depicted a blank flanked mare being teased for being full grown and still not discovering her talent. She was trotting away from town when derpy stopped her, giving her a letter that said "isn't it great to be different." The mare met derpy face to face the next day, and told her about the hardships she had endured. It moved me to tears, since I dealt with similar things in my life. Bullying, abuse, insults.... then it struck me. While I'm NOT the only one in the world who has been bullied, it DID shape how I think. My mind went back to some conversations I've had before.
When a nonfurry friend asked me what furries were like, I told them, "Just like any other person, except we are a lot more accepting. We know what it's like to be hated for what we are, so it doesn't make sense to spread that hate."
Several years later, at a con, I got into a conversation with a new friend who informed me that even within the fandom, there was hate. There were a bunch of factions. Yiffers, non-yiffers, bronies, all manor of fetishes.... you get the idea. I responded, "People already hate us for what we are. Why should we hate each other?" Her reply was, "More people should think like you."
My special talent, is that I can't hate. I've been so sad, so alone, so often, because of things I could not control that I cannot bring myself to hate anyone for what they are. Granted, if I get to know somebody for WHO they are and they're just a jerk, that's different. But so long as you as you aren't hurting anybody, do what makes you happy. I won't judge you for it. I'll just accept you as another person.
My cutiemark is a closed eye with a teardrop dripping from the corner. The closed eye so I cannot make any judgements on first glance. The tear for the pain. sadness, sorrow, and utter loneliness that gave me this gift.

So, Anthrocon is coming up, and I already payed for my ticket, hotel, all that stuff. I also made sure to put in a request form for time off from work about two months ago. The problem is, so many people quit recently (By recently I mean within the last week and none of them gave ANY notice) that my boss said I'm probably not getting the time off to go. It's not him I'm mad at, it's the people who just up and left. there are now three people in my department. What the F**K!? I was REALLY looking forward to anthrocon! I put a LOT of money into it and I've been planning to go since Christmas! I just needed to vent. Comment if you like, I'd like to hear what people think about this.

The power is out. It's not sheduled to be fixed until later this week. I'm bored. I'm lonely. I know this may be about as effetive as fishing for bacon, but the only way I can entertain myself is with the mobile IM on my phone that I have to charge in my car.

So, I planned to hang out with my friend today. Down the road from his house, I head a pop, and a scraping noise. We waited at his house to see if his dad (who is a mechanic) could tell us what was wrong. He couldn't but offered to follow me home. We got two houses down before my tire popped...

We walked to another friend's house. (We happened to be parked in front of it.) Her father came out and jacked up the car. He found out my shock spring snapped and ate into my tire.

I'm back home now and it'll be awhile before I find out how much it will cost to fix my car...

So yeah... that was my day.
