FREE Headshots
Posted a year agoLooking for some fun characters to possible draw this week, can be any species, real or not. I will be looking for colors that pop or are somewhat unique! Most likely sticking to headshots but may do other things. I’m hoping engage with everyone a bit more and make some friends! I’d love if you told me a bit about your character, and maybe even a bit about yourself as well like things you enjoy! Thanks guys!

Uploading issues
Posted 3 years agoEvery time I upload a piece, it doesn’t upload the full size canvas so I have to rush and resubmit the source file. Im guessing it’s because its bigger than the max dimensions for FA but is there a way around it? And once I do that do people have to refresh their pages every time they click on a submission that I’ve had to reupload?
Struggles with art
Posted 3 years agoHi guys, I wanted to take some time and update you guys on my art, struggles with it and just my account and life as a whole. I’ve been sick in bed the last few days so I figured this is the best time since I am feeling a bit better.
I have always dreamed of making art my career because growing up it was such a getaway from a shitty household, I was very isolated and art helped me not only make friends but feel like I had a purpose or I guess felt noticed and could make people happy with it. Throughout the years I worked hard to improve. It probably wasn’t until the last 4/5 years that I noticed a change. I struggled to find a rhythm with my art, to the point I was pretty much gone for the last year or two on and off. I’d look at my art and wouldn’t see improvement, I just felt stuck. I never want to get to the point where my passion is no longer fun which is what it felt like. I’d compare my art to others (obviously doesn’t help)but most importantly i’d try to see what was popular, because I felt like I lacked that connection with my watchers/supporters and thought well maybe I need to reflect my art to what people like. But that’s never been my style in the past. And reflecting on this has made me look back at my old art and try to figure out what my style is and if i’ve found it. The biggest mistake I think is the fact that I always sketched and lined with a large brush which I believe has hindered my potential, especially I love a messy sketchy look on art, its just my preference. I love creatures and just darker art with a story-Without writing an even bigger book, I most likely with scrap and or remove all my art and work to find me again. That said I want to make a bigger splash and connection with my watchers, whether thats making a discord where we can all talk and hang out or even a patreon showing my journey to find myself. Though I’m personally looking just to make that connection with you guys and I think some type of platform where I can be 1 on 1 with you guys would be nice. And if you guys want to give me suggestions on that please let me know. I truly want to be the best me for you guys and for myself. Especially with work only scheduling me once a week (unfortunately) ive been given plenty of time to work on my art. And I want to be proactive while I can. Thank you guys in advance for sticking around while I’ve been on and off. I truly appreciate it.
