The Russian military's missile attacks on Ukraine's civilian electricity infrastructure over the last couple of months has led to many of the digital artists who are living in Ukraine to be unable to work normally due to only having electricity a few hours a day. Some artists already have equipment that allows them to work in these conditions, such as a tablet and a battery power bank or three, but others are desperately trying to adapt to having only intermittent electricity for a few hours a day for multiple days or weeks.

I was notified that new member has posted art with character that looks identical to my main webtoon character. Same design, clothes, has pet animal on shoulder and they even copied my art style.
This person claims they don't know me and never seen my artwork. After my rant they deleted the reference pic, blocked me and kept the other art while still claiming that it's their original idea.
I'm shocked and speechless!!!

I don't believe that's it's just coincidence. When brand new account starts uploading images with wonky art styles that looks similar to other artists it screams art theft

...and began working on commissions and other stuff.

Dear followers, I think you know that I live in Ukraine, and you read what is happening with us right now. I'm very sorry if there will be delay with your commissions, from fear, emotional stress and anxiety it's hard to work and even think. I will try to finish commission as soon as I can. Sorry that you have to wait, I hope for your understanding.

Honestly I don't know what future awaits... We don't have paypal, Payoneer doesn't work as we wished and russian sanctions won't allow me to use my friends that helped me use paypal. The only thing on my mind is Patreon. At this moment there is possibility to create tiers with the price of commission, which I could withdraw to payoneer and onto my bank account. Patreon promised to create one time donations or paid posts, so from your side it will be still paypal payment, but will need to visit patreon to make commission payment. I think it might work and doesn't sound that bad. Unfortunately other platforms such as ko-fi and other websites that work as middle man either don't work for Ukrainian artists or take a huge cut so it's not an option.
