Broken Promises and FREE SKETCHES?!?!

I could ramble on forever making excuses and what not but I figure it won't excuse me anyway and no one wants to read pointless whiny rambles like the one you are currently reading! (....Damnit. FOILED AGAIN.)
SO LET'S GET STRAIGHT DOWN TO BUSINESS.
I'm going to Adelaide next week so I won't be able to do any actual big arties for anyone. ( :c ) BUT. I want to give something back, even though it's way too late for it really, for all of the conversations, watches, favourites and general well wishes and so forth. What a better way to do it than.. FREEBIES! Like I said, there's not much time for me to be doing extensive art at the moment (which is bum all in itself), but why can't I give out some sketches?
HERE'S THE DEAL. Tonight when I get back from work (in approx. 6 hours) I will draw some sketches for the first three people who comment on this journal! But.. there is a catch. (Can I call it a catch?) It's not just whoever posts here willy nilly. If you want to get a free sketch, you must write a few things down for me.
Here's what I need to know! 1. Your name. 2. Your quest. 3. Your favourite colour. 4. A link to your character reference/sheet, and an OPTIONAL 5. Any kinds of poses you're thinking. (You don't have to, I'll just draw whatever I want if you don't specify.) And HEY PRESTO. (Of course you'll have to be within the first three to write these four things.
NOTE: I am not drawing humanoid figures, strictly animals and creatures (or 'ferals', I hear). It is G rated only! No fetishes, boobies or other things I don't want to look at! OKAY? So don't ask or anything like that, 'kay? We got it? Good~
Okie dokie so.. POST AWAY! I'll reply to comments and etc when I get home too! (ugh why haven't I been on here?! TELL ME THIS) I may do this again throughout this coming week if I enjoy it too. c:

Posted 13 years agoHey look it's been like two weeks since my last journal where I said I was going to open commissions after the weekend. Obviously that uh, didn't happen. :I
Christmas is currently kicking me in the butt and I'm not even really doing anything for it! I work in a supermarket (I'm a check-out chick. Isn't that interesting.) and let me just say that instead of news shows, like Today Tonight, putting on stories about 'Tips for shopping at Supermarkets over Christmas! Don't go in on these days, yadda yadda yadda', they should say "DON'T BE STUPID TO THE STAFF. DON'T BE A PAIN IN THE ASS FOR STAFF. DON'T COMPLAIN AND GIVE THE STAFF A HARD TIME BECAUSE YOU'RE GRUMPY BECAUSE IT'S CHRISTMAS BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO DEAL WITH PEOPLE LIKE YOU EVERYDAY. DON'T ORDER THE STAFF AROUND. DON'T PUT THROUGH $300 WORTH OF ITEMS AND THEN WHEN THE STAFF MEMBER HAS FINISHED SCANNING AND PACKING ALL OF IT SAY "by the way i only have $70 i might need to take something out".' And because it's Christmas and I don't go back to Tafe until February I have extra shifts too.
okay i think that will just about do it. Mouth shut. c:
Anywho! So yeah! I might not end up opening those commissions until next week sometime. This journal is basically just a note to say that I'M STILL ALIIIIIIIVE! (What a long note.)
I hope you're all having a dandy time organising, doing or thinking about Christmassie things and so forth and that your holidaying (If you are on a holiday of course. If not then um, hi how are you) is happy and joyful and that you don't have to listen to too many crappy Christmas Carols unless that's what you like to do and if it is then have a good time doing that (working at a supermarket pretty much means that I have to listen to both christmas carols and the supermarket jingle for 5 hours or more in a row, it's probably the most fun thing ever and I'm sure the customers love it too).
Wow, this has turned into multiple paragraphs of death! I love you if you've read this whole thing and you can have three hundred love hearts on your end of year report! Here you go! <3 <3 <3 x 100!!

Thanks so much to everyone who has commented on or favourited (is that even a word?) any of my works, everyone who has watched me (sounds creepy), everyone who has interacted with me at all and everyone who has put anything on this site in any shape or form (THAT MEANS YOUUUU). I feel so welcomed here and this place has an amazingly friendly vibe to it. I think I might just set up camp here for the next however long. NICE TO MEET YOU~ YOU MAY CALL ME NERU~ c:
I'm planning on opening commissions soon to anyone who is interested. I just need to uhh, come up with reasonable prices for both of us. If you have suggestions or advice for this I would love to hear them as I am an art pricing noob. Who knows, I might end up taking a few requests first~ That being said, it might not be until after the weekend.
uhm so nyes.
