Hey fellas. Lately, I haven't been in much of a mood to draw anything, what with the hurricanes, job stress, and fighting bouts of depression on and off... I haven't had any good ideas lately and I think the quality of my work is suffering. Thus, I feel I need to take a long break.

I'll be heading to Orlando on vacation the 15th of October, see if I can't recharge my creative batteries. So, I'm gonna be finishing the commissions I already owe a couple people, then post all the stuff I've posted on Tumblr. After that... I might post a few sketches, but I won't be as active until I come back from vacation.

Well, fortunately for me, the bulk of the storm bypassed Miami, and my house never even lost power. I haven't looked outside, so I dunno how much of the city was damaged or not-damaged.
All that's left for me to do is to take the shutters back down. The worst that happened is that our cable got cut off, but I think I'll manage.

Hi there.

For those of you who don't know, I live in Miami. The hurricane's bound to come through here tomorrow at the earliest. They're already evacuating Miami Beach and the Keys.

As for me, I beat the shopping rush; I've got plenty of bottled water and I've already put up the shutters in my room. Hopefully I can send you updates, through the phone at least.

If any of you are in Florida or some other place in Irma's path, gimme a shout out.

Hi, everyone.

In case you didn't know, I had been banned from FA for a week after I got a bit overzealous with my art and the mods became aware. It sucked.

While I was in exile, I came upon an epiphany; I've drawn plenty of NSFW of other characters that could have gotten me in trouble, and no one batted an eye. And now I don't know what will fly with FA, so who knows if the next pic or the 10th or 20th pic I draw gets me a third strike from the banhammer team.

Thanks to a stroke of luck, I now have much, MUCH more hours at my job now.

Thankfully, this means more money for me, though updates this week (and for who knows how long) will be a bit more sporadic (I also wanna try to finally finish that comic).

Sorry for not being active here lately, thing is, my dad's been in the hospital all week, he had to have surgery for a hernia. I've spent most of the week taking care of him, just two days ago, I only slept 3 hours on a recliner in his hospital room.

The good news is, the surgery was a success and he's recovering nicely, but it'll be a couple of days before he can return home. For now, I'm holding back on drawing posting anything until things come back to normal.

Just a heads up to let you know how I've been doing.

I've been feeling freakin' anxious and exhausted at the same time, and I don't seem to have any purpose in my life at the moment, maybe I need to set aside some time to just have a liedown for a week or two.

Finally got in 3 days of a good night's sleep. Maybe now I can get back into drawing.

Sorry I haven't been very communicative these last few days of the year; truth is, I had felt a bit burnt out on my art, what with how busy December has been, so I decided to take a break until January. I should have given you all fair notice, but I had forgotten, I apologize.
