Hi guys, a bit of a sad update, really.

I won't be doing furry art anymore. I loved it while I was working on it and I apologize for not finishing some free art that I had promised.

I am so grateful to those of you who took interest in my work while I did it!

You don't really know, but you all helped me through a really tough time in my life. So, thank you.

I'll still be around... liking and buying art. I may even post things when I get around to them at random hours of the middle of dark nights. But I won't be posting regularly.

Hello furry people!

So, on Saturday night we got to Ohio for our summer vacation. However, our suitcases decided to stay in Istanbul for a few days >.<

We just got a call that they should be delivered today. My tablet is (hopefully still) in my suitcase, SO tablet + summer break = ART!

I hope that I'll be able to finish up all the art in my queue this week and next week.

Thank you all for being so patient. My life is like a Lemony Snicket storybook. (This is why I can never charge for art! Haha)

So sorry I've been absent and not doing any work. I don't know if you know, but I'm a teacher. I teach 5th and 6th grade. It's the last couple weeks of school and the deadlines are insane! I'm working my butt off to get everything done when it needs to be, including working through the weekends.

I'll be back to art as soon as I possibly can. Just know that I want to draw just as badly as you guys want to get your art! Thanks for being patient!

I read a while ago that the phrase "Blood is thicker than water" used to mean the exact opposite of what it does today. It must have been on Buzzfeed or Cracked or something.

But anyway yeah, nowadays, we consider "blood" to be family and "water" to be friends, acquaintances, etc. So it means "Family over friends".

In the past, however, "blood" used to represent the blood shed beside your fellow soldiers in battle, or the friends you make while in war. "Water" used to represent being baptized, or, in other words, your family who baptized you. So "Blood is thicker than water" used to mean "The bond between friends that you have shed blood with is stronger than the bonds of your family, or who you were baptized to".

I don't know why I thought of that today. It just cracks me up that the meaning has totally flipped.

I'm sorry I haven't been active the last few days. I've been stressed at work, and stressed at home, unfortunately. I haven't been in the mood to do any drawing really.

I have next week off of work so I'm going to try to catch up on everyone then. Sorry :(
