So, I got a new laptop, specifically for games, for Christmas. I was not expecting this, but it is a most pleasant surprise. Captain Howdy (my macbook) has a pal!

Also, it's been about 3 years since I regularly used a PC and the left side of my brain hasn't been getting too much exercise on my mac. This will take some getting used to.

As soon as I finish downloading some games, prepare to see me a bit more active on steam. =)

A professor of mine has a fondness for sharing strange medical facts/stories around Halloween.

Eukaryote cells are what animals/plants/fungus are mainly composed of. When we die, they die with us.

However...

It has been discovered that viruses containing DNA, such as certain types of cancer, can infect eukaryote cells whose nucleus' have been destroyed (dead) and can reanimate them. Henrietta Lacks's tumor is a famous example.

In other words, zombies exist. In microscopic form.

I've discovered that David Lynch's Inland Empire is the perfect film to have on in the background when working on a surreal project.

Just make sure you're not inking anything when the SURPRISECREEPYFACE parts come up.

The week before spring break (next week) is always awful for me. Mostly due to midterms. I have two tests this week that I have yet to study for; one on Greek literature and one on Greek philosophy.

Also, my thesis professor is getting more demanding with the progress and quality of my thesis. I plan on finishing it over spring break, but I'm behind on inking and lettering, which he will be looking at this week. I'm also debating whether or not I should shade it on a computer or hatch it by hand. Both would take about the same amount of time.

My professor never neglects to mention that this is the most important thing I'm doing for my Junior year. Nghhhh.
