I don't plan on anyone really reading this or what have you. But I just need to write what is buzzing around in my head before I lose myself. For the past few weeks, I have been dealing with something within myself. I didn't know who I was. My fursona is me and many ways and since last year I change it to a dragon char, but people around me and who talked to me never called me the name I thought I wanted for myself, they always would go back to the first one I had used for a long time before. And I rolled with it, but inside it just caused me to ask myself if this was me. I am this dragon or am I chakat Newme? And for weeks, this question ate at me. A few weeks before I left for AC, I made my choice and I feel happy in a way that I don't understand. I chose Newme over the dragon and for some reason, I am happy about it. And now as I get closer to moving out, I feel lost inside and a want to be Newme in ways that I can't understand.

My emotions have been all over the place but always lead to crying to sleep at night a few times. I guess I still don't know who I am. I felt the need to write this down somewhere where someone might just click on it and read it for who knows what reason. I did it cause I feel I have no one to turn to talk about these thoughts and feelings inside of me. I wish I had some way of knowing some inner truth, but I am not so lucky there.

I am happy to say that I made it to AC with only some GPS troubles. The first day has been a blast. I got to meet some new people and got to play a few cool games. So if you are at the AC, just look for Kyanite Skydiamond. The best place to find me will most likely be the game room. I do carry magic cards with me to play with (both EDH and 60 card decks). Say hi, hello, or whatever you want.

I would hope so. The only people I am not really nice to are mean people and people who have done me wrong.

I really hate to ask this of so many nice people, but I need help. I am in a tight spot for money. My car broke down, tags expired, and my college classes got dropped cause I still owe them money. I am not an artist and draw stuff to make up the money I am shy by. I am just a writer trying to finish my schooling. The best thing I can do is offer flash fiction stories for art. Flash fiction is a story told in a 1000 words or less. I will take any amount to do them. Donations are welcome and very much love will be given back. Well here goes nothing. This year was my first year going to AC and it was also my first time going to a furry con. I remember when people hear that it is my first; they just look at me and give me a welcoming smile and tell me that I am going to have fun and tell me that this might be a little overwhelming. And I have agree with them. It was very overwhelming. I have been to a few anime cons and MLP cons, but nothing could compared to AC.

I almost didn't make it to the con, for my car chose two days before the con to stop working for me. But luck was being nice to me and a friend helped me get a ride to con. If you know me, I am a very shy person outside of cons. So I was kind of scared to ride with people that I don't know in person. I am happy to say that they are very nice people and I owe them a lot.

It was great five hour drive from where they picked me up to Pittsburgh. I use to live near Cincinnati and I was kind of scared of walking around cities. But I am happy to say that I have never felt safer walking around city before.

I am lucky that I pre-reg for the con. So cause I got their early enough that there was no line waiting for me. So I spent the next few hours till the game room open walking around in hopes that I could friends that I have not meet in person before, but sadly I just spent watching everyone hanging with friends or catching up with old ones.

One of the best surprise when I got to the game room. I got to meet someone I would never thought I would meet.  SteelTheWarrior . I only meet them once before two years ago at Trotcon. If you ever get a chance to meet them, you should. They have this amazing game they created call, 'Battle Monsters'. I found out that they remember a char that I created during a game at Trotcon two years ago and have been talking about it to others. Not going to lie, it made me blush.

I sadly didn't go to many panels this year. I got busy with just roaming around and playing games in the game room. Outside of the game rooms, I played a game called Joust. The game was so much fun then it would appeared to be. So I played it for a bit and came back off and on to play. Like I said before I spent most of the time in the game room hanging with new friends.

I ordered a few con badges and was able to pick up a UV badge before leaving on Sunday. I wish I could stayed longer, but the awesome people who gave me ride had things they need to take care of, but cause my family doesn't know about me being a furry yet; they where nice enough to have the badges sent to their place.

Sadly I only took a few pictures of the fursuiters. I also got to meet a few amazing artist that I follow and found.

I am hoping to take more pictures next time I go and going to more panels next time. If you see me, look for Kyanite. I am hoping to meet some old friends and make a tone of new ones. Just please note that I am bad with faces and names at time.

So my overall feeling of AC is amazing. I had a blast and I hope to get to go back again if I have the money and some awesome people to share a room with.

I think this is still a hot topic for writers. Should writers have tip jars or do commission stories. I been thinking about starting a tip jar or some form of donations for my writings. The only reason I was thinking this is because if I can get some tips, donations, or do commission writing, I would able to get some cover art for stories I post and which would help pull more people to check out my writing. I know if there is some basic art anyone can find online or no art, no one is going to check out the story. I just want some input on this. Any help would be awesome.

I have been thinking. I have only been a furry for two years now. I found the community when I was looking up some yiff. But in two years I found more then I could ever believe I would find. I found friends, people who truly care about each other. Before I felt alone in life. Then I find the furry community and it welcomed me with open arms. It made me feel safe and happy. I know I have made mistakes along the way. I am me, I can't change that, like i would my shocks. I am proud to be a furry. Cause I have found people with so many talents that I'm blown away. From people who can make thoughts come to life to making music that puts a smile on other faces. I just hope I can join the people with such great talents. But for now, I will just enjoy the wonder they bring to the world.
