Since the start of the year, I've started this dumb little ABC project, which is my 2nd attempt in doing all 26 letters with a character to represent each one. I succeeded the first one in 2024. But this year, doing covers on various media, I think I bitten off more than I can chew. Now hold on, readers! This doesn't mean I'm announcing that I'm giving up on it. No way! I plan on finishing it. It just might take me into 2026 to finish.

Why have I been taking a long time doing this? I dunno, maybe I wanted to try it. But real life events and other things tried to steer me from it. (shrug) But I'm gonna see it gets completed by next year. After that, no more ABC-themed projects for a while. 2026, I plan on doing something else for myself.

And yes, I still have the winning covers written down and the chosen characters for the covers. Thank you to those who help voted the picks for each one.

So scammers are getting worse and more crafty. They're now impersonating users, mostly artists I follow but barely ever talked to outside of commissions. One of them as an artist that actually warned people about this, tried to contact me and I knew something was off. Thankfully I stopped and dropped/blocked them before anything else happened.

So to play it safe, I will no longer display my Discord name in public. And if anyone remembers it's as my username anywhere, I've added some numbers to it so only friends and mutuals already in my contacts list will know it.

If anyone wants to contact me on Discord, you will have to note me. And to make sure it's you, I will ask you who you are and you must answer me your FA username. If you don't answer or follow these rules: you will be ignored/blocked.


I advise others to do this too to keep safe. Scammers are a plague upon the internet. Stay safe.

I miss talking to people here. But it seemed even before the death of the site owner, I feel I've been losing touch with people. It's part of why I barely do NSFW anymore or bothered posting.

Lemme tell you this to any so-called "commission" artist out there. If you are looking for clients, DO NOT GO TO THEM. Let them come to you.

Reason I say this is because approaching a stranger, offering to draw their character, and then pull out the "Okay how much you gonna pay for it?" bullshit after the fact is scummy AF. To anyone reading this: be careful who you talk to. Do not offer commissions from anyone who just come to you out of the blue, buttering you up in "liking" your character or art. Nobody would want to just draw for you out of the goodness of their heart. Don't ever fall for it.

And to those who pull this shit on people: shame on you!

FA is finally back up and running! Oy vie! Not the first time the sites gone down for about a week or longer but this is why I don’t stick to just one or two sites. Hopefully the admins will prevent another outage like this in the future. I’m sure they are doing their best.

Apologies for slow uploads, IRL has been creeping up on me and it's not been fun. Even before the site going offline. My dad has been hospitalized after fracturing his hip and he will be kept there after surgery. In the meantime, I've been looking after his pet dog Tia and I had to take her to the vet since she had a fatty mass on her back. My sister will be taking care of any bills of dad's in the meantime too. So things have been scary for me, worrying for both my dad and his doggie's health.

And lately, my old job at Santa's Land, a Christmas-themed amusement park, will be re-opening again for the season and they were lovely people who asked me to come back. I return May 17th, so I have little time left to try and work on what I owe or planned. To those who I still owe commissions to, I deeply apologize to keep you waiting. I will get to them ASAP. Same for those who voted for my ABC project still WIP. I will get back on that soon too.

I'm trying not to stress out, I'm only human. To those who have the patience of a Saint and understand my dilemma, I thank you and I love you.


Lastly, about commissions, YCHs, and adopts. Commissions and YCHs aren't gonna be possible this year, even Pride Pals for June. :shrug: At least for the public.
