I'm grinding my Pokemon like you wouldn't believe, I hatched a Hapiny, and I finally had my Luxio learn Spark. Goddamn. First electric type you see and the bastard doesn't learn spark until level 18 on it's 2nd evo. What the hell man?

I love Pokemon, I'm such a freaking nerd when it comes to this game. I swear. It's so much fun! I know I already reviewed it ages ago but it bears repeating!

When a game this popular and this time consuming offers up new stuff to do OTHER than the usual grind-and-grow it does WELL! Usually the side quests and mini games become more popular than the actual game itself! When you can take a break from the game, and still play the game, THAT'S when you've made something ingenious! :D

Oh my god this pizza is amazing...

So I've been inside all day today, my back hurting and there be nothing to do but grind my Pokemon levels, (yes I'm playing Diamond and Pearl, if you want to trade friend codes please post them here I WANT TO PLAY!) and exploring my haunts online.

Today was the big gay pride parade but we slept in and missed it.

I'm a bit bummed because it's only once a year hot nearly naked men go and parade themselves down the street and encourage staring. The fair requires like 20 bucks to enter and money is VERY tight. I can't even walk to Taco Bell and get something from their dollar menu it's that bad.

Last night I had an odd gamer dream,

I dreamed that my friend  AmberCoyote was playing this weird MMORPG (think like, a mix between Final Fantasy XI online and World of Warcraft) I was, and I saw him in the game. He was like around maybe lets say level 80 or something while I was a mere level 5 or 10? Just on the look of things.

He wore this epic battle armor and horned helmet, and he rode this huge horse-like creature while wielding a huge pike or spear or trident.

Then the camera kinda just followed him as he rode straight into the water of a lake and down into the bottom where all these fish monsters were swimming in perfect lines and formation.

He leaps off his mount and then goes into huge a spinning attack, just obliterating everything and racking up all this experience.

Then later in the dream I see him in a car (well I don't really see him, but you know it's like that dream psychic thing, you can't see a person but you just KNOW it's them somehow?), but he's playing the game still, like on a huge screen IN the car, and I see on the screen that he just like, synthesized something and got all this experience from that too.


Then it kinda fades from my mind and I wake up to find Bailey in the middle of the bed. Being cute. The strangest part of it is, I don't think Amber's the type to even touch an RPG, he's more of an FPS fan I believe.

There's a black rabbit at the LBCC Liberal Arts Campus that likes me.

Yesterday I approached the rabbits near the front of the campus and tried to pet them, most of them hopped away before I could even touch their heads, as usual. They don't let you touch them unless you have food. The rabbits are actually domesticated drop-offs from homes that either couldn't care for them, or didn't care at all.

So I'm going around, seeing if I can't at least touch one of them, when I slowly approach a black rabbit lying on its tummy in the grass. I extend my arm and bend down slowly and steadily walking toward it, making sure he (she?) knew I was there...when...

...I found myself actually petting him! He didn't move an inch! He just lay there and let me stroke him! It was awesome! :D

I pet his back, I stroked the bridge of his nose, and I even got to scritch his ears! He must have either really trusted me, or have been a very recent drop-off.

Now I left the campus to go to an ATM over by the burger place "Dale's", but unfortunately the ATMs weren't working, so I remembered the ATM in the student cafeteria. I would pass by the same rabbit again, and to see if he recognized me (luckily he was still there when I came back) I approached him again.

He did, and he got more pets. :)

So today, after class I see the very same bunny still there, lying down, same area. I walked up, and he kind of shifted when I did, but again he let me pet him.

I'm so tempted to pick him up, I really am, just to see if he'd sit in my lap. XD

So does anyone remember a cartoon from the late 80's, early 90's about a team of lizard-ish superheros? One of them had telekinesis as a power? They wore similar space suits but their visors were different colors? One of them was a light reddish?

What a cute little surprise on Apr 1st!

So Stephen is off work in two weeks and he's stressing over me not having a job while I'M stressing over not having a job and basically we're just trading and stacking stress.

I found out last night that my left foot has a lovely and LARGE blister on it, right below the big toe, on the underneath. So I walk on it constantly, and did so very much today.

School seems to be going well, but the projects seem to be getting a lot harder even though I'm completing them with 100% or at least a 95% completion rate. I have a B+ in Illustration class, and I believe an A in Publishing, but for the damnedest reason I don't FEEL it.

Now fear is setting in and I nearly spontaneously burst out crying at the bus stop today after depositing my last unemployment check. Yes I do believe I'm eligible for the extended thing they're doing but I CAN'T GET EDD ON THE FUCKING PHONE! I either get a message at the very start that they can't answer or I go through four different automated menus only to be disconnected at the end by the same damn message!


I'm visiting my folks in Orange County this Thursday until Saturday evening. I'll be working on schoolwork and calling people back, but if you'd like to chill, dear god please let me know. I need to take my mind off of this shit already.

I can't pay for anything of course but company is always delightful. ( T_T)

So today I obtained some nice new boots for casual wear. I love them already. ^-^

They feel so much better than the awful pair of "dressy" shoes I bought the other day for job searching. They looked nice and felt fine in the store, but when I wore them home (mainly because my old shoes had literally fallen apart and were being held together by their own elastic laces) and around town to pass out resumes and apps, they rubbed my heels bloody raw! My socks were absorbing the blood!

So of course I saved the recipt and today we returned them, hardly a fuss, cash back, happy day.

And tonight just recently I'm in the artist studio with Stephen and I finally drew Nidonemo's face in my own style...and it felt so wonderful. I finally have an artistic identity. I'm not relying on my little Tails recolor sheet, I'm going to try to start sketching my own face in my own style.

I'm also going to try and upload a very old picture I did a long time ago, an old "Face Off!" kind of scene I made before I had lost / forgotten my style. Also, I'm going to retouch it and bring it out in it's full glory by sending it through Illustrator and possibly Photoshop. :3

I'm getting pissed.

So up until now, I had fallen out of sketching, drawing, and pen & ink (the latter being one of my favorites during my arting history), only to turn to the realm of Creative Writing.

For a long time I wrote because it was so much easier to tell a story that way, plus I could describe everything in detail, luscious, delicious detail.

Now I have been starting ever so slightly back into drawing again. However I soon believed that I was without a style.

Looking at other artists here, I found that if I were to draw, I was afraid that I would simply be a Mimic, a copy, a mirrorer. I was terrified that I would simply pick up on THEIR style and be completely unable to create my own.

That was until I discovered some old sketches of mine I had stuffed in an old artist toolbox from my days at Westwood College of Technology. I found that I had INDEED evolved a style of my own all those years ago, and it was mine and only mine.

Of course I am much too exhausted and mentally drained to even pick up a fucking pencil tonight...there's just been so much shit I need to do I feel as if I won't be able to share it for a while...but I will draw. Oh fuck how I will draw...

...and in 100% Nidonemic style.

So I just called Famous Dave's for like the third, fourth time? And I was transferred I believe to their hiring manager. She sounded like she was looking at my information, asked my phone number, made sure my last name was what it was and all.

"Alright, I'll get back to you. Thank you."


I hung up and immediately started giggling like a madman.

Last night I had a strange kind of dream, it was very clear but most of the elements are lost now, of course.

I dreamed I was standing in front of the mythical sea serpent, Leviathan and on either side of him were smaller little serpents floating in the air. Then I heard my mother's voice telling me about Kabbalistic things and how each color represents a human emotion, and while she said this, I fed Leviathan pieces of food (I think it was bread) and with each piece Leviathan turned different colors and showed their respective emotion.

It made sense then...and then I woke up.

...spiritual vision? Not sure...

So yesterday I got up and decided it was high time I had a nice donut and hot chocolate breakfast. So I did it! It's so awesome when you put the rest of your cinnimon roll in your hot chocolate, I swear! Best breakfast I've had in a while.

Anyway, so Stephen calls me and invites me to the set he's on at El Dorado park, so after a nervous new path I had to take, I got there and I saw the park for the first time in daylight. It's HUGE! With at least like, three huge expanses of just green grass fields, perfect if you ever wanted to stage like a LARP war, or any kind of outdoor festival or something. :D

So there are a ton of ducks and geese and these little black birds that don't seem to fit into either species, but are very cute. Also there's a few cranes but they keep to themselves mostly. Always solo.

So I'm walking around and this goose with what looked like a black "crown" beak on his face comes kinda muscling up around me, making grunty noises and all. I look down at him and smile, and I say "I'm sorry I don't have any food for you." so he keeps grunting and moving around me. So I say, "Buddy if you're looking for a fight, you're majorly outclassed, I don't recommend it."

He walked away. XD

So later on we went to an adjacent park with more geese and other birds, seagulls whoring out the place of course. And we have this 25lb bag of corn feed, which is designed for birds of course. We start feeding a little here and there and they just SWARMED around us, it was awesome! XD

Again a large goose came up to me and started grunting and I looked down and he actually BIT me! The first time I was like "Wow you have balls!" the second and third time it got annoying so I took two fingers and I bonked his neck away, saying "Cut it out! I mean it!"

I had to bonk him like three times before he backed off, and I called after him "I ain't takin' none of yo bird shit!" XD

So yeah, awesome day yesterday. :3


But this morning I'm sneezing up a storm. I think my allergies have returned. (T_T)
