TMI Update Tuesday, Vacation And More!
Posted 3 months ago It is the first of July, known in Canada as "Canada Day", and I am officially out of my lease and moved out of my old place. As I promised/threatened earlier, I will be taking July off (save for a couple obligations). I wanna' sleep in, paint some minis, draw some personal art, and give out GIFTS! I've had a lot on the backburner for a very long time while I handled comms lel. I'll still be open for bone-throws, if you wanna' support me or just make damn sure something on my to-do list for this month gets done ;D

twinfoxes and I are moving at the end of this month. Going to be living with my folks for a little while, just as a stop-gap until we can get a new place. Time and energy have been a little limited for comms, but I'm still chewing through them. I should still hopefully be able to clear the queue by the end of the month, depending on my internet situation in the next couple weeks.

Posted 9 months ago Whoops, meant to do this one earlier <:3 I will try to keep it short and sweet! (EDIT: mission failed, journal's kinda' long)
We have to move, this year. Our rent is going to be raised to a point where we can't really afford to live here much longer, and we have enough complaints about this place as it is. twinfoxes and I are looking to move out of California this year. Haven't settled on another state yet, but we were looking at places in the Midwest or Pacific Northwest. It would be great to know I've got some more contacts in either of those areas, if someone out there can get us in touch with a reliable realtor or has a spare crash-pad.
To accomplish this, I gotta' really build up my savings. I would really like to avoid raising my comm prices if I can, but it might happen this year if I end up just treading water. If you'd like to support me otherwise, you can do so by just treating yourself, y'know? ;D I'm going to be rolling out a bunch of new prints, stickers, and dakimakura on the merch site over the next couple months, and I'm once again putting sprites into PuppetNightmares. The SubStar and Patreon get you access to my artwork waaaaaay in advance, and I've got a print/sticker bundle on my Patreon that gets you new prints way before they hit the store. Lots of goodies you can pick up for yourself!

I actually got in on Sunday, but I wanted a day to just kinda' decompress <:3 As my American audience knows, this week is Thanksgiving, and it's always kind of a hectic time for me. My birthday is also next Tuesday, so I'm taking this whole week to chill a little bit. I'll still be doing comms, but I'll be cherry-picking them between personal art and gifts I want to give to other people.

Not yet, actually, but soon. twinfoxes and I are leaving this weekend for Chicago to visit family and see some sites. Will probably be difficult to reach during the trip, and my family's Thanksgiving Gauntlet begins pretty much the moment we get back. So I'll be working on comms and prints for the rest of the week before I'm away from my tablet and half my electronics for a week. Comms will be a tad delayed, I'll be working at mostly full speed again in December.

Posted a year ago Man it's been a long year, and quite a difficult one if I'm being honest. Seems like everyone was strugglin', and I hope things have evened out for people. I'm a bit burnt out though. Summer kinda' crippled me.
Unfortunately, I still have a fair amount of comms to handle, and I've got obligations next month that are going to take a lot of time and energy. So I don't think I'll be able to open for new orders next month :I But that doesn't mean I'm inactive! Brace for a growth drive >:3 Will Valkyrie be able to take on The Pumpkin again!? Only time will tell!
I'll also be using that time (between projects and comm cleanup) to roll out some new merch. Got some exciting new stuff on the horizon~
But yeah, okay, the main takeaway here is that I might be quiet for a bit while I just try to get some work done and then relax.

Late, But Opening August Slots
Posted a year agoThat Very Cool And Fun heat wave last month threw such an immense wrench in my workflow...Still was able to clear about half my comms list though, and I still got bills to pay baybee.
I'm gonna' take a couple slots for August (maybe 3-5). Tess and Monique have birthdays this month, as well as huge asses, so I'll prioritize any orders that have them (or just otherwise tickle my fancy). Posted a year ago Hey y'all there's been a work delay all week and there's gonna' be another for the next week or so. We're gonna' be going through two whole weeks of 105F+ weather (40C+ in heathen units) and I live in a shithole from the 1930's with no insulation. The surface of my tablet is as hot as the sun after maybe 45 minutes of use, and I can't stay in my office very long.
Just a heads-up that there could be a decently-sized delay on comms as I've basically been furloughed by the sun.

Posted a year agoWoooo-wee, the time kind of got away from me. Sorry I didn't post much during the end of the year, holidays and birthdays (including my own :3) left me a little swamped. The beginning of the year was also a little rough due to a very minor health issue. But anyway, things are pretty much back to normal. December is almost upon us, which means it's time to open up December slots! Some of the November comms will roll over to December because the month was kind of hectic. December will be pretty nuts too and I'd kind of like to take some time to chill, do personal work, give out some gifts, and get some new merch done. December is almost upon us, which means it's time to open up December slots! Some of the November comms will roll over to December because the month was kind of hectic. December will be pretty nuts too and I'd kind of like to take some time to chill, do personal work, give out some gifts, and get some new merch done. So the December slots will be a bit limited and pretty much cherry-picked to ideas I just wanna' do.
