General | Posted 14 years agoAnybody know what tools it takes to take apart a ResMed Elite II Cpap? im getting error code 1019.. #nosleep
Ive see a few suggestions online about using a hair dryer on it, or just leaving it unplugged. But i think non of that is gonna fix the issue. error code 1019 says it got water in the unit somehow from the humidifier. :(

New iFC hotel for 2012!
General | Posted 14 years agoiFC2011 has come and gone. We had a good time, and we hope you did too. But now is the time to look to the future!
iFC2012 - FURS IN SPACE!
Both during the con, and in the last several weeks following iFC2011, the Board has been going over lots and LOTS of feedback about the convention.
After careful deliberation, we have decided to relocate to the Sheraton at Keystone Crossing. While have enjoyed our previous 2 years at the old location, we have decided relocating will open up more options for us, and you the congoers as well.
The Sheraton we will be located in has snackbar (with starbucks coffee) an in house restaurant, and a bar on the main level with lots of seating for congregating. The panel rooms and main ballroom will be much more satisfactory in terms of size and layout. Oh, and did we mention theres a hallway leading to covered parking (no holding art supplies in one hand and an umbrella in the other), as well as one to the adjacent Fashion Mall.

The new hotel is also only a few minutes away from our old location, so all the businesses and restaurants you have become accustomed to being in proximity to are still close at hand. With a whole new array of choices!

General | Posted 14 years agoThank you guys, for another amazing year. With 369 total attendees, 75 fursuits in the parade, and 1200 bucks raised for our charity, i think we have accomplished something huge for our small community here. Next years theme being "Furs in Space!" and or GOH being Alkali, and our Featured Artist being Chris B. Critter, we are gonna make next year rock even harder. The date will be Aug 10-12th in 2012. We have some special announcements to make coming up here soon, and i think ya'll are gonna like it! :3
We will be revamping the website, and putting up a whole new theme to spread the word. As well as starting earlier, on looking for people to run panels, programming suggestions, DJ's, and getting artwork for the art show, and con book.
We also LOVE to hear feedback, good or bad! Please don't hold back. We want to make this con all about YOU, and that can only happen if we know how your time spent in Indianapolis was occupied. Comments or suggestions are always welcome!

July 25th is the last day to get the discounted room rate at the hotel, and July 30th is the last day for Pre Reg for the con itself. Make sure you get that done! At the door reg will be available. If you haven't already, now is the time to make sure you are pre-registered for iFC! After July 21st, online registration and pre-reg pricing will go away for good. This is also aligned with the day that the Hilton Indianapolis North will cut-off it's online reservation service.
After July 21st, all registrations will need to be completed at the door during the event. Hotel reservations after that date will need to be made by calling the hotel directly and asking to speak with the sales department. The Hilton Indianapolis North can be reached directly at (317) 849 6668.

Same weekend, New Hilton!
General | Posted 16 years agoAs of today, we are making a significant change to better accommodate our guests. After research due to high demand for the event, we have concluded that our current venue is unable to provide adequate space and accommodations for the convention. We have decided it is in the best interest of everyone involved that we relocate the event to a larger more accommodating venue.
Today, it is our pleasure to announce, The Hilton Indianapolis North will be taking over as our venue for IndyFurCon 2010. The new hotel houses larger spaces for our events, dealers, and more places for our guests to congregate. This Hilton is also owned and operated by the same group that owns the Sheraton Detroit Novi, the host venue of Furry Connection North. Their entire staff is excited to have us this summer. This choice also gives us a big financial advantage, saving thousands on cost, allowing us to do more for all of our guests. Other features at the new hotel include a larger restaurant, bar, exercise facility, and pool. Moving only one mile south from our prior location, we are now in a different county giving us less occupancy tax, access to city mass transit systems, and a free shuttle to surrounding restaurants and shopping.
Cost for guest rooms remains exactly the same as before. However, we are no longer offering the cheaper $74 room rate because we have no alternate hotel. Rooms with 2 queens or single king beds will remain $94 per night. Guests who reserved rooms at our prior hotel will need to create a new reservation at the Hilton Indianapolis North. All reservations made at the Hilton Garden Inn Fishers will be automatically cancelled. Guests with reservations at our previous alternate hotel, the Holiday Inn Fishers, will need to make sure they cancel their reservations as we are unable to do so for them. If you would like to double check to ensure that any reservations are cancelled, the Hilton Garden Inn Fishers can be contacted at (317) 577-5900 and the Holiday Inn Fishers can be contacted at (317) 578-9000.
Reservations and information regarding the Hilton Indianapolis North will become available throughout the week.
