Alright, so last time I went through a bit of gaming depression, Metroid Prime (specifically in the Trilogy disc) cleared it right up. But before I even got around to trying that, I went to my Mom's (like every other weekend) and played my little brother's copy of Shadows of Mordor.
Now, I must say that I wouldn't recommend the 360 version to anyone who wants to see good graphics, as the 360 takes some time to load textures, making the game visibly unnapealing, but the gameplay is heavenly!
So, in other words, my go-to game this time is Shadows of Mordor.

Unfortunately, I live with my dad, and my little brother lives with my mom, meaning the copy will stay at Mom's while I go home.
Luckily, the Wii is at my dad's, meaning I can still play Metroid Prime when I get home. It's worth a shot, anyway...

So, don't worry, I'm sure I'll be back to arting all over the place soon enough. :3

Alright, so I'm not one for making a huge deal out of anything negative. I don't like talking about the bad in my own life because I want be all uplifting and stuff...
But I'm sure you've all noticed a drop in posting and that's because I'm depressed.
Often when I'm depressed, I'll draw or play video games. Sometimes depression targets a specific area, and I won't have fun playing games, or I won't feel motivated to draw.

This time, its all three.
I'm irritable and grumpy. (IRL, I hide it well online.)
I feel like I've got a hundred ton art block crushing me. And to top it off:
None of the games I've played have cheered me up.

Portal, Shovel Knight, Mario 64, Battleblock Theater, none of them make me happy like they used to.
Hell, I just bought Majora's Mask 3D, and I haven't been having fun with that despite LOVING the Wii Virtual Console one when I played that.

The only things I get some enjoyment from are playing the ocarina and riding my bike.
Oh, and guess what? The seat broke yesterday, for the third time in the past two months.
I'm hopefully getting a new seat soon, so that won't be an issue again.

Now, while things are bad, I'm not looking for pity, just understanding. I'll get back to drawing when I'm done with all this... Whatever...

My fingers are sore and my thumb is shaped like the RT hole on my plastic model.
Yeah, I have a plastic "beginner" ocarina.

I need a ceramic one, as, with one day's practice, I have played five songs, and gotten two of them down perfectly a couple times. Imagine what I could do with weeks of time!

If you are interested, look at your local Guitar Center or Hobby Lobby and look for a plastic sweet potato ocarina. Then, look up David Ramos. He's got a YouTube channel where he plays Ocarina and teaches you how to play some awesome songs.

I'm just about at fifty watches! (Five left, baby!)
So, once I hit it, I think I'll do a raffle of sorts. I've been working on a couple pieces, but they should be done shortly. Aside from those, I really have nothing to do...

Alright, so I pick up these supplies for mini Majora's Masks that I'm gonna make, and I notice a loud 3-5 year old kid in the checkout, which is always irritating (aside from the part where he was singing, "iss all abou tha bayss, bou tha bayss", which was pretty funny)
But, as I'm leaving the store, he points up at me and says: "Mommy, look at his face."
(I pretend to check my phone so I can use it like a mirror)
The mom tells the kid, "it looks like your face, I know"
(There was nothing on my face)
As I walk out the store, I hear the kid say, "I don't like his face..."

So I was about to leave Wendy's and bike home tonight when 'snap!'
I fall flat on my ass off the back of the bike and the seat falls in front of me.
The bolt that was holding the seat together had snapped. :O
Luckily, that Wendy's is right near Lowe's, so I dropped in, right before closing time, I might add, and went to see someone about the bolt. They were really helpful, and got me what I needed.
Ironically, I spent less on the bolt that I need on my bike than I did for the cork that I wanted for my OoT Bottle. X3

Go to Hobby lobby and look for a 500mL bottle in the shape of the bottles from OoT
Go to Crowder bros. (Ace Hardware) and pick up a cork that, somewhere in the middle, has a 2" diameter. That is the ONLY place I have found a large enough cork. ō_ō
PUT THEM TOGETHER!!!

So I've been playing Skyrim, and I recently learned the entirety of "Fus Ro Dah", but for some reason, I can't say it.
I can only say "Fus Ro", yet it seems to have the same amount of power as "Fus Ro Dah"
Anyone else experience this?

Anyway, Skyrim's been a lot of fun, as has Crysis 2 and Crackdown 2. I am so glad GameStop was having that b2g1 sale on used games. :3

I've been planning to RP with someone. But I swear something happens every time we make plans. One of us is always unavailable.
So, I figured maybe someone else could join me for my first RP.
