previous owners used plywood to board of a small overhang of the kitchen, and used stakes to hold it. Some animal pryed it back. So had to use real deck boards to enclose it...

It involves going under the deck where it's muddy.
With an impact driver.

It's all properly boarded up now.

As halloween comes to an end, already got my first snow north of the city.

Cleaning off cars and slippery roads, be careful out there.

Time to find the snow gear to ensure a dry and warm winter

after doing all the yard work and winterizing around the house, chopping grasses, mulching leaves. (And leave blower/vac) I have a Sunday free.

Halloween night watched some old horror movies. rosemary's baby and the bad seed.

It's definitely a strange time this year to be having a birthday and yet still stuck at home,
With nothing open and the delivery services cut back. It rather crappy

Perfect Timing. About to unwind and have a weekend to play and the game froze up last night.
I gave it a reset by holding down the power button and then it booted to an orange screen. I reset that too and now its dead.

best part is nintendo doesnt have a support email (just phone / agents online )

In all my years of nintendo products this is a first that a new cconsole (1-2yrs old) died so suddenly

My Wii died near the end of its life just before the wiiU (sent that for repair and lost all my saves )
My game cube died just before the wii came out. (replaced laser)

the NES ,SNES,N64's ,ggamecube WiiU all running great

so now Im switchless

Its Day 10 of my work from home stint and looks to be another 2weeks of this.

Its quite hard to stay focused and have a routine. and not leaving the house or going out much.

The weekends tend to blur into weekdays and I didnt even know it was friday.

I try and limit my exposure to computers as being on one all day for work is really blurring the lines between home / work.

With FE cancelled, I ended up commisioning a few pieces of art. So might as well do more furry things in that regard.
Just a few thoughts at the end of week2

its quite the disappointment that the con is cancelled however its a decision that was not made lightly. the whole corvid event in Toronto has had many big time cons and shows cancelled. it was only a matter of time.

I hope there is a FE later or even next year. I support the con and all the work it took for planning it.

I guess that means we need more Fur events in toronto

Im also setting my sights on Canfurence

but first I'll have to cancel my hotel reservations

Yes im one of those guys who waited to get my license. well my G2 was expiring this year and figured I should get it over with. Got my G on the first try.

I used to live in an area better served by transit, so driving wasn't a big deal until I moved out in the burbs.

its finally here, the weekend of camping out in the lakes of north Ontario.

its been eons since ive gone camping so it will be quite a treat. Thursday-Monday in nature , on a lake reachable via canoe. I have no real plans asides to disconnect and enjoy the environment.

weather should be good. though I am not looking forward to the short portage.

some times I feel I over packed.

I'll leave this great tid bit of information:

Everyone knows "the cake is a lie" though the reason why it seems to exist (from portal) is that Gabe 's favourite game was Mario64. At the very end Mario is promised a cake. It was part of the reason he was invited to the kingdom. Mario never did get that cake.

its been a while and have been wanting one for a while. the first year launch titles weren't much special since it was already on the wiiU but now the titles are looking great.

Been really enjoying Starlink-Atlas myself. has a good gameplay feel to it.

My my what a blast.

First time driving to the con as I normally take the GO etc with a bundle of bags.
it certainly made it easier.

Got there at 2PM on the friday and sorted out the room / room mates

Spent the Evening with Dinner at St Lawrence Market and a trek to the supply store LCBO.
once we had returned it was Board games and meeting up with a good buddy and his mate.
Got to try on a Partial and then proceeded to sneak up on my Mate and then my friend. their reactions were priceless.

Attended the horrid fan fiction panel (I still can't believe what I heard ) and the pup primer


Saturday morning was busy as other circumstance had me out till noon. then finally got to the dealers den /marketplace which was doubled this year.
Picked up a nice Bandanimals and commissioned a badge .

Dinner of a swisschalet and then off to the black eagle to see what the event was about.


By the time we got back it was 10ish. having some wind down time before a fun hang out a few hours later.
having too much fun the time flew by.

Glad i had a chance to meet a whole bunch of you.

The sunday was usually a write off between the foul breakfast of Timhortons and the packing / cleaning . barely got to the con floor

Rooming with a Tiger and my Fox, along with a few others.

It has been a nice journey , playing thru a game that usually stopped before the second disc. a world so wonderfully crafted. a story so well written, linking back to chronotrigger. questions answered , new ones raised.

I would recommend this game to any RPG fantasy lover. its sci fi , its fantasy , time traveling and many choices .

Looking to expand my arsenal of power tools:

I have just procured a drill press and am looking for more:

tools I have:

-Mitre saw
-table saw
-Drill press
-cordless lithium drill
-electric planer

I think a real planer would rock (so nice pieces of wood can be joined )
though a joiner tool would be effective as well

though maybe a router table for cutting channels in planks.

It was so nice to have a light dusting of snow on the 24th. I typically celebrate xmas then (european tradition)

It has been nice to get some time away from work. just relaxing. Though I do think I have some sort of get together each day .

I didnt go boxingday shopping, nor did I need to.

I actually spend the last few days playing console games , PS1 , PS2

Been really into Chronocross . Play it if you never had.

What an amazing game that held up with gameplay and story. a fun dark noire shootem up game . 17 years old. released just after the hype of the matrix.
Bullet time, breaking the 4th wall, the dream sequences, dialogue. all superb.

texture havent aged well but the interactivity of doors, pop machines, sleezy massage beds. all perfect.

my favourite was NPC dialog "Max payne is gonna bust thru this door any minute and gun us down" which is what I had to do
