So yup, you guessed it- this sailor is now of the legal drinking age. Just bought my first drink and am loving it. 100 points to whoever can guess what I got :D (It's not beer or hard liquor)

So yeah, just gonna sit back and sip on these, maybe watch a movie. But tomorrow I'm gonna go out and par-tay! Peace out, yo.

So all of these pics I'm mass-uploading have been sitting in a folder on my desktop for long enough so...here they are. Love adding to my ever-expanding gallery. Anyways, I had a pretty enjoyable day. I finally managed to download a couple of Jonathan Coulton's albums. I've been meaning to for a while now; I absolutely love his stuff. Also went to see The Dictator and Battleship today- both awesome. The Dictator was pretty racist/sexist/all-around-offensive and that's what made it hilarious. Sorry sensitive people- if you don't like it, don't go. Battleship was more of a FK YEAH movie. It hit home (quite literally) since it was filmed out of Pearl Harbor using ships from our fleet. It was so weird seeing places on the big screen that are right down the street and I go to every day. Special effects were top notch- lots of explosions and guns.

On another note, this little project here is for the webcomic TwoKinds. Great story and characters- it's one of my favorite webcomics. Pledge a bit (or a lot...whatevs) if you can- lots of perks. Plus you'll be supporting a fellow artist trying to make a living hehe.

One more thing- I'm moving the Kiriban to 100 watchers. It'll be more convenient that way (for reasons known only to me) :D

Geez, this is an expensive habit... I mean, I loooove getting new art but at $50-$90 apiece it drains your wallet pretty damn quick. But you say, "Why don't you just get something less expensive? Dumbass..." That's the other half of my bad habit- if I'm gonna get a commission, I wanna go all out. My poor bank account ;u;
I might have to take a break so I can set aside some money to actually take advantage of the stuff here in Oahu. I feel like a tard- I've been here almost a year and I've barely done ANYTHING. Gotta make a schedule or something of things I need to do before I transfer... Any ideas??

I really haven't been making good use of my journals and I regret that cuz everyone needs someplace to just write little blurbs every now and then. Of course, the only interesting things that happen to me are "work-related" and therein classified (I tell u, I keel u) but I'll TRY to post something every now and then :p
On a different note, I'm planning on doing this Kiriban thing a lot of users do... Just heard about it recently and I thought it was pretty cool. For those of you unfamiliar with the term, it is pretty much just a woohoo at the reaching of a goal, namely the number of watchers or pageviews. In this case, I'll be paying for a commission for one person (or a couple) when I reach 50 watchers or 1000 pageviews, whichever comes first. Cuz everyone loves free stuff, right?! The artist will be announced later as well as more details, what kind, blah blah, etc etc...

EEEEEE!! I'm actually going to a convention for the first time! And it's an anime con to boot :D
In two weeks I'll be rubbing elbows with otaku (not necessarily the most enjoyable experience ~.~) and- get this -Johnny Yong Bosch :DDD
For those of you not acquainted with seiyuus or English voice actors, Mr. Bosch has supplied in numerous (and I mean NUMEROUS) video games and anime. He's probably most well known for his role of Ichigo Kurosaki in Bleach. Vic Mignogna is also gonna be there- the VA who played Edward Elric in the Fullmetal Alchemist series. Not that I'm into Dragonball but the guy who did the voice of Vegeta is gonna be there too. I get to eat dinner with em and do autographs and pics and the whole shebang. Not to mention all the souvenirs to buy; good thing I get paid the day before! :3 I'm actually taking leave that Friday just so I can go all three days- gotta make the most of it right??
