I'm primarily a mobile user and the FB format and even Instagram are my preferred mediums I update regularly.

I still update my art sites but they're no longer the location I will upload WIPs or random musings. Plus, if you wanted to chat with me, its a better opportunity to get ahold of me because I'd be carrying you around in my pocket :)

With that said, I feel I need to put down some rules. Should you want to randomly chat with me, bear in mind my own life happens and so does work. I may only have the time to read what u wrote but not yet to respond.

Don't be whiny about how you suck at art (yes, people do have that mentality).

Do not question why I'm taking so long to respond back to you.

Please keep your personal life private. I'm not available to provide emotional support. I am that person at work and at home and for a select few of penpals I chat with regularly. Im exhausted by then and don't want to come onto my artpage and keep doing it :(

Don't ask for freebies

Do not advertise your art directly onto my wall. If u want to show me something, pm me please.

Don't ask for tutorials. I have a basic artdoll tutorial and I can almost garuntee that all other inquiries can be googled. But if you did your own research and still can't find your answer, ask me. I may have a link I can give you.

The Do's:

Do ask questions if you see something I'm doing that you're curious about.

Do share techniques onto my wall so that others can see (like tutorials)

If you think you found a cool material to use, share onto the wall so others can see it too.

You're free to make subject suggestions. I never get offended if you are excited at the idea of me creating a certain subject. I will however shoot down fanart every time.

Q. Does it have to be in color?
A. Your entry does not have to be in color, but bare in mind that you're competing with other artists that are using color. So if you firmly believe your black-and-white art is strong, fell free to submit un-colored pieces.

Q. Can we submit a written entry?
A. Yes you may, here are the genres that interest me: Thriller, Horror, Survival.

Q. Will you extend the deadline?
A. No, I never extend deadlines. Its unfair to those that meet my deadlines. The only time an extension is allowed is if for some balls-aweful reason the website you post on is down and you're unable to communicate with me in any other way.

Q. If we entered in a previous contest of yours, can we enter this new one?
A. YES! even if you were a winner in my last contest, feel free to enter this new one.

Q. Does my entry have to include your characters?
A. NOOOOOoooooooo. I leave these contests open for you folks in order to avoid stifling your creativity. That doesn't mean you can't use your characters however, but please try to ensure that its not too niche of an artwork and ask yourself this, will your character resonate with me? Because I'm still your main audience.

Q. Why wouldn't the prizes be ready to ship in time for Xmas? I'd love to gift it or get it in time for the holidays.
A. Due to the nature of the holiday season between Thanksgiving and Xmas, I too am busy PLUS the dolls aren't even made yet. I'm still a one-zombie-show :)

Just giving the formal notice that my commissions are now closed. I have a very hectic and busy year in the near future coming down the pipe so i am doing my best to clear my work load so that I can focus on life stuff and personal art development. I do not know when I will be able to open commissions again. It could be years, who knows lol. But don't worry, pre-made artdolls will still be available for purchase :D The holidays are around the corner so I will be filling my Etsy shop for the holiday shopping.

Hi folks! I finished my four day convention selling at the AA! I certainly found a better crowd to sell my artwork to. I think I'll be dropping out of selling at Oddmall altogether from here on out.

So, now i'm home and can refocus on commissions once again. Exciting! Something new to do for me lol.

Commissions are closed. Drawing commissions are closed forever. I do not know when I'll be re-opening drawing commissions.

The only Etsy commissions I'll accept are for kitsune pocket guardian customs. Nothing more intricate.

Myself and  kamakru will be selling at Kumori Con, Portland OR this coming weekend. There we'll have lots of prints and I'll be selling my stock of dolls plus a limited run of Amaterasu mini art dolls. It should be a very busy four days! Hope to see some of you there. Should certainly stop by our table to introduce yourself. I love meeting fellow art enthusiasts :3

Once the Kumori Con weekend is wrapped up, I will be closing commissions till further notice. I need to finish my current batch and from here one out will be perusing some personal art development. Its that time again where I feel stagnant and need to expand and just do whatever :D

pre-made art dolls and OOAKs will still be available to be purchased on my Etsy shop, the only difference is that I will no longer be accepting Etsy commissions from here on out unless its something small like a Pocket Guardian. So yes, though I'm closing my commissions pretty much indefinitely, the little Pocket Guardians will still be available for commission.

Art trades will be available on a case by case basis. I think art trades will be a nice opportunity to flex my creativity without feeling so pressured like a commission can come off as. So if you think you'd like to do an art trade with me, please don't be too shy to ask. Just respect the fact that I prefer to trade similar mediums. So 3D art for 3D art and 2D art for 2D art.

A friend of mine had the misfortune of being victim of :devtoxicmutagen: through Etsy. :devtoxicmutagen: already has a bad reputation among the adoptable community but now they've extended their activities with tangeible goods and guess what they just learned? Its easy to get something for free.

This is important to anybody who sells artwork online be it through dA or even Etsy.

I've noticed that Etsy, in particular, is a breeding ground full of deadbeat buyers and piece of shit scammers ripping people off. Trying to sell your artwork is hard already, last thing an artist needs is having their money stolen too. I will always apprise people if theres an individual worth ignoring/blocking when they come knocking at your door.

My AB article has been approved. Thank you people for giving me feedback. Its a big decision to make considering its someones reputation on the line and my money still continues to be held hostage XD

EDIT: It really sounds like, by opinion, that I have a legit concern to submit to AB. When I do, I will link you to my article as I have alot of you fellow ArtDoll buyers on my watch list and you should know who you are getting involved with when you drop hundreds of dollars. This is an additional reason why my friends and I opened the  ArtDollCritique group. People shouldn't be kept in the dark especially if they're making these investments.

have any of you written an artist beware entry? if so, when is it legitimate? Is it when you can't settle the dispute with the artist and had to get a third party involved? I'm disappointingly close to having to submit an entry and I really hoped it'd never have to come to that :( Whats worse, I do not want my concerns to be rejected as my experiences is worth notifying other potential buyers who make art purchases and want to know for sure where their hundreds of dollars are going.

I've been highly inactive on here. Works been keeping me busy and the weather has been too hot in my studio to cope with. I've since fixed that issue that was keeping me from enjoying my studio space.

I'm working on a new pre-made doll that I hope to post on Etsy later this month and am working on a new craft that is completely up my alley. I bought my how-to e-book so I can get the bare bones down before I start creating new methods on my own. I hope it is successful, this e-book has been sitting on my laptop since Jan! LOL.

Pet news: Our bearded dragon has been such a great adoption to our family. She has free roam often and thats how I like it. Its good when a pet can get lots of exercise and interaction time with the hoomans.
