Posted 11 years agoFirst things first. I want to thank all of you who reached out to me over my father's recent and sudden (extremely unexpected) passing with your kind and supportive messages.
I am sort of back at work but not until next week. Which means, I am terribly broke and have no money to pay for my upcoming bills. So in the next 4 days I am going to open quick commissions (once I find my stylus and flash drive that went missing during the move back to moms).
I will be doing quick sketches and quick ports. If you are interested please let me know and help spread the word out. I'm in need of about 200+ dollars due to the inability to work these last few weeks. Anyone who is interested is much appreciated. Thank you.

Posted 12 years agoOkay, fix on the computer, for now anyway. Haha, but I am back! I just returned home from Montana for my best friend's wedding. It was beautiful! I cried during my toast and ended up having to cut it super short. lol.. I caught the bouquet! lol Anyway...cramming 8 people into a vehicle on an 11 hour car ride full of wedding stuff and luggage for the trip and trips to Japan for those who went...wow. Crammmmmmmmed. But it was fun, and I love those people, so being squished together was fine. We just all slept on each other cozily. lol Anyway...be expecting art in the next fews days for those I owe!! :> Love you all! Thank you for all the patience for the last few months.

Posted 12 years agoWell..I made it to the last cut guys. Passed the first interview...than the personality test and IQ evaluation when it comes to banking and such the likes...Now I'm onto the last interview for this job. So close. I told one of my leads today, only because I actually have respect for her and she feels the same I do about said current job. Not only that...she respects me enough to keep on the low until I know if I've got the job or not.

Okay not really. So I've been really busy with my current job. Thing they don't is I'm trying to find work elsewhere and have been called in for a really great job opportunity that would have me working 40 hours a week and hit me up with some awesome benefits. That is something I really need. BENEFITS.
Anyway, there is probably only a small handful of people I've actually talked about my current work situation with, and it's disastrous. It's so stressful, that I will come home weeping occasionally. I'm so worn out all the time and I shouldn't even have to be with the type of job that it is. There is so much drama amongst certain people that it sets a very negative work environment, it just starts leaking all over the place.
I'm making it a goal and changing a lot of things recently. Making better friends. Types that support you in what you. It's very relieving. I want to thank my most recent friends too, I'm sure some of you would know who are you. I hope you do anyway. New RP buddies with too interesting of stories. Oh god, who would have known. haha. Thank you.
Anyway, this new job inquires my time from 9-5 I believe and that is Monday through Friday. So I will be doing commissioning work only on weekends from that point if I got this job. There shall be an actual schedule. ;A; omg

Posted 12 years agoSorry for the slow pace. Lots happened over the last two days, I over-stressed and ended up coming down a cold due to it and the lack of sleep it caused me. My mom is flying into town tonight too, on top of that a wedding and birthday to attend this weekend. While I'm not working...I'll try to get as much sleep as possible to over come this cold. I don't want to half-ass any of your guys' art. ;3;

I also want to thank everyone who's been really supportive of me and who have been very encouraging. I'm starting to feel even closer with you guys since we're getting to talk more often.
I'm going to try and get an upgrade on my join.me so that more people can join, I know it's frustrating that it's only allowing 10 at max now. So, when I've racked up enough funds, I will upgrade!
ALSO on a big note...I've saved up enough for my flight and my hotels in Japan. Now all that's needed is my food and my spending money. ;> Thank you everyone! Thank you thank you thank you.. OMG THANK YOU. Commissions have been very helpful! I'm still working on my last batch, but I should be opening again shortly.
After I've finished this batch, I will be starting a raffle as well, where each ticket is $1 and you are not limited to 1. The prize will be a full body, line art with full color drawing. It can have up to two people in it. I will give you numbers for each ticket and after the raffle ends, I will be rolling some of my D's live to come up with the results.

Last night..
Posted 12 years agoSorry about last night guys and thank you. After an anxiety attack and going to the ER...I am on antibiotics to deal with the issue for the next week. I will get to those quick sketches I owe from last night too for those who have paid. Those of you last night...thank you so much for your support and understanding, especially right in the middle of a stream.

Posted 12 years agoSo if you ever wonder why I do commission once in a while when I'm trying to save...It's because when I see other artists that I admire or have respect for that are in need of it, I always get a strong urge to want to help - having been in similar or such situations at times myself. I have lengths of time to raise money and people generally need it faster/sooner. I'm going to start pimping people's commissions too.
Anyway, off to the doc's!

Posted 12 years agoFigured I should update..still working on current commissions...but am in between taking $2 on the spot quick sketches during stream.
Uhm, other than that, stress and nerves and I'll get into that possibly by Thursday evening/Friday evening. However, I'm going to go about everything as best as I possibly can. I wanted to really extend my thanks to those of you lately who have been commissioning and sitting with me during streams. It helps.
My Birthday went very well, and I wanted to thank everyone for all the well wishes, etc. I really have some great friends around now, tbh. One is even moving in with me at the end of the week. It didn't use to be like this and I'm more than thankful. Kindness and gifts used to be pretty abused and it's not that way with this group. We all add something to the group and are always supporting and helping whether it be food, money, treats with one another. So I believe that makes me more than fortunate despite what certain circumstances have come up recently in life. Even though they can't see this journal, I want to thank them to...and I do and tell them I love them on a daily basis. lol
I want to thank all my commissioners and watchers too! You guys help me push myself to try and get better at art. Thank you Thank you Thank you You guys, ARE. AMAZING.
NOW...I need to also write up a speech, and I have until November, but I am HORRIBLE with speeches. But as the Maid of Honor, I cannot fail. I want it to be...moving? Yeah. haha

Posted 12 years agoSo, tomorrow is my birthday, but I have to work the night shift so I will be around. Since I work the night shift, I will more than likely be doing a streaming session of commissions or just doodling, we'll see how it goes.
Uhmmm...also I wanted to apologize with how slow I'm being with commissions. I used to put them out like .. bam bam bam. With work and medical issues I'm being a little slow. I'm so sorry guys.
