I'm really fucking sick today, can't seem to stop throwing up, I can't eat or drink anything. I felt really horrible yesterday but I powered through it but today I don't think I can. I've also been getting really dizzy and really faint lately.
Sorry everyone but I can't work on commissions and owed work until I get over whatever I have.
Does anyone have any advice about how to get rid of this?
Or alteast not completely fucking crash?

I refuse to lose my electric and my only ability to talk to my fiance and friends and the only source of money because my mother can't get her priorities straight.

These will be single character due to the fact I am not confident in my skill level to do multiple characters in one picture.
However, if you commission me for two singular portraits of the same/different character it will only be an extra $5 for the second picture.
I am confident in drawing canines, felines, equines, dragons, avian wings, simple clothing, simple patterns, cocks, chubby body types and skinny body types. So if you commission me, I am better drawing these things.
I am not very good at dragon dragon/bat wings, rhinos, hippos, elephants, muscular body types, hooves and vaginas. However, this doesn't mean I won't try.
I will NOT do multicharacter shots, Adult work, complicated armor, clothing, or markings, fetish work, Backgrounds or overly muscular characters.

Posted 12 years agoWhen I finally open up commissions I want everyone to know that I WILL NOT BE DOING MULTI-CHARACTER ADULT WORK, I honestly don't want to be known for those sort of things and also my artistic level isn't currently good enough to do them. I will be doing single character pinups or single character adult work.
I will probably open up commissions that I am comfortable doing.
I don't want to take on commissions that will be too hard for me and the customer being very disappointed in my work. ; - ;
Anyway, I will probably open up commissions very soon and my fiance, dusk-runner, will be helping me get things started.

Posted 12 years agoI've been reading a bunch of posts by a blog called 'artist-confessions' on tumblr and I started to realize I am not the only one who feels certain ways. In all honesty, there are more than just a few posts that I can relate to and it makes me feel a lot better that I am not the only one who feels this way. I actually have felt a bit inspired to write some confessions myself. So, I guess here it goes.
✶ More times than not I feel terrible about myself because I see artists draw what they think the 'perfect' body type is. I hate my body, I am not a size 0, as much as I do get compliments on my appearance I just don't feel at all pretty. I LOVE seeing artists draw a variety of body types and faces, artists like raichul for example show that the 'barbie' look isn't always sexy. It's the same with men too, not all of you guys have to look like a damn skater/rockstar. My fiance isn't skinny and he doesn't have a six pack and he is the most attractive man in the world to me. My friends all have different sizes and looks and to me they are all beautiful/handsome in some way.
✶ When I find a female artist that looks pretty and attractive, I immediately get jealous and feel terrible. I hate that I do that but my insecurities make me feel like I should look like that. I know it also isn't fair to that person, especially when they are sweethearts and don't deserve any bad feelings towards them.
✶ It aggravates me when artists apologize for their feelings, language they speak or commission prices. They cannot help the first two and you don't need to feel sorry for being sad or not speaking English, people should understand and as for the commission prices, yes, sometimes I believe people are waaay overpriced, like $40 for a sketch is a bit too much in my opinion BUT if that is what they think it's worth and people are paying them then why apologize?
✶ When artists apologize for drawing their fetishes I feel bad for them, Why is it such an issue if someone gets aroused by a certain thing? I have some very odd kinks and I wish some of the artists I watched had the same confidence I do when it comes to expressing them. One of the artists I watch says she's embarrassed to post those works still even though that account was created for THAT purpose. Don't be afraid to draw what YOU like. Don't conform yourself like that. It's not fair to you and if people have a problem with it, they can go find some other work to jerk off to.
✶ LONG. DISTANCE. RELATIONSHIPS. This subject is what pisses me off the most, Just because it is a long distance relationship, doesn't mean they will never work out. My fiance is in New Zealand, I am in Florida. We've only hit one rough patch be we worked through it, yes, LDR's can be harder to keep due to that distance but it's worth the time and the effort. Just because someone's partner is out of state/country doesn't mean they will cheat or betray that love in anyway. I hate seeing people get told that their relationship wont work because of distance, race, sexuality or number of partners. Yes, you have the right to your own opinion but don't put couples down just because they don't adhere to the normal relationship standards. I am a firm believer in true love and the ability to work through things like that, so it irks me seeing people do that to other couples.
Okay, I think I will end this journal now. Because GOD IT'S LONG.. but yeah.. here are my opinions on some things.. WOO.
Now if you dont agree with what I said then okay, I am not forcing you to believe or agree with any of this. This is just my opinion and feelings on these subjects. <3
