So yeah, IMVU bought FA, and as such I will be kind of leaving. I won't be commenting, making journals, etc anymore, but I'll still be here until IMVU bans porn.

So here's the thing guys, one company doesn't acquire a website because they don't want anything out of it. Dragoneer and IMVU can say until they're blue in the face that nothing is going to change, but companies don't acquire things to not change them.

Don't believe me, well okay. Just remember, this is not a merger or a partnership, this is an acquisition.

Here are a few examples of such.

Anyway, the point is, in the real world, companies don't make acquisition without reason, they don't just give money to aging, disgusting websites without wanting something in return. Sure, they're saying nothing is going to change, but if they told dragoneer straight up that they had a 3 year plan to convert this site into IMVU's backend image hosting, do you think he would have said yes...?

So, why am I writing this journal? A few reasons.

1. People making fun of those that are leaving FA? Get off your damn high horse. Doing that helps nothing and no one. Especially since this is a far more legitimate reason to jump ship than ever before.

2. I will no longer be contributing to this website in any shape, form, or fashion beyond this journal. So if you want my comments, favorites, etc? Open shop somewhere else.

3. People complaining that they don't have an audience elsewhere? Again, with the acquisition thing, there's now a chance FA will flat out be shut down. IMVU can do whatever they want, and the fact remains it's possible. You can link to a new site now and retain some of your audience, or risk losing all of it when you don't give people time to migrate.

4. I also admit that, as well as the chance everything will go to hell, there's a chance this acquisition WILL actually help FA improve. And unlike most of the people blindly defending FA for this horrible transaction, I will gladly eat my words if this turns out to be a good thing. I am human, I make mistakes.

So, awhile back I played this, but then caught wind of a North America version being released, and decided to wait for that to come out.

2 years later, and there's little/no news about it, so it's safe to assume it got canned because Sega hates money.

There's an English version...available for 6 countries in Asia that don't actually speak English.

So I'm tired of waiting and rememered it existed, and so I'm back to playing on the Japanese servers using an English patch.

Anyone else play or want to play/need help signing up? (The Japanese captcha can be a bitch, but I've failed so many times I can kick it out really quick :P )

Not last MFF, but the one before, I bought stickers from someone in the dealers/artist area. (can't remember which)
I love them to death, especially the LuxrayLuxio one, but as you can see there are extreme signs of wear/discoloration.
The problem is, I can't remember who I got these from to try to get replacements xD;
Does anyone recognize this style?
I /think/ I got them from the same booth, but i'm not 100% sure on that.
