Yep, I'm going to look into streaming games again.
This time though I'm going to be streaming various games from my childhood that shaped in part what kind of games I've come to love.
A handful of them may be two player, so i may look into setting up an online session and pulling someone else to play as well. I know the technology to do such is there, i fiddled with it awhile back with Forest but my internet sucked at the time.

I've always had the problem of super stressing over mistakes, and I've always been really hard on myself about them.

So, server switching is going active in ff14.
I know several people that play this, and /none of you/ are on the same server.
If you're reading this, it's probably cause I pointed you at it.

So, I've had several people as me this, and my answer has been "Cause I said I would last year"
And honestly, that was true, I did. But I couldn't remember why.
I just kept asking myself last night, why am I even doing this?
I could simply say I did it and not, if I wanted to simply say I did it.
But I remember why now now.
Appreciation.

Do you appreciate the food you eat? That might sound like a silly question, but I know a few years ago I didn't.
Roughly 3 years ago, I suddenly started having allergic reactions to wheat.
I had just got a new job, everything was swell, and after one trip to a fast food place I frequent, I suddenly felt like hell.
Boss sent me home, and I was in bed for 3 days.
Came back to work, and the same thing happened again.
It then hit me what the problem was, as my dad had been diagnosed with it about 6 months prior.

For the next month or so, I hardly ate anything.
I was afraid to eat anything.
I lost weight at a very unhealthy pace.
Things that you would think would be fine, weren't.
I was constantly getting sick, or in fear of getting sick.
It was hell, and there were several points where I literally thought I was going to die.
However, I slowly learned more things I could have, and I greatly appreciated every damn one.

So, what does this have to do with the meatless week I'm doing?
Nearly all of my dishes as of now contain meat, and as time has gone on, I've grown complacent, that great appreciation I once had has faded.
In doing this week without it? You better believe I'll appreciate the fact I'm not allergic to meat that much more.
(and yes, it's possible to be allergic to meat. I know someone who can't have red meat. And I hope it never happens to me)

Yesterday I made meatless chili, and that should last me a few days XP

I'm thinking of getting a new computer, but instead of just buying a whole thing, I'm just going to buy the three pieces I haven't updated since getting my current machine 4-5 years ago.

Granted, i think these days the last two tend to be packaged together, but whatever.
Point being, looking for suggestions.
I'd prefer something AMD so it'll play nice with my current graphics card, but that is getting semi-close to needing replacement too, so I'm not against getting a new one of those as well.

So yeah, new building was added, had to tweak a few things, but the extension now supports it.
Either force an update (turn on developer mode and click "update extensions now") or wait for it to auto update (chrome does it every so often on it's own).

So, there's two major changes in the coding of the extension. They are as follows:

1. The biggest thing that bothered me when using this extension is every. single. time. you bought a new building, you'd have to reclick the cookie in the url bar to get the efficiency ratings again. This is no longer the case. You click it once, and the numbers will change themselves on their own until you refresh the web page.

2. GOLDEN COOKIES. So these things are super helpful, but due to the way they fade in and out, they don't exactly grab your peripheral vision like a sudden change does. I've now added a slight ding noise to go off every time one of them appears. This starts the moment you click the cookie in the url bar. At the moment, this can not be turned off (with the exception of reloading the page), but I'm going to be working on such an ability next (think an options page.)

So, the person I've been rooming with has been super stressed out/busy lately (working 60-80 hour weeks), and hasn't had time to find other people to fill the slots.

I was suggested it by  Virgilfox and holy crap, it's freaking intense XD

Because it's just something that's been on my mind, and I wanted to get it out there.

So, I've been thinking a lot about stuff, because I can.
Mainly lately, Nin has grown into more and more of a pred character, where historically he's been more of a switch.
As of now, Nin is now a pred only character.

Now, why this change? I thought about it for awhile and it's more or less because of what Nin represents to me.
Nin was born from a part of my own image, and the best way I can word it, is he's my strength.
My ego, my will, my...whatever. I can't think of a perfect word/term/emotion for it.

The point is, within the past few years I've grown and changed as a person.
What Nin represents to me is something I'm no longer comfortable playing a prey role with.
There have even been times where it makes me sick to my stomach thinking about it.

So what does this mean? Well, not much other than Nin's no longer edible.
I'll probably be introducing a few other characters I've got in mind for when a prey mood strikes me.
Because yes, the mood does still strike me, the problem is it doesn't ever strike me pertaining to Nin.

I have a handful of characters that I've had in mind/written in personal stories for quite some time. It's just, I never had or saw the need to ever use them. Nin was kind of a character that fit into every role I'd need.
Since this is becoming less and less true, I'll be slowly introducing other characters.

Yes this is more of a ramble than a thought out journal but WHATEVER.
