A small update
Posted 2 years agoYou may have noticed I did some tidying up and refreshing of my profile... this is to reflect that Deckard is now my main fursona. Annoyingly FA has no way of changing user names so I'm stuck with NitraxFox on that one, though I have added Deckard as a subtitle.
Furthermore, I am questioning whether to keep Deckard as male, or have them more representative of me by making them non-binary or leaning towards the more feminine side. Yes, this reflects the fact that I'm questioning my own gender identity more now; I have never felt truly comfortable identifying as fully cis male, nor being in male-dominated or male-oriented situations, it just didn't feel right.
Either way, hope you all enjoy the new look, and let me know your thoughts on having Deckard as female / NB!

2022 Update
Posted 3 years agoWell, it's well overdue that I create an update on my barely-used Furaffinity journal, eh? The past year's been pretty crazy for me both in regards to meets as well as personal life.
For a start, none of the conventions I posted about last year happened. Things were still messed up, but fortunately this year they seem to be getting better - I have just returned after attending ScotiaCon 2022, and what a con that was! Easily the best time I had in my life (so far), met a healthy mix of new as well as familiar peeps there.
In terms of personal life I now have a more stable source of income to fund my furry adventures, and am looking further afield for meets in particular. I have already attended LondonFurs and Barkade last year; this year I look to return to both, as well as attend BrumFurs for the first time.
As for cons for the remainder of the year, I unfortunately will NOT be attending ConFuzzled 2022. This is for a mixture of personal and logistical reasons. International conventions are also off the table. I will, however, be returning to Furcation late this year - with all the lessons learned from my previous experience I shall make this experience the best I can!

2021 - Tentative plans
Posted 4 years agoWell 2020 has certainly been a year, hasn't it? Been almost a year since I last showed up at a meet or convention, hopefully things get better soon. That being said, pending any further world events, I anticipate attending the following if they run:
Furcation 2021 (dates TBC) - Not sure if it will run this year, but since it is typically towards the tail end I have some hope.
Scotiacon 2021 (3rd-5th September 2021) - This is a tricky one but one I really want to do - Having grown up in the West of Scotland it would be nice to head back almost 10 years since I last was there, not to mention with a keen interest in tow! That being said, finances really look tight and I'm not sure if it will be possible for me to do, but I'm not giving up just yet!
Regarding meets, I intend to regular the Bristol ones once they start again, and possibly attend Barkade, LondonFurs and/or BrumFurs as a one off if time and money allows.
All of the above, of course, is subject to change given we're still in the midst of a global pandemic. Hope to see ya fluffs in person again soon!

Conventions I'll attend in 2020
Posted 5 years agoIt's been an awesome start to the new year, despite some rocky months beforehand for me. That being said, I am pleased to announce which cons I'll be attending this year:
JFTW 2020 (20th-23rd April 2020, Bristol, UK) - Thanks to a local friend, I will be there all of the main days!
Furcation 2020 (6th - 9th November 2020, Brean, near Weston-Super-Mare, UK) - Plan to revisit this year, 2019 was a real learning experience for me. Hope to have more fun this time.
Unfortunately, I will *NOT* be attending Confuzzled this year, primarily due to financial constraints. I also have no plans to attend any international conventions either - Sorry!
