School and other updates!

I guess it's been a while since Ive used my journal for any official updates, but I wanted to let you all know about the cool things going on in my life atm!
To start off, Ive gone back to taking night classes at a local visual arts college (Gnomon). Ive wanted to take classes there for a while, and although I cant afford a full degree or certificate program, I can still take a few individual courses with the money Ive been saving up for the past 5 years. Because of that Ive also narrowed down what I want to learn and the specific classes I want to take, things like figure drawing (which Im currently taking), digital painting, some sculpting and stylization classes, and more. It's honestly already been worth it as Ive learned that Im a more capable artist than I even knew and it's given me a lot of confidence that I feel like I lost during the pandemic. So expect to see more figure drawing practice stuff showing up in my Scraps. And a lot more 2d work over the next year!
Next is what is going on with my Figure work! I essentially put everything on hold while I was going back to school. I overloaded myself by taking 2 classes at once on top of my full time job, and a lot of different life events happening. It hasn't been fun lol, but is finally lightening up, which will give me time to work on some of the back burner projects I have sitting on my shelves.
To name a few I have,
- A new set of Lucky Lioness figures coming out. They've been printed and are being sanded and surfaced slowly.
- A few Piggy Banks. I will be making about 5 more of these. They were my first project and need a lot of processing because of that. So this may be the last batch till I can go back and fix them up a bit.
-Finishing my Chloe Milk Maid Model which is available on cults3d, but I haven't had a chance to sit down and paint the printed model I have completed. Im very excited to work on her.
-My River Noodle Model Which is finally in the test print phase and has had a successful print, she just needs a little refinement and will be ready for painting and a 3d print file release.
- My Dragon Bust Model, which I wanted to design to light up, but it's taking a while to get the engineering right, so this may be on my back burner for a minute.
-My Legoshie Model, which I was hoping to have done by now for the release of the final Beastars season, but wound up going to school instead. xD
Plus more ideas Ive been coming up with but haven't had the proper time to manage or finish. Kind of the woe of an artist working full time in a field outside their passion, but perhaps the stars will eventually align and I will get to focus on this more without interference.
Oh! Also!
Im on Blue Sky now! Which I get it, why join ANOTHER social media site. Well, because X(twitter) started feeling to manipulative. They kept not promoting content even if I paid, they kept acting like I was loosing followers when I wasn't, and the bots were out of control. Plus the whole Musk/Right Wing America bs, and saying he "owns" our content. Its just bad and getting worse. So while I may repost stuff there for a little while longer, I definitely am no longer "active" there. I will be pushing my focus to being back here on FA, e621, and now Bluesky.
That's about it as far as updates from me. I hope your holidays have been or are going well and you are well as well. xD

The Furry Sleepover Live Stream is the 22nd!

There is still time to submit content to the Furry Sleepover Live-stream!
When is the Sleepover? This Saturday July 22nd from 11am to 4pm (SLT/PST).
What is the Sleepover? A live stream event held about 4 times a year where we showcase art and videos submitted to us by the community!
What is allowed? Anything but RL porn haha. Seriously though we take 2D, 3D, VR Chat, Second Life, photos or videos and play them to a live audience, they can also range from SFW to NSFW.
Where to submit? Check out the official details in our Google Doc -->Here<--!
We also have a full stream hang out that happens in SL as well. We release the location of the hangout the day of on Twitter!
Do you make things that you sell in SL? We have Vendor slots available!! Just contact me here or on discord to snag one before this Friday the 21st!

This is What Happened to Xvideos
Posted 2 years agoFor those who have noticed, all of my content on Xvideos has been removed. According to their admin team, this is due to new (non publicly announced I might add) TOS changes to their website that now considers furry content both ANIMAL/ALIEN and is no longer allowed on their site. Now you may notice that if you go to their website you can indeed still find furry content and I don't know what to say to that. This is what their team has told me in an email thread I have with them. Maybe those videos weren't labeled, or they just haven't gotten to them yet, or who knows. The long short of it is I will no longer be hosting my content there. For those of you who would like to see the videos I hosted there, some of my personal ones are still on Xhamster and the rest are on Twitter, just not the Sleepover Watch Party Videos, for those I have a dropbox with past shows archived. I know this is a bummer, but honestly its a huge sigh of relief for me. I never made any money off of these sites and having to jump through their multiple, everchanging hoops is tiring. On top of that, my focus has switched from my SL Video work to my Sculpting, 3D printing, and digital work, so I don't really mind. I will continue to make work and showcase it the best I can. <3
