General | Posted 15 years agoSo I thought it was about time I posted another journal XD. Currently sitting here with Ari, while she draws, so I may as well post one hehe.
So, what's going on in the land of Nix you may or may not ask? Well as per usual, my work is failing hardcore in the pants XD. They're striving for this new personal record profit for the financial year, so they're using and abusing staff more than usual. Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays have now been cut down to one person and a manager to close up, rather than 2 and a manager.. apparently one person is supposed to do the work off 2 people in the same amount of time, without getting paid extra for staying longer if needed... go figure.. They are full of failcakes, yet no matter how much shit I have to deal with from there, and feel as if I want to ragequit, I still find I love it therel... or love to hate it, either one :P.
Though the shit I'm dealing with at work is making me question things about my life.. I know I'm not overly old, but I feel as if I'm going nowhere at the moment, and that I wont be going anywhere anytime soon. I'm not exactly going up any further in my workplace (they're bumping up their favourite little teenagers that stand around and talk all day, over me who actually does work, even though they leave me in charge all the time... fail). I feel like I should be studying or something at Uni, but I have no idea what to study lol. I guess 20 isn't really that old to be saying I've wasted my life though :P.
I got a call from my dad the other day as well (at 7:30am >.> I was so out of it), telling me my grandfather on my dad's side had passed on during the night.. I've been hearing that he's gonna go at any moment, and then all of a sudden is better again for quite a while now, so I've kinda gone through the grieving process already over it, but still yeah. The funeral is next monday, and my brother and father are coming down from New South Wales for it. I can only imagine now the shit that's going to go down meeting up with all the family. I was already abused on Christmas Day for not inviting them to the engagement party.. which brings me to something on quite a happier note.
Me and Firey have started planning our wedding :3 and I have my wonderful best friend Ari as my Maid of Honour :D I'm a little excited XD. Of course me and Firey arent having the big traditional wedding... and having a rave party of sorts for the reception :P Oh yeah XD. I've already chosen out the dress Ari and my other bridesmaid (non-fur lol) are gonna wear for it :D
Hopefully by the stage of my wedding I actually have my licence back >.> I finally got around to booking a lesson with a driving instructor to start getting my licence back... then I had to cancel it when I realised that my Learners had actually expired.. I went to the placey place to renew it, and have been told that I need to redo the L's test now completely. If they expect me to redo the 50 hours and 6 months on my L's someone will get hurt XD And if that's the case, then that will also ruin my plans of driving to MiDFur in December with my boy, Ari and Fala (possibly heading over with another car of people from SA :P). Hopefully this is not the case, also, as we are hoping to get a new car before MiDFur too (a 2009/2010 Holden Cruze :D). But at this stage, unsure on what's gonna happen with all of that, and it all depends on how much money we end of saving up and such before then :)

General | Posted 15 years agoSorry to post somewhat of a pissed off journal, after not posting in a long time lol, but I've gotta get this off my chest, and there isn't many places I could post this without it getting back to a certain something *cough fucked up work cough*.
I wont mention my place of work (even though some of you know but meh XD) but pretty much last Sunday, we received a customer complaint (apparently its a bad one, but we dont know the details yet >.>) so of course my work decides rather than putting the effort in to try and find the person who did it before taking action, they decide to pull everyone in who worked on that day for a Formal and Documented Counselling Session.. aka everyone who was on is getting yelled at for it, and getting a black mark put against our name, just because we were rostered on...
So on one of two of my days off, I have to take a 40 minute bus to work tonight, to be yelled at for something I may well have not even done, have it put against my name that I had done something wrong, and then take a 40 minute bus back home (or 2 buses that take 50 minute) all because my work is fucked. This isnt all my fucked up work does.. the amount of time me and the other girls there have worked, unpaid, because they have these retarded expectations that 2 girls can clean an entire store in an hour (when in actual fact it takes more like 1.5-2 depending on our effort and how busy it was) with the excuse that it should only take an hour, and if it takes longer, then it must be our own fault for talking or some bullshit.
Along with intimidation of young teenage girls to come in and clean the store one night, unpaid, with the threats of shift cuts and counselling sessions if you dont turn up... fuckers. Some of you know, most of you dont, but back in December last year, I had an interview for a position for Supervisor as such.. after them telling my I should apply for it, and that when the managers talked about who could do the job and my name came up, I went for it. I had the interview 2 days after I got back from MiDFur expecting it to go well... only to be told that I "Dont have the personality for it" and how they would watch me for a few weeks to see if I could do the job... 5 months later I'm pretty much doing the job and running the shifts coz the managers are fuckwits, and just leave the store all the time.. yet me and the other 2 girls who applied for the job have still been told nothing about it, and I'm still getting paid shit. I'm on the edge right now.. I'm torn between loving the place and the girls there, and wanting to destroy it with my face, getting a new job and then killing the managers off one by one XD. This is one of the times where I'd prefer it destroyed though lol.
Ok so enough on my fucked up job lol, on a happier note, we had Arinaca's 20th birthday party at our house last Saturday X3. SHe doesnt turn 20 for another 3 weeks, but with a million other people having birthdays in May, and Ari heading off to America in May, we decided early party was better... even if it was late notice hehe. And as all our parties tend to include.. Firey was fire spinning again XD and managed to burn himself, the silly dragon <3.
And as some may have seen in my pictures, I have a new baby <3 His name is Jynx, and is a 10 month old black kitteh :D. We went to the local RSPCA and adopted him about 2 weeks ago. We were originally going to get a kitten, but there werent many there, and most of them looked like my other cat Scout, so I didnt want to get another one the same. He turned out to be the perfect kitty (when he isnt stealing fish XD) so we brought him home, and he's been acting like he owns the place ever since lol.

General | Posted 16 years agoThought I may as well do a journal entry thingy seeing as I haven't done one in forever and I'm bored xD.
Seems that for the past few weeks all I've been doing its packing, moving and working xD. Finally it's over.. for now until me and Firey have to move again into our own place. The place we are moving to wont be available for a little while so we're camping at my mum's house xD The house is filled with all of our stuff now, at least the house isn't tiny though xD.
So yes, I'm bored, and I made baby cakes, which is bad coz I'm now eating them xD. Though I think it may be sleepy time now.

General | Posted 16 years agoSo yeah.. I'm engaged.. to my Dragon.. Firey <3. Been living with him since early January and have been engaged for a month or 2. It's been fun trying to organise the engagement party.. likely to be shit if my dad's side of the family find out there's going to be a party and they aren't invited lol. Then again some of them probably don't even know I'm engaged yet hehe. So yes, engaged, happy and craving Boost Juice (once again.. I swear working there is evil lol).

General | Posted 17 years agoOnly 4 days now until I fly over to Melbourne with Ari :D And MiDFur X in 6 days :D I cant wait, so I thought I'd do a journal about to it help pass some time so I can get to Melbourne already xD Cant wait to catch up with lots of furs, and furs I met at RADFur (Kaz, Dandy, Kraden and Jen :D) Still have no idea what I need to bring with me though... Need to think on that more, which should be easier seeing as I have no work this weekend and only work 3 hours on Tuesday (thought it was monday until I checked the date properly :S) So yeah.... I cant wait... and theres currently some random talking to me on msn about clubs and strawberry ice cream, could be interesting.. xD. So yeah... MELBOURNE!!! :P
