I've been absent for awhile.

Do forgive me, especially those of you who have tried to contact me. I've been going through a lot these past few months. I haven't forgotten about any of you, I'm sorry if you've felt ignored. I don't mean to come across that way.

Along with the puppy, there's a lot of ... internal things I've been repairing and seeking. The art has seemed to almost cease to exist in my thoughts, until well, tonight. Perhaps I'll be creating more.
I find this community really absurd you know.

Hello everyone,

Those of you who enjoy looking at my art may have noticed I haven't been uploading as much. WELL! I just got a new puppy!! ... Unfortunately I'm horribly allergic to cats, even Sphynx cats so the kitty dream is gone. -sighs- I just got an Akita and he's been quite the handful. His name is Han, and I love him to death, he's quite beautiful.

A lot has been going on, and those who have been following me for a bit already know I'm extremely bipolar when it comes to artwork. I still feel quite pressured to upload art onto here, and that isn't me at all; so I've decided to slow my pace down and just share with you what feels right.

Things will eventually pick up for me, and I look forward to sharing my newest works of art with you all.

Hello all of my wonderful watchers,

Throughout my time on FA I've met a lot of friends and created a lot of art, but I've always felt like something has been missing in my artwork. It's more of an insecurity I suppose, all I do is draw everything that comes to mind and I upload it, but I'm wondering if ... it's good enough? ... Yeah, it's silly to think this way, of course my art is good enough. It's just I have such crazy emotions, I always have, and everything I feel i let down on paper the moment I feel it.

I know I shouldn't compare myself to other artists, it's just I've never posted online on the internet before. As an artist I know we all want to be accepted and recognized, but I can't help but wonder if ... yes, dare I say it, my artwork is ... boring you all?

Silly, I know.

It's just I see so many artists draw such intricate things, and only post those, and I happen to post everything ... deep down inside I'm wondering if this is straying people away from my art ... I don't know, it's ... odd.

I never thought I'd be writing something like this, it probably doesn't even make much sense. This is all just so new to me, I don't know what people want, I'm not even sure if I'm trying to please others. I'm just trying to find myself and who I am as a person, and a lot of this just overwhelms me sometimes.

I even got a wonderful commission a day ago which I'm so excited about, and very grateful, but things are just so all over the place for me.

I shouldn't even feel the need to explain myself, but my art is all over the place. I am all over the place.

I'm south east north west left right downwards upwards and 23 degrees to the south of nowhere all at the same time. That's how I feel.

Nonetheless, thank you everyone for watching, commenting, and adding my artwork to your favorites. I don't plan on leaving FA anytime soon, I'm just going to ask, what more do you want to see from me? Or do you all really enjoy how sporadic and bipolar my art is?

I've been kind of taking some time to myself, finding out who i am, simply sketching whatever comes out of my soul... being the true angry artist i am within, aha.

I'll get to it eventually, just when the time is right, unfortunately there are moods when I am like that, but when I am ready to paint, everything comes out so much better.

Some of you may know, or perhaps not, but this "Nixom" is not just a character to me. To me, they are my soul, I did not design them this way, it's just what happened the moment i began to really draw and not put much thought into it.

So I've ... been forcing myself a bit to draw them ... me ... more, mainly just out of the fact I keep refusing. Denial, something, what not, I'm not sure what it is.

Wow.

It's been about a month since I've joined FA, and I've already met so many wonderful friends, what a journey it's been.

I've always been very insecure with my artwork, especially accepting myself as a furry, but being here on FA has been one of the warmest, most comfortable, enjoyable experiences I've ever had. It's all thanks to you, my watchers.

This is the first time I've ever really posted my artwork online, and used copic markers. I've always terrified showing it off because I tend to be a bit angry, and uh ... I usually burn art after.
