Happy Birthday to Me
Posted 13 years ago23 years old and being every bit the obnoxious internet user and telling everyone else about it.
Ministream!
Posted 13 years agoJust having a short go at writing something that
Stampy helped me come up with. Probably won't be very long.

Livestreaming Again
Posted 13 years agoI really like doing these, don't I?
Anyway, I'm going to be doing some more writing in roughly 2 hours, that's 4 o'clock (1600 hours) Eastern Standard Time. All I ask is that, if you show up, please be respectful of other people in the chat and bring plenty of ideas; though it's still my discretion about what gets picked.

LiveStream Part 2
Posted 13 years agohttp://www.livestream.com/saintabsol
Last time was so much fun that I decided to try again. Same rules still apply, and requests about macros and/or silliness go to the top of the stack. Just stop by and we'll see what we can do.

I'm going to be trying to do this writing thing now, seeing if it's even feasible for me to do it. I'm going to writing in Google docs; so there will be a link to the doc itself in the stream if you want to read along while I''m writing somewhere down the line.
I'm going to be picking the ideas that appeal to me, so I apologize if your idea doesn't make it in. Emphasis will be placed on silly things.

Toying With An Idea...
Posted 14 years agoOkay, this is going to sound stupid, but hear me out.
I've always had a problem with money: I never have any. So, after talking with several online friends, they eventually suggested something that I liked the sound of, but didn't know if it would work; so, I ask my watchers and anyone else who reads these things: If I opened commissions for stories, would anyone be interested in buying one?

Another Writing Session
Posted 14 years agoSince my first time doing this was actually pretty successful; I'm going to try this again. But with a bit of a twist over my usual style. I usually write about Macro or Growth related things, this time, it's about Pokemon (well, pokemorphs, but let's not split hairs) and fantasy. Not really my first time working with pokemorphs, but I've never really tried to write, in depth, about Fantasy or the like. So, yeah, just don't come if it doesn't sound appealing to you; and just click on the other viewers thing in the upper right hand corner of the document if you want to talk to the others.

Trying Something New
Posted 14 years agoOkay; this is something of a weird thing, even for me. I've been watching a lot of Livestreams; and, since I'm too cheep to get my own, I'm going to do a poor man's version. In Google Docs, you can invite people to watch you write; and, since I have no talent for visual art, I'd only ever use a Livestream for writing anyway. It's basically a win-win without the hassle of setting up anything; if you want to comment on the thing, just click the thing that says '# other viewers' and you'll get a little chatbox.
Anyway, go here if you want to watch: https://docs.google.com/document/d/.....E&hl=en_US
And it's Macro Furry stuff; just ignore this if it doesn't appeal to you.

Happy Birthday to Me
Posted 14 years agoI know I should have posted this earlier in the day, but I've just been enjoying myself too much and it slipped my mind. But yeah, today's my birthday; 22 years on this earth, I didn't even think I'd make it 20 :p.
Thanks For 50 Watches
Posted 14 years agoI recent got my 50th watch on FA; and, as someone with little self-esteem and very unrefined talent, this actually made an impression on me. It's a very far cry from the several hundred watches that a lot of people on here have, but it's still something. And I'll take whatever I can right now.
So thank you, thank you everyone so very much for considering me good enough to track in his work.

Month of Drawing Over
Posted 14 years agoI really should have done this a couple of days ago; but yeah, I've done my 31 drawings for the month of May and now I'm pulling back on the quantity. But yeah, thanks for butting up my 'art' for this long; hope some of you at least liked the results.
Ideas
Posted 14 years agoThe thing is, I'm running out of them for my self-imposed challenge; so I'm putting the request to you, my watchers, to help me decide what to draw. Now; there ARE a few rules: No adult or smut art; I don't have any experience with them, and can't really say I'm comfortable drawing them yet. Also; not EVERY request I get will be drawn. These are still my drawings, and I'm still not that good an artist, so I simply can't do some things yet.
That's really it, I really appreciate your help.

Get ready for a bunch of crummy drawings
Posted 14 years agoStarting May first, I'm going to do a sort of self-imposed challenge on myself where I attempt to complete one sketch a day for the entire month. Just giving all my watchers a fair warning to expect a ton of my terrible attempts at art so that they don't hate me as much for it.
I'm going to lose a lot of Watchers for saying this.
Posted 15 years agoBut I support Cub.
Hate me all you want, as I know several you now do, but it's damn well true. Art is not something that hurts anyone; you may not like what it shows, but there's a very simple solution for that: DON'T LOOK AT IT!!!
But nope; it's so much easier to tell everyone to just get the hell out of your sight and take all their drawings with them. You know what; you're jackasses; all of you that support this are a bunch of jackasses, and I don't mean your fursonas. Let's ban all pictures that involve hypnosis next, thanks to the rape connotations; then lets jut get rid of the water sports category, cause that squicks people too; then lets ban Hyper since it makes people feel inadequate. Might as well ban Macro related pictures too, since they're all about genocidal psychos!
HELL! Let's just ban furry in general since it's goddamn BESTIALITY!
Hate all you want, cause the feel is mutual.

Why Are So Many People Watching Me?!!!??!
Posted 15 years agoSeriously; I have 16 watchers right now. I'm not good, not talented and not worth your time; what are you watching me?
Alpha and Omega
Posted 15 years agoSo; I watched Alpha and Omega today.
I really didn't go in with high expectations, seeing as how studios rarely put any effort into 'family' films; I was expecting to see some cheesy lines and more than my fair share of toilet humor. The beginning didn't really fill me with confidence that I'd spent my money well either. However, once it got underway and the main plot was started off, I found myself liking the movie more and more, excepting the occasional scene that just felt like it was tacked on of course. The ending was fairly nice as well; nothing too special, but still fairly good.
All in all, I enjoyed the movie. If you're on the fence about it, I'd go see it; just don't expect it to be the next blockbuster. It's a harmless and enjoyable movie once you get into it and the characters are fairly likable, even the couples(yes, it's more than just Kate and Humphrey) manage to be cute.
Give it a chance; it's not cinematic gold, but it's still a good movie.

How Do I Help a Role-Playing Forum Succed?
Posted 15 years agoSome of you might know that I have tried my hand at running a Role-playing forum a few times in the past; with dismal results. Now, however, I have made one that I and very happy with and would love to see active; the only problem: no one is joining. All the active or semi-active members I've gathered are people that I know from other sites or friends of their's; I've placed more ads than I can keep track of, have a respectible number of affiliates for such a young board and ask around for potential members, none of it is working!
I don't want this site to die; but I'm honestly out of ideas. If any of you have any experiance with making/running/promoting a site; please, help me out.

Merry Christmas
Posted 16 years agoJust as simple as the title would imply. I just want to wish each and every one of my fellow furries a very Merry Christmas and a joyous New Year full of new oportunities for you all.
Role-playing
Posted 16 years agoNope, sorry; I haven't gotten a fursuit to wear. This is just me trying to pitch my new forum to anyone that happens to see my page; so, here's the advert.
You’ve seen the stories; set in some far off year, when the world has ended and there’s some sort of oppressive force bearing down on the last remnants of humanity. It’s always set some hundreds, even thousands, of years into the future. That’s a lot of time to have passed; and, yet, the centuries in between are lucky to be just glanced over. What happens during those years? What is the world like right after the end as opposed to eons later?
Welcome to the year 2045, 33 years after the release of a supervirus that caused death of over 65% of the world’s total population. The new world is in shambles; fighting is a fact of life, law is a fleeting memory, and government has degraded into following whomever you think is a good idea. As if the monumental loss of human life wasn’t bad enough, those that survived the viral infection have been ‘altered’ giving humans abilities that could turn anyone into a demigod. Meaning that just about everyone can level a building if they get pissed off enough.
And the hits just keep on coming; a strange, outside party, has entered the world with an agenda that no human seems to know. These creatures, called ‘Rifts’ by the humans, will tear apart any creature that crosses their paths and are capturing the budding colonies that humanity has managed to put together.
Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to Hell on Earth; welcome to ‘The Need to Survive.’
