I feel dissapointed that this, along with Pokemon Quest, get to be the first pokemon games on the switch, not including Pokken since that's a port.

The main reason why I don't like it just by the trailer is because it's essentially a remake of Pokemon Gen 1 with Pokemon Go elements packed in. I know it has pokemon following you and all that as well as customizable Pikachu and Eevee plus ridable pokemon, and it looks cute, but if that's really all that's new, then it really isn't a decent start for Pokemon Switch, especially since there's no implication of other generations to it. Plus we've been to Kanto a good few times and pandered to Gen 1 and payed image to it so many times. It's too early for a Gen 8, but at least show us like a Gen 4 remake, like everyone has been asking and theorising

So... How was your day?

Since Im not posting as often as i hoped i would be on here, i think the better choice is me making a Discord Server dedicated to me posting artwork as well as potentially interacting more with you guys. Mind you, i wont be deleting stuff on this account, I just think its more optimal for me to post on a place im on daily. So should i do this or no? Now, I'm going to say this upfront, I like the idea, I don't LOVE it per se, but I will consider buying it to try it out.

Now before you call me an idiot for wanting to buy Nintendo Cardboard, I'll explain why I think it's a great idea.

You have to consider the fact that it's a kids toy and it can be used for more than just a "Glorified controller". If you payed attention, you would know that the Labo utilizes the IR sensor on the bottom of the right Joycon, which we haven't seen being utilized other than once in 1 2 Switch. Due to the fact that it's marketed towards kids and some adults, and if you payed attention once again, the Labo can be used to teach how to build the controllers, show how the IR sensor is used, etc. You also need to remember that we thought the Switch would fail upon first seeing it, guess how it is now, so I think we should give the Labo a fair chance before immediately stating that it's just Cardboard.

It also seems like some people forget that Nintendo is also a toy company, and they pulled this type of thing before with Amiibos, the Z Ring toy for Sun and Moon, etc, because they're just plastic toys, but we all find value in those, so why not the Labo?

Bringing the argument that "it's just Cardboard" or "I don't want to play this" is valid only to yourself since it's not your thing, which I get, I'm like this with almost every FPS game, I played it, I didn't like it, but I can see the value in the genre since it's so widespread and people like it a lot.

If you want to give your own argument/opinion about the Labo, comment down below. Though I'm not going to accept "It's just cardboard", "I don't want a glorified controller" or even "I don't want to play this" Or anything similar to that since it undermines the other things it could potentially do and that you have complete control whether you buy it or not.

We start off with a general cliché in HiE fanfics by Daniel waking up in the Ponyville hospital, because many HiE fanfics start off that way or the MC gets there early on.

Daniel opens his eyes to see the worst designed hospital, at the sides of the rooms having green window sheets and Daniel being covered with a pink sheet. Now I said worst designed because White and very white colors is basically what you need to easily identify if someone is bleeding or something, same with windows blinds as light won't make the room look like a full on color, it's a hindrance to have different colors other than the White and close to white colors.

He sees that he's hooked up to what you usually see, a heart beat monitor, iv fluid packs and all that, also being covered in bandages. He also realized that he wasn't in his clothes, saying that it was an invasion of privacy... Are you fucking kidding me, he's saying he shouldnt have been stripped to be operated and healed. Okay, how were they supposed to operate on you with your clothes in the way? This is like what an anime girl would do to some guy trying to save her, calling him a pervert immediately with no questions when he's proforming mouth to mouth.

He was about to lay back until a certain someone, take a guess of who it is mates... The most overused nurse pony in HiE fanfics mates, Nurse Redheart herself! Come on man, be original, make one up or use any others other than her, despite her being my fave design. Anyways, she stated that everyone was worried that he wouldn't wake up due to him being in a coma for 2 whole days. With the injuries that he got, he would have been in there for probably more than two days imo. But if they pull the healing magic reasoning, I can't rag on that, it IS magic after all, but I'm sure the soreness would be there, makes it a tad more realistic IMO. And side note, no nurse wears high heels in hospitals, impractical much?

He is shocked that he was out for that long, but he's more shaken up by the fact that his stuff was taken away, asking her where his stuff it and with her saying that it's safe with them. The next part right here is... Just wow

'I didn't know whether to threaten her to give me my stuff back, or just wait until I'm out. I wanted to get my sword and my belongings back, but...something deep in me was telling me to wait patiently for the time being.'

Just... Wow, seriously? Do I need to say what's wrong with this? Well I will, because threatening the hospital won't give you a good image, it would make you look violent, so the fact that he thought this as an option is just dumb. I mean yea, that stuff is the only stuff you had, and that sword is priceless, but hospitals are normally trusted enough to keep your stuff safe. You could ask politely to get your stuff back, maybe your phone or something, but threatening wouldn't garner anything other than a bad image.

Anyways, he says to not take anything nor look through his stuff, she agrees and all then she asks some questions. First being his name, Daniel Blaze, which she says is a wonderful name... Really? It's not weird in any way to you? Usually it is in these. And now... Another part that really irks me. She asks if he was some sort of furless pony for medical reasons, and he's like 'They really need to get it through their head I'm not a furless pony.' I'm not kidding, this is stupid because she's the first pony to ask this, he's straight up assuming that every pony would know that he is a human.

He says that he is and she is pretty surprised by that, understandably, and he's annoyed, but he quickly forgives her after she apologized. He asks what happened and it's revealed that the girls and Pipsqueak, especially Pipsqueak, made visits to check how he was doing.

And speak of the devil, Pipsqueak comes in with... Fucking roses? If you bring roses to someone in the hospital, that either means ya love them or they died, if that's the case, bring him myosotis flowers or something. Pipsqueak, seeing Daniel is OK, drops the flowers and tackle hugs him. That would cause lots of pain for someone in Daniel's situation, but hey, it's a kid, so I can't blame him for being happy and worried. Daniel could have told Pip to lessen his hugging g grip, but deciding to be cool, he fights through it to not hurt the kid's feelings.

After a bit of hugging and some tears, they break the hug finally. How are they this close despite them only knowing each other for one day so far? Anywho, Nurse Redheart says that Twilight and her friends wanna see him, but Daniel doesn't know if he has the courage to talk to them again after what happened, I mean, he DID act like a total idiot, but so did they... Well, Rainbow Dash specifically

Anywho, Pipsqueak convinces Daniel to let them see him, and they exchange a few words. And Pipsqueak doesn't sound 8-9 years old at all IMO. Pip agreed that what Rainbow did was bad despite her intentions, and Daniel was happy he and the kid thought alike. Anyways, Pip thanks Daniel before Redheart comes in with the 6 girls, taking Pip away so Daniel can talk to the girls.

An awkward 30 seconds of silence happens before Twilight asks how he was doing, and Daniel just responds with a "Fine" before falling silent again. She says that she's sorry that she and her friends attacked him because they never seen him before, now, I need to interject here because this is a major flaw with the situation, Fluttershy, Pinkie and Rarity didn't even do anything to harm him, so the fact that the three who didn't do anything to him are needed to be forgiven for being innocent is just terrible, Daniel is mad at those three for zero reason.

Twilight asks that he gives them a second chance, and Daniel just gives it to them because his mom told him to give everyone a second chance because everyone does. Well, that doesn't mean that he forgave them.

And after so long, Pinkie Pie does something and says something finally... And it's to scream Yay and give him a bone crushing hug, causing Daniel pain and Twilight yelling at Pinkie to get off, which she does... Now I'm going to give a review of their introductions when it happens.

Twilight thanks him and introduces herself fully now. Her introduction is pretty standard here, but being the smartest, she was pretty stupid during their first interaction, she just came in and saw Rainbow attacking some creature and the creature fighting back in an able manor and even speaking, she doesn't break up the fight and try to asses the situation since it was intelligent and could speak, instead, she immediately attacks him.

Now Applejack introduces herself, and every word of dialogue here is just... People trying to sound out her accent, this is annoying because sometimes I can't understand what she's saying, like I'm is Ah'm, it just looks dumb, just say she has a farm accent and type normally. Now she's in the same boat with Twilight, though she actually hurt him, she's the same as Twilight, seeing rainbow getting attacked but not trying to stop the fight like a normal person. Anywho, she says she works in a farm called Sweet Apple Acres.

Next is Pinkie Pie with... Every time she introduces herself, she's up in your face and talking super fast, which is annoying. "Hiimpinkiepieiwanttowelcomeyoutoourtownponyvilledoyoulovepartiesilovepartiesheckwhodoesntlovepartieswhenifirstsawyouiwasgaaaspishouldthrowapartyforyouandthentwilihgtwas-mmmmpppphhh." Before she gets interrupted by Twilight. Every introduction in HiEs has her acting so fucking dumbly, I mean, yea, Pinkie Pie is known to be pretty silly, but make her act different, like less psycho and just really nice and excited,

Next is Fluttershy... Goddamnit, every time she's introduced in these, she acts like a total wuss, like she can't speak, she hides, she's ultra nervous, come the fuck on, make her slightly nervous, don't make her stutter every time or something, it's like she didn't learn how to interact with anyone for the past few seasons. Twilight says her name is Fluttershy, and he says "That's a very beautiful name. It's nice to meet you Fluttershy." It's not beautiful Daniel, just say it's fitting or something.

Next is Rarity, and her introduction here is standard enough, at least she didn't compliment on his sense of style straight up so far, that would be stupid. She says she owns the Carousel Boutique, though she doesn't say what it is or what she does, so that was pointless. Hers is the better one IMO with her introducing herself and thanks

And lastly there's Rainbow Dash. Her apology was actually good, apologing for attacking him and all that. Now how Daniel should have responded was that it would take time to forgive her completely due to her having harmed him multiple times, but instead he forgives her this time. After that, she flies up in the small room, and I should ask why, and she boasts that she is the best and most awesome flyier in Equestria... Goddamnit, can we have a more modest Dash, like please? It's always her saying she's the greatest despite that not being actually true, wtf, why always do this.

After their introductions, he says that he is human, shocking them all. Twilight simply looks at Applejack and says her name, Applejack responding by saying he's telling the truth... How can she tell? Just because she's the element of honesty doesn't mean she's an instant lie detector, just come on. I mean if the elements gave them some sort of magical abilities, yea, that would be cool, but it's not said nor implied.

Twilight recovers from her shock and gets pretty excited before calming down, explaining that humans are simply a simple pony tale. Daniel also explaining that anthro ponies and dragons don't exist in his world. She asks if he could tell her all he knew, but Applejack suggests that they do that after Daniel recovers.

Red Heart comes in and tells that they can come see him tomorrow morning. Rarity was the last to leave after she says that she took the liberty to clean his clothes and... compliments him on his fashion style, for fuck sakes, every single Hie fic has her doing a something like that. So after leaving him, Daniel has an internal monologue. Even though he liked it there so far, he was wondering if he should stay here or return home to Earth, where he belongs... Which doesn't make sense since he only suffered there in recent years.

He then falls asleep... And holy fuck this chapter was long and one massive train wreck.

Part one of this review explains of how he saves Pipsqueak from certain doom and his first interaction with Ponyville, part two explains of Daniel's second interaction, part three is the Manticore fight and this one is the hospital and meet n greet. My thoughts... This is the worst chapter so far since the logic of the reasoning is just dumb, and the execution of many things was just bad. The length itself is a problem, it's pointlessly long and it could have been split in multiple chapters, but doing so just makes a long ass chapter with so many flaws in one sitting that it would turn away readers normally. But hey, it's my opinion, so what do I know. One of the comments was also a review on the Manticore fight, the comment is made by Pinkie_Keen, so you can find it, but some guy replied with this.... And it's the funniest thing ever.

well let me debunk your ENTIRE RANT about this story in one fell swoop.

Just because something is fiction doesn't excuse the fact of the flaws, in addition, the writer needs to know the limitations and reality of their main character. Because the fact that Daniel knows how to do this makes you question how the hell he was bullies, but it's fiction, so that makes this opinion pointless.... NOT.

But yea, that was my 4 part review of chapter 2, give your full thoughts in the comments on either my review or the chapter itself if you read it yourself. Anyways, Imma take a break before I read Chapter 3, I need a break after 14 thousand words.

So we switch back to Daniel's POV again... Okay, I have to say this now, these POV switches are happening more often than they should, I mean, it would be easier if you sticked with one single POV or just go 3rd POV, it's an annoying problem that plagues this chapter, bit as you know, this isn't even the biggest problem of the fanfic, we'll get to that.

Anywho, Daniel has been gone for a day now, with those injuries... And recovering slowly. He stated that as long as he keeps breathing, he won't stop fighting, spoken like a true edgelord. He is seeking refuge in a tree, somehow having climbed it without dying from blood loss, now looking at himself via the reflection by the Crystal part of his sword. He states that he's failed his GrandDad by being unable to fulfill the promise, aka, helping others in any way he can... Well he could by becoming the Batman of this world, but whatever.

Guess what, it's a POV switch, yaaaaaaaay, and who's turn is it this time? Twilight's turn!

It seems like the 6 mares are thinking about ways to bring him back, Applejack suggesting that they try and talk it out again, like someone normal, but Twilight also states that he'll just run, what, it happened once now it will definitely happen again?.. Knowing Daniel the Lone Wolf, he will becaus he's a badass and can handle anything by himself... I wish I was joking in some parts of this review, someone say FORESHADOWING!

Rainbow was about to suggest something before Twilight cut her off, saying it wasn't a good idea to hurt him further, but I mean... If he's gonna run away, it probably would be best to find out a way to knock his ass out and put him in hospital bed of talking won't work, but knowing Rainbow, it's beat them up. Rainbow tried to explain her reasoning, saying that he attacked them again.... Fucking excuse me, wasnt it Rainbow who blocked his path in the first place and proceeded to strike him, this making it technically them who attacked first? And wasn't she the one who attacked him when to Ponyville? Legit question, is Rainbow actually this stupid or something? Twilight says it was Rainbow's fault.

They keep thinking of what to do before Twilight thinks of something to do first... Also, I just noticed, Pinkie Pie didn't speak once in this, Fluttershy and Rarity got lines so far.

POV Switch tooooooooo Daniel!

He wakes up with his body aching, also showing that the bleeding from his coughs diminished, so he better be careful, all he could do at the moment is rest. But before he could, Twilight calls out for him, hoping he would show up, Rarity aiding in the calling as well. At the mention of Pipsqueak, Daniel almost wanted to come out, keyword, Almost. He was worried about Pip yes, but he didn't want to talk to the girls, feeling guilty about what he did... Yea, you fucking should be instead of acting stupid and 'cool' in BIG quotation marks.

He was about to move out before he hears the girls scream and sees 3 new creatures he never seen before... And he recognized them as Manticores instead of describing how they look... Or even providing an image. It makes the guy like a know it all, it won't give a sense of wonder and fear of the unknown to readers who don't know what a Manticore is, it would create a sense of wonder of the unomown. The three Manticores corner the 6 near a rock, probably going to kill them.... Even though Twilight can easily magic themselves out of that by attacking or teleportation, they instead cower in fear despite fighting a raging princess, a god of chaos, the big species and a shadow tyrant overlord that's maybe over 1000 years old.

Daniel had conflict, one part said go save them, the other said to away and leave. And suddenly GrandDad's voice came out of nowhere as a ball of light, saying "use the force Daniel." Nah I'm kidding, he says to protect them before just proofing off. Really? Orb in the sky, spirit of your grandfather talking to you, yea, that's fine, but make it more interesting rather than basically "I don't know what to do" "Save them" "Okay", like make the orb go into Daniel, giving him force, heal a bit of his wounds, do SOMETHING. But no... This fighting scene has a lot to it that just raises so many questions.

Also, just a fyi, there's a lot of 'something something in pain' and growling from the MC, I'll count how many times.

Just as one of the Manticores was about to use its tail to strike, Daniel, still very injured, slashes the tail tip off.

POV switch to Twilight

She opens her eyes and sees Daniel who saved them from certain doom. He looks back with a smile and says "Don't worry, you're all safe now." Which garners a blush from all but Rainbow... Can you say generic? The blush wasn't needed, maybe Fluttershy and Rarity because a hero saved them, but everyone else, they would look shocked, relieved, something other than BLUSHING, of all things.

Oh, also, I decided to make a guestimate at how big Manticores are compared to humans, if the average human/pony is 5'6" or so, Manticores would be 11' tall, not to mention likely 20' long with that tail, so that's fucking huge. So imagine a human with a katana fighting 3 11 foot lions with scorpion tails, that's what we're dealing with here.

So, after the girls get to safety and leave Daniel to fight, alone, without helping... How useful magic would be if the writer didn't want to make Daniel badass desirable do anything guy number 500. Anyways, the fight begins, and Manticore 1 attacks Daniel with his tail with a flurry of attacks that went so fast that it was like a blur, think of a Stand Rush from Jojo, repeated punches at high speeds, and let's say it's going at 20m/s, and Daniel dodged every single one since to him, it's all in slow motion. That's fucking fast, and thats repeated, think like 2-3 every second.

Daniel attacks the beast after dodging a swipe, breaking Manticore 1's nose, but Manticore 2 catches Daniel off guard and gives a good swipe at the chest. Now with my sizing, Daniel just got slashed by 3 finger length claws, and that would go fucking deep, and with a beast that size, that would cut bone with ease. But we aren't done as Daniel miraculously survived that, on top of having, as of now, critical blood loss, broken ribs and internal bleeding, which would have started long ago. Also, the author called this kid a Samurai... Really pushing the Japanese crap huh mate?

Anyways, Daniel suddenly launches himself at Manticore 2, so fast that he dissapear in front of everyone's eyes... If that's the case, did he suddenly go near light speed? Because to suddenly dissapear, you have to be going past like Mach 1 or even faster... Wait, if he can do this, how the fuck was he beaten by Rainbow Dash at the start of this chapter, more importantly, how couldn't he do this with those three bullies back in his world? So the Elements of Harmony can face off against a trixter God and a princess with implied celestial powers, yet they cower in fear from 3 Manticores. Daniel cant beat three human untrained bullies, can't beat one of the elements of harmony, yet can stand absolutely injured against 3 creatures over 10 times his weight and 2 times his height. That's a major problem with power scaling, and it doesn't end here as we get further into the story and last chapter 2.

Anywho, Manticore 2 gets killed by Daniel, who reappears in middair and the impact causes a dust cloud, which would take quite a bit to do, like a very tiny meteor hitting the ground type strong, assuming. He gets off the now dead creature and faces Manticores 1 and 3 now. He notices that the tip of their tails has a purple liquid dripping from it, keeping that in mind, and you should too, because this is very important.

Some fighting happens and Daniel gets hit by one of the Manticores, causing him to get knocked into a tree pretty bad, likely by a simple head but, think of a car hitting you, that results in another few broken ribs and likely one of your lungs pieced.. Alright, that's likely a fractured skull as well as broken back somewhat. His body starts to give way since he hasn't fully recovered from his injuries from the mares, well duh, it's only been a day, with what you recieved, it would take likely a couple of months to recover from one of the injuries. But he presses on because he can still fight.

The 6 girls were in awe that the injured as fuck human can fight three things off like that. Rainbow states that she wished she had guys like that... Despite her having gone head first against a dragon in one of the episodes before Season 5, and multiple other occasions too, so she has enough balls to go and fight them. Anyways, some more attacks were thrown until suddenly, one of the Manticores stabs Daniel with the tail tip in the side, but Daniel moved away fast enough to not get injected... Wait, just before you said that the tails were leaking poison, now it takes a bit to be injected? Injecting venom/poison wouldn't take that long, some may be instantaneous, so him surviving that, I call BS, as well as that likely caused his intestines or something to get pierced.

Anywho, Daniel soon kills the Manticore after having distracted it by cutting its tail, making it roar in agony pain before dying... Also, agony pain isn't a typo on my part, that's in the actual fanfic despite this supposedly being edited more than once.

This next part is just... Wow, just fucking wow, it's so bullshit that it's actually surprising and raises a good few questions.

The last Manticore rushes at Daniel, who suddenly dissapear and reappears in front of the 6 girls, surprising not just them and the monster, but me too, and he says in a calm voice as he sheaths his katana, and I kid you not, he says "Thousand Slash of the Kusanagi", and once the blade was fully inside the sheath, the Manticore was engulfed in many slashes that came from nowhere before collapsing.

This part, this fucking part really drove me up the wall. First of all, where the fuck did he learn that shit? He basically just pulled this right here off https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=T1pTQ42RQwE but with more slashes. He is a normal human with a katana, how the fuck did he just do the most generic type move you could ever do, those attacks are cool, but in this, it feels forced and just like WHAAAAAAAT? Second, and this is huge, he can take on 3 dangerous venomous creatures twice his size, yet he can't beat a single pegasus nor 3 untrained human 20 year olds. So to list things off, Daniel can move at the speed of sound, has fast ass reaction time, immense strength, unbelievable stamina and fighting spirit and to top it all off, a fucking magic samurai, all while he's simply injured, speaking to which, internal bleeding, broken ribs, likely punctured lungs, brain injury, skull fracture, broken back and God knows what else. What the hell kind of training did you grand dad give you? The fact that he can do this and still be bullied at school just shows how dumb this character is, he LET himself get beaten up despite having the abilities and powers to stop it all.

Appart from my ramblings on that... enormous bloody mess, Twilight and everyone just stared at him in shock that he did all of that crap, Twilight asking just what he is, and before he falls over from blood loss, finally, he says he's just a guy helping those in need. The mares bring him to Ponyville and get him to the HOLY HOSPITAL FINALLY. All they can do it just worry and wait.

Okay, next part is gonna finally conclude this one MEGA condensed chapter, but please, let me know your thoughts on it yourself, let's talk about if, anywho, later.

We switch to Twilight's POV, get ready to get many POV switches BTW.

They watched the unknown creature, Daniel, run back into the fotest, Twilight thinking that said unknown creature was intelligent and knew how to fight, because apparently noone was able to last so long with Rainbow Dash.

They run up to her to see if Rainbow was OK, which she was, only a bit bloody in the nose, wiping it off and just rubbing her head

Rarity points the attention towards the broken pendant, which was made of gold and had a diamond encrusted in the middle. Pinkie pie asks what is it and Rarity isn't sure herself, saying it's a pendant... Yea, apparently they can't tell what a bomb is, totally not something other than a pendant. Apparently even the great fashionista herself can really tell what a pendant is.

They open it up and it reveals a young male creature with another who looked female, care to guess who it is? Yea, the mother is as generic as she is said to be, long blond haired with blue eyes and a dress. The younger creature is obviously Daniel.

Apparently they can't tell what a mother and son is like, since they are like "Who is this female, Does this boy know her?" And all that. The creatures and ponies have similar body shapes, how can they NOT tell what this is, god dammit. They feel so stupid in this.

Anyways, Fluttershy suggests they bring Pipsqueak to the hospital, who was still sleeping somehow, actually, they say he was unconsious. So while they bring the sleeping kid to the hospital, Twilight can't take her mind off the creature they shooed off.

They soon bring the kid to the Ponyville hospital, all waiting in the waiting room. The doctor comes in and explains that Pipsqueak is just shaken up, only having a few scratches and bruises. The 6 of them walk into the room and he has a few IVs in his arm... He wasn't seriously injured, don't make him out to be, it's just cuts and bruises, as far as I know, those shouldn't garner fluids to be put in him.

The little pony wakes up and sees the 6 girls around him wanting to bang-I mean being worried about him. He asks where Daniel is, only for Rainbow to say that all they know is that they drove away a creature that carried Pipsqueak into town.

Pipsqueak exlaimed what they were thinking, Applejack states that they were saving him, but he retorts by saying that the creature, Daniel, was saving him. I can't stress enough by how stupid that was, Daniel carried a hurt kid into a town bridal style, showing no real threat, and he gets attacked by Rainbow Dash.

Anywho, Pipsqueak explains that Daniel saved him from being attacked by Timberwolves after accidentally losing his ball in the forest while playing outside.

Twilight, after realizing what they did, felt guilty. Applejack only recalled that it was Rainbow who attacked the creature first. Twilight demands why, and Rainbow responds "I...I didn't know. I thought he was gonna hurt him."

That part made me out a hand on my head and just shake my head. I already said so like 3 times, but when you see some creature like Daniel, wearing clothes, holding the boy in a non threatening manor, and with a body structure similar to yours, you shouldn't straight up attack him, I would understand something else, but for a creature like Daniel... Come on, that doesn't sound believable in the slightest.

Pipsqueak is pretty angry and says they need to find and apologize to him. The way he says it makes him sound older than he is said to be, but whatever. If a small child like him can tell girls their age to do something, they know they fucked up. They immediately go and try to find him in the forest, hoping they would forgive them for beating the shit out of them.

POV switch back to Daniel, who feels terrible after what happened, I mean, I would be too in the situation he's in. He tried to help someone yet he ended up getting kicked and beaten like some wild animal. And with his mom's momento gone, he feels like a part of him now gone, understandably.

Anyways, he's on his own and doesn't know how to get home, understandable again. He ends up in the place where he found Pipsqueak. I wouldn't listen to this casually to calm down, I would listen to ambient music or something, thats really how to de-stress, but hey, music tastes, what do I know?

He ends up in a valley and finds a big ass heart shaped Ruby, guess what it if if you've seen the show, and he keeps it with him because he believes that it would be best to return it to its rightful owner. He decided to take a seat on the ground with a rock to lay on. Dwaine Johnson was uncomfortable so he decides to lay down on the grass, when he did, he sees some lizard creature, promptly hiding behind a rock after he screamed.

The creature, sounding young, says he won't hurt Daniel, which made Daniel cautiously look around the corner, seeing the Lizard was someone we all know, Spike the Dragon.

They introduce each other, Daniel still bitter about being attacked on his first day here. Spike remarks that Daniel looks like a furless pony, which the human states that he is, in fact, a human, surprising Spike since in this world, Humans are nothing more than a myth, a made up creature. Daniel explains that where he is from, anthropomorphic ponies and lizards don't exist. Spike then explains that he is a dragon and not a lizard, surprising Daniel even more now.

Anyways, Daniel explains to Spike what happened, being engulfed by some light and ending up here, saving Pipsqueak by Timberwolves, surprising Spike, and going to Ponyville. Spike sounded excited to see if he meets Twilight, prompting Daniel to explain how he was attacked over there by 3 ponies, Rainbow 'Skittles' Dash, Applejack Cereal and Twilight 'Vampire' Sparkle. Spike was surprised and pretty mad that his friends hurt Daniel for no reason, even apologizing for what happened. Daniel stated that he didnt want to fight because he suffered enough, like the true edge lord he is. Spike asks what he means, but Daniel just pushes that topic asside, good, he isn't explaining his super tragic past.

Daniel suddenly feels a lot of pain before coughing up blood, making Spike worry. Daniel says that the wounds from the battle are finally catching up to him now that adrenaline died down... This I have a problem with because adrenaline doesn't do that, because if I had internal bleeding like Daniel, I would have felt it a fuck ton sooner, and if that's the case, why didn't it catch up to him earlier when he was listening to music or something? He was calm and adrenaline died down then.

Spike was going to bring him to Ponyville, which Daniel refuses because he was still mad. I mean, despite me being mad about what happened there, I won't turn down something to save my life, what Daniel here is doing is greatly illogical. Despite Daniel protesting, Spike says he won't let a friend die on him, and this next line just killed me

"I looked at him wide eyed. Did...he just call me...a friend? I felt an urge of warmth growing in my heart, my soul, and my very mind. All I could do was just look at him."

Dude, this isn't the second coming of Jesus or superman saving your ass. Also, friend, Spike, you only just met this guy recently, he isn't a friend, just an acquaintance, come on dude. That's Pinkie Pie logic right there.

These next lines are just funny to me with how edgy and "feel bad for me"ish they are

He smiled at me, seeming to catch onto my surprise, and said, "You're my friend Daniel, and I'll never leave you behind."

This feeling...having friends...it felt...so warm...welcoming. This was probably what I was missing within myself...having friends.

Goddamnit dude, calm your mind, you aren't friends yet. Obviously this is a way to show these two are gonna be close, but the friend part feels super forces and poorly executed, you could have at least said that Spike won't let anyone die on his watch, that would at least establish trust between him and Spike, not being insta friends.

Anyways, the 6 girls catch up to them and see Daniel injured. They try to convince him to come back, but he simply drew his sword and spat venomous remarks at them for doing what they did, mainly the 3 who attacked him. They're apologizing to him yet, he can see how sorry they are, but he's having none of that. He went so far as to say this. "You had no fucking right to attack me! I did nothing, except saved a young colts life, and this is how you and the rest of you thank me!? If so, then you and your pathetic race are heartless savages!"

Okay, fucking hell, this is where I need to step in, because fuck, this is 100% racist, I mean, yea, three of them attacked him because they assumed the worst, but when they're now trying to help him and try and make amends, he goes and splits in their face and shout downright terrible stuff. I mean, I understand being angry, but generalizing their species just after than and with them in front of you begging to be forgiven and offering to help with your injuries, you should act rationally and just go with them. I mean, stay mad all you want, but forgive them later on if you want, do what you need to survive.

Rarity walks up and says "How dare you call us heartless savages! You sir, are the most disrespectful, most-" before she was interrupted by him. I mean, she isn't wrong about him right now.

He coughs up blood again, which I'm surprised he's still standing instead of passing out. They run up to him but he still has enough to make them back off. Spike tried to talk sense into Daniel, but apparently Daniel can't think like a normal person, being a super edgelord by saying "I can't trust them. I can never trust anyone ever again."

Goddamnit how stupid can this guy be, my god.

Anywho, he goes to turn around and Rainbow Dash, being just as smart as she is, stops him. They exchange some words before Daniel gives the big Fuck you, making Rainbow elbow him in the gut, knocking him out... Oh wait no, he didn't pass out, usually that's what happens.

POV switch to Twilight, who watches Daniel fight back against Rainbow, surprised with how he can fight back against them with how injured he is.

She tried to grab him with magic, levitating him towards them, bit to their surprise, and mine, he broke free by roaring and throwing his arms out. How he do that? Anyways, he goes to attack Twilight, only to get kicked by Applejack.

She tried to convince him to come quietly or they won't go rough, but he, again, acts illogical, cutting her lasso as she tried to tie him again. Spike tried to convince logic again, but Daniel just runs off after saying that if they try again, he won't go so easy, especially to Rainbow Dash.

After Daniel runs off, Spike pretty much bashes on the girls, saying that he thought they were better than this before he leaves, leaving them alone.

So, this part right here is just full bullshit, I mean, this is after Season 4, at least after the Sombra attack on the Crystal Empire, and by the looks of it, they are far from being the representation of friendship. Did they not remember slash learn about trying to accept and help others? What happened to that? Rainbow acted out of line this whole part too, acting completely illogically as well, as well as Twilight, zero communication. Daniel also acted completely edgy and absolutely stupidly, thinking it would be better to run into the unknown instead of being helped, I mean, Yea they attacked you, but again, now they're trying to help you. God this part of the chapter hurt me to read, it was so mean spirited.

I'll split this into a third part, this is getting long.

Without further ado, let's begin everyone!

So, we begin with a dream sequence that tells of Daniel hearing screams and crying all around him and shadows running around, also showing several figures on the ground unconsious. He then heard an evil laugh in front of him, belonging to that one guy in the beginning with purple eyes, who shot a purple orb at him, and all Daniel could do was scream.

Okay, several things in this part alone, well, a single question that gets put in the back of your mind, does Daniel die in this? I'm pretty sure not cuz he is MC of the story and he can't die. A critical thing about this dream sequence is that it's so... Bland and doesn't do anything interesting with this dream sequence, this just feels like a glimpse of the future and nothing else, nothing else to it.

Daniel wakes up, feeling like someone beat him against the head with a hammer multiple times, although I'm pretty sure you would feel worse since you kinda fell through a portal and your body might have crashed into the ground. Besides that, he ends up walking update and sees he's in an unknown forest, care to guess where this is?

A. Everfree Forest
B. Some Random Forest

Keep this in mind for later. He gets up and gets his stuff, confused and hoping to get help, he yells out to see if someone would respond... Which noone does. So he decides to go into the forest and coincidentally sees a wooden wolf and some boy who's a pony Anthro. I actually gotta give props to the writer for having Daniel be a fan of Sonic, so he could tell what the boy was instead of automatically knowing what an anthro was.

Anyways, remember that thing I told you to keep in mind? Yea, MC is in the Everfree forest since we never see Timberwolves in any other place in the show, plus, in addition to saving a kid, that's another strike. Yea HIEs most of the time have the MC save one pony/a few ponies, always the kids, from Timberwolves and end up in the Everfree forest. Noone decided to do something different with the human ending up in the Everfree as far as I've read.

He save the little pony boy, who had cuts and bruises, yet he seemed to be breathing in a shallow way... Okay, cuts and bruises equals injured and passing out, good logic. I mean he did mention he may have passed out from fear, which is normal, but the shallow breathing made me think that the boy was very injured in a way.

Anywho, Daniel comes to the conclusion that he's in a different world, which is a sensible conclusion to come to after seeing what he saw, instead of being still Where am I and Where is this. The pony wakes up in Daniel's arms and is immediately frightened, even though he was just saved by this unknown creature, but hey, this is a 7-8 year old, so I can let it slide.... Wait why was he in the forest in the first place?

Daniel reasures nameless pony kid that he isn't a threat. The point is named Pipsqueak, thank God it wasn't one of the CMC or else that would be generic again, and Daniel introduces himself again before Pip falls asleep. Daniel soon comes out of the forest and ends up in a field of flowers, and in the horizon, he sees a town, guess where this i-okay it's Ponyville, that's obvious.

Daniel walks towards it and encounters a sign that says... This is funny

WELCOME TO PONYVILLE
POPULATION: 613
HOME OF THE BEARERS OF THE ELEMENTS OF HARMONY

Bearers isn't a word btw, you could have said Holders, also, that's a lot of "OF"S. But major point, this is a bad sign since if someone who wants to something bad to the EoH, they would know instantly they live there.

Next part is a kicker, when he enters town and everyone is fearful of him... Okay, just an FYI, this is far after the Crystal Empire season in the show, but it looks like the episode with Zecora didn't exist since they aren't even trying to talk to him or interact, seemingly ignoring the boy in his arms.

This part right here is fucking bad, where a rainbow blur suddenly comes in and hits Daniel, dropping Pipsqueak, which would have woken him up from being dropped, and it cause Daniel to crash into a wall. Next thing he hears is "Stay away from him you foul creature!" From Rainbow Dash herself.

Okay, several things, if I saw some unknown creature walking in town holding a boy bridal style while you're covered in the blood of Timberwolves, which is sap, I would run up in consern and ask what happened, not body slam the guy into a wall assuming he's a danger and calling him a foul creature. Also, I highly doubt Rainbow Dash would be the one to do that crap to anyone, especially another bipedal creature that looks awfully similar in structure to you. This just hurt to read from the logic.

Daniel explains that he was trying to find help, but Rainbow is all like "Nope, you're bad cuz you're different, get ready to get fucked ni-" okay I'll stop here, she doesn't say that but you get the idea, to Rainbow, different equals evil.

So instead of fighting her with your sword to intimidate her, you drop your sword and backpack to fight her hand to hand, when she has wings and can try. That's a poor choice on his part, VERY poor. I mean, he already got deckedin the face by her.

It's not bad, perfectly shows what Rainbows wearing and the fight, good job on the artist's part.

Anyways, Daniel punches her, accordingly, and she gets super pissed and says they're gonna do the hard way... Weren't you the one who just decked him twice, and that was easy? Are you kidding? You know he can speak, he's wearing clothes, yet you see him as a foul creature? This girl's logic is just bad.

Now after fighting for a bit, he realizes that his pendant is gone... Only for it to be stepped onto by Rainbow on accident. So Daniel gets pretty pissed and proceeds to just go full on Fist of the North Star on her ass, hitting all those weak points and pressure points. I mean, she did just crush his only momento of his mom, I would be fucking pissed off too.

Before he could go further, the other 5, Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rarity and Twilight come in. Applejack used her rope, and Daniel just cut the rope after grabbing his sword again.

He exclaims that he didn't mean harm before Rainbow pushed him over the edge, but it fell on deaf ears as Twilight shot a magic missile at him. Does nobody know to listen? Seriously. Anywho, Daniel slashed his sword at it and it surprisingly deflected it... That's a hint to something about the sword being special, good on that.

Applejack kicks Daniel in the face, Daniel thinking that Applejack is way stronger than Rainbow. Makes sense from being a farm girl who kicks trees for a living, HAH. That caused Daniel to drop his blade next to Rainbow, which he tries to recover, but she grabs his hand and lifts him up, spinning him around like a top and throwing him on the ground. Thinking about that makes me think of Mortal Kombat X's X-rays, all them bones cracking. Daniel is surprisingly OK for what just happened, although very weak. He recovers his sword and back, saying that he's remember this, which makes me think Eggman, before he runs off back into the forest, all bloodied and hurt.

I'll split it off here, this journal is pretty long in of itself. I'll give my full thoughts in Part two of this review of chapter 2.

Alrighty, this is my first ever fanfic review, and the first one is a beast I'll likely be reviewing quite a lot, maybe every chapter. Yes this thing has images.

Without further ado, let's get on with the story.

Now, if you see the Fimfiction one, there should already be sirens in your head just by reading the story description. The protagonist's name is... Daniel Blaze, a 18-20 year old (assuming), who lost the few people close to his heart, aka his family, and he lives a super difficult life ever since then. Now that should be a warning sign since many Human In Equestria five open up on this fact, or at least imply that, on the main character, and it's been done to death to the point where you instantly think Gary Stu, but for me, nah, I'm pretty sure you can work that into their character.... Sadly this doesn't.

Anyways, actual chapter, let's go.

We open up with the character walking down the streets of his city, and no, not England, and... Oh okay, "They all have something that I lost a long time ago…. happiness." Okay, there's something that raises alarms, but this isn't the worst part so far. Afterwords, he then introduced himself, tells us his name and what he's wearing. Red shirt, black jacket, red and black shoes, red jeans and black fingerless gloves. That right there should tell you his appearance, and just keep in mind, red and black doesnt equal Gary Stu, it's what they do that makes Daniel that. You can also see that he sports a scar from his childhood, and a pendant of his mother. That right there is something to solidify his past and his closeness to his mother, which I do like.

But, as per every trope ever, his mother dies, but not from a car crash, but from cancer, when he was just 10, poor boy. He was then taken in by his grandfather and was taught sword play, MMA, and Karate. Keep this in your mind. His grand dad died 10 years later due to being injected by a poison that's deadly to humans.

Now here's the kicker, the guy has zero friends, only living in the shadows in fucking Florida, helping others in need whenever he can, since his grandfather told him that before he died. Fuck if this was DC comics, this would be Batman number who the fuck knows.

Anyways, after that, he stated that he sees this guy with white hair, purple eyes and an evil smirk looking at Daniel before he vanishes in the crowd. Now this is also some weird dumb trope, but I can let it slide if it's done well, also, evil smirk, how can you say that's evil? Anywho, he now heads home, which used to be his grandfather's, and it's stated that he has no problem paying bills for this place due to payment being low, both with electricity and water too. I dunno much about homes, but I call BS in that.

We then heard about his sword... Oh wait, I MEAN KATANA, OF COURSE! Yea, his grand dad left Daniel Blazing It his Katana, which was made of crystal and some black material. He doesn't know what it's made of, nor does his grandfather, only the great grand dad knew the secrets. Anywho, yea, so far, red and black main character, lives in shadows, has a katana and knows Karate, has everyone in his family dead... Yep, he's hitting the 'generic' and Gary Stu tropes here.

Many people worldwide wanted the blade because apparently it's super fucking expensive and rare, someone even wanted to offer grand dad 3 million bucks for it, but he refused. From what I know, the most expensive blade is a katana that was sold for 7.7 million. Shesh, if that's the case, Daniel owns one of the top 10 most stealable items in the world.

Anywho, he watches some TV and reminisces about his time with his grand dad, going camping and all that, going to show how close his grandfather was to him. And that reminds him of taking walks on the beach with his mommy, also showing how close he hold her in his heart, and so he decides to go there himself. He packs food, water, Iphone, laptop computer, a few reading books, and decided to take his grandfather's weeb sword with him... But I thought you weren't allowed to bring that in public, what happened to that?

Anyways, he takes his walk on the beach with all he has in his bag, eating a granola bar along the way. It's now the night times and he see how edgy and sad this guy is as he looks down and cries a single tear, wondering why he still feels so empty inside. Oh I dunno, maybe it's cuz you seemingly didn't bother to get new friends and such despite all the time you had.

And now... We reach the part where everything starts to go down in this chapter, as 3 familiar faces pop up, Tom, Chuck, and Will. These three were in the same school as Daniel before Daniel got expelled. Why you ask? Well Daniel here was bullied by these guys (Yea, big shocker right there), and they were the reason why Daniel was expelled, and they weren't the only ones who bullied him, everyone fucking else did to. Is everyone so cruel or something in these fanfics or what? Anyways, they bullied him because he was a wimp and that his mom died and they say he cared about her too much, which I don't understand, his mom died when he was 10, of course it would be on his mind a lot, it's his mother, the fact that everyone bullied him is another way the author wants you to feel bad for him, not just his family dying and all. One time, the three bullies, Chuck, Will and IDFC, tried to destroy his mom's pendant, but Dianiel stopped them and beat them up using Karate. But by some miracle, only Daniel was expelled. I have so many problems with this, especially since if everyone bullied Daniel, the teachers would have noticed, and even the principle at some point maybe, and the bullies would have been take care of for a long time now. It makes the teachers sound super incompetent and just shitty. Also, by reading this, it's implied that these three targeted Daniel for who knows how long after. Since that's the case, and with how two of them act, they are sadistic.

Anywho, Daniel was tempted to beat them up, but upholding his father's teachings, he should only use his moves for self defence. And I say to that JUST KICK THEIR ASSES. If they attack for your no reason, all this time you could have beat the shit out of them with your karate skills, which would be at master skill level considering you put well over 10000 hours into them, and that would likely make them stop bullying you if they wanna risk getting hurt again. And if that doesn't work, tell the bloody police about them, wtf is wrong with you? Oh wait, everyone is just bad.

Anyways, Tom proceeds to beat Daniel up, and Daniel just takes it without even fighting back, again, HE KNOWS KARATE AND MMA. Daniel at this point is just acting like almost noone else would. He can defend himself against Tom, who is just some bully who likely doesn't know karate or some crap, so the fact that Daniel is taking it just makes him knowing MMA, Karate and his Grandfather's other teachings absolutely redundant and pointless.

Anyways, Chuck sees the sword and explains that its made of crystal and black rock. Now, I just wanna say, for all that anyone knows, that could be super brittle or something, maybe even worth nothing unless they have skills of a gem analyst or whatever those are called. Besides that, Tom states that he'll forgive Daniel for whatever and take the sword for themselves to sell it. Daniel, finally getting it, attacks the three, taking his sword back and... Just running away from them, pretty much all battered and bloody. The bullies chase him around, eventually leading Daniel to a cliff, essentially cornering him

Now Daniel Burning has 2 choices, in fact, 3, either give them the sword or get beat up. Daniel picks choice 3, drawing his sword and threatening the three, FINALLY doing something that could save his life at this point. But sadly, the bullies, specifically Tom, had a upper edge, taking out a gun.Will, being seemingly the only somewhat sane person, says that Tom was taking it too far, but in Tom's logic, he can because if Daniel has a death wish, he can easily grant it. Remind me again what logic these guys have? Anyways, here's something else that makes my eye twitch, because when the bullet was shot, Daniel dodged it just barely, implying that Daniel has sound speed reflexes and agility, but if that's the case, how was he bullies again? MMA, Karate, Sword Play and now super reflexes, yet he was still beat up and bullied.

Anyways, Tom runs up and fights Daniel Blazilen for the sword, he accidentally let's go and Daniel falls off a cliff to certain doom, only for Daniel to fall into what is implied to be a rainbow portal before he passed out, and that obviously sends him to equestria.

Tom and Will have a fight, Will being pretty pissed that Tom did that, Will stating that even though he disliked Daniel Fire Synonym, he never wanted to kill him, but by Tom's logic, he had it coming, so he could do it, and that's ass backwards logic, one that a stereotypical gangster thug would think, maybe even a sothiopath. Anyways, Chuck breaks up the fight as a police man seemingly heard the gunshot and arrived at the scene, pretty much sending the three bullies to prison...

That was chapter one, and boy what a bloody doosey it was. In summary, Daniel Blaze is a guy who holds his mom and grand dad close to heart, knowing how to be a master fighter, but was bullied and expelled from school even though everyone else should have been, in addition to letting himself be bullied for years now by 3 seemingly insane 20 year olds. This is obviously a chapter to make you feel bad for the protagonist as well as showing other things, but it doesn't hide how generic it actually is, It sorta reminds me of that one anime called Chivalry of a Failed Knight, where the main protagonist is pretty much the target to bullying despite being strong as fuck. I mean you can make things like that good, but keeping this chapter in mind while going through the next chapter... It makes my jaw drop with how badly the power is scaled.

Anyways, hope ya enjoyed this crappy review of mine, I'll be reviewing this fanfic until the most recent chapter, I'll be reviewing each chapter one by one, and if there's one that's too long, I'll be making parts. I wanna ask you guys if I should do this or no, do these fanfic reviews, because I read quite a lot of them and I have a lot on mind. No it's not to start a flame war, it's just something I wanna do just cuz. I mean it's like a movie review or some crap.

Anyways, I'll be basically showing fanfics I've found and read myself and giving my thoughts on them. If you guys want, if you find bad fanfics, I can give them a read and give my own thoughts on them.

These are my own opinions and you shouldn't attack these people yourself for making these, and if you disagree, don't act out of line and say "this is my fave fanfic shut up PLEB!" Or some crap.

So yea, should I do this or no? Leave comments saying yes or no, hell, like I said, leave a suggestion. Although I mainly read the Pokemon and MLP fanfics, sometimes Spyro, and the types I read are the romance, adventure, drama, tragic, etc and all. I also wanna make it clear that I don't wanna review simple porn ones, I actually wanna read something with chapters and a story.
