Posted 16 years agoSo, for once I actually have news. Well, first off, no longer single. For those who want to know who my new beau is, he's

Moving right along, school. Well, last semester it seems I made the Dean's list, yay. As of now, I have about one month before I have to go back to school. Like most years involving school, I have mixed feelings. On one hand, I learned that I don't enjoy being away from home as much as I thought I would, but at the same time, it's liberating. Or at least as liberating as it can be with me normally stuck on campus because I can't drive and don't have a car. I also am excited to see my professors again because the more I meet of our Criminal Justice department, the more I think I made the right choice when I chose my major. As for my friends on campus, I really haven't been so good about keeping in touch because I don't like using Facebook, I prefer using the phone so I can at least talk to them directly. It's going to be interesting to see what happened to the friend of mine that discovered he was bi last year. He's honestly got mixed feelings about who he is, but I hope that if nothing else I can help him work through his troubles.
Onto another point of order that's been eating away at me for a while. It seems that no matter where I go, or who I'm with lately, I somehow end up feeling uncomfortable or unwanted. I understand that while some who have actually been around me don't think that I was made to feel unwanted, however in cases like this, perception is reality. I've tried discussing this issue before, but to no honest avail. After canceling my AC plans due to some poor news, I really thought I might start working on this issues, and I've been trying, but the more I work at it, the more it seems to grow worse. On some level, maybe I set myself up to end up feeling bad, I honestly couldn't say. I'd like to think that isn't the case, but it's a possibility. I don't even know who will actually see this, but I figured getting my thoughts out might help.

Posted 16 years agoAs of late I've been feeling really out of place here at school. I have a few friends, which is nice, I don't feel nearly as lonely as I once did here. The problem is I'm feeling a bit depressed. Part of it is just feeling a lack of companionship as of late. I feel stupid, but I don't talk to my boyfriend nearly as much as I want to, he has class and a ton of work, and I'm normally wrapped up with some dumb thing or another. I'm just not feeling happy lately, and it isn't my relationship, it feels like my life in general. I should be happy, I'm in a decent school, in a loving relationship with somebody who cares deeply for me and whom I care deeply for, and I have friends that I know I'm going to see this coming weekend, but I know as soon as Spring Break ends I'm going to go back to being just as upset. I don't know, the answer is staring me in the face, but I feel as though I don't see it.

Soooo, here's what's new :D
Posted 17 years agoAlright, so my semester is coming to an end next Tuesday, pending a teacher doesn't want to call a last minute meeting on any day before that Friday. Monday at 8 AM, my Crim final, 2 PM the oral part of Spanish, Tuesday at 8 AM, Math final, then I'm done. I have to turn in my final English portfolio at 12:30, if I'm late it doesn't get accepted. It's not that the portfolio is overly difficult, I've already revised one essay, but my second essay is gonna be the clincher. I really fucked it up first time around, and I don't have time to fix the bulk of the problem, which was content, so I'm focusing on sentence structure fix and fixing minor content shit after, leaving the big stuff for last.

Bad news
Posted 17 years agoWell, after catching a peek at my schedule for the fall semester it looks like I might not be going to FurFright after all....Midterms are from Oct. 13-18, FurFright is the 17-19....*sighs softly*. I was really looking forward to being able to see a really close friend at the con because I don't know when or if I'll be able to see him again. The best I can hope for is that my actual midterms are all done by or on the 16th, that way I can get to Zero's and then up to FurFright. If worse comes to worst, I may have to see if my professors will let me do my midterms early, I mean, it's taking a test early, it shouldn't be too big of a deal, right?

Posted 17 years agoWell, I'm going nowhere everybody. Turns out only my dad isn't allowed to have internet access, so I don't have to worry. He loses his computer, but I keep my laptop, so all is well. I want to thank everybody who posted on my last journal for their kind words, I appreciate them deeply.
Might be gone for a while...
Posted 17 years agoToday my dad's parole officer showed up today. This would not normally be a problem except for one glaring fact...we aren't supposed to have a computer in our house, let alone the internet. I wish I could say why this is, but nobody in the family will tell me why my dad was in jail. This aside, my dad will be meeting with his PO tomorrow and in the event something goes wrong, I may wind up with no internet and my dad back in jail. I hope neither of those things occur...I really do.

Posted 18 years agoWell, the new year started off quite well for me. At the PA Furry New Year's Ball, I got myself my first collar, handmade by one of the sweetest guys I know, Shortwave the husky. This little number is bright green with glow-in-the-dark stitching. Well, I spent most of the night getting touched by drunk, horny guys with bad reputations for having issues. Yes, and I'm apparently cute, but as a friend pointed out, I'm also the smallest, youngest, and most easy to rape person there. Hooray for realization, huh guys? On a lighter note, I have a laptop now. And I'm on World of Warcraft as well.

Posted 18 years agoHooray, come the 13th, it looks like I might be stuck at a family reunion. Most of you don't know that I despise my family, both sides, for many, many reasons.To start things off, for the most part, they are very intolerant people, so once I come out, I'll probably be kicked out...and disowned. Second of all, on my dad's side, I'm one of 3 male cousins born less the a year apart...I'm the middle one. Now, normally you'd think it's only the middle child of one family that gets ignored. WRONG!!! Every time I spend more than twenty minutes with my family, I end up getting blown off by everybody, unless it's my cousins Tasha and Sandy, who take joy in annoying the hell out of me. I generally end up holed away in some backroom, usually my Grandmother's bedroom for my mom's sides reunions or my aunt's office for my dad's. My father is oblivious to this, but my mom notices. She doesn't even like going to the reunions, but still she'll force me to go, despite how miserable I am there. Now, I used to this because it's been happening for years now, but that doesn't mean it hurts any less. Both families ignore me, in fact, when I was 5 I had the only birthday party I ever had. Only my Grandmother from my mom's side showed up. Needless to say, I wasn't happy, and I haven't had a birthday party since. Everybody ignores what happens and every year, my cousins all get birthday parties where I have to go and fake being happy. I'm just so tired off bullshitting my way through this family.

Posted 18 years agoWell, I hate to say this, and I know some people might not want to hear, but as of now, Perfect Job is on hold, until a time at which I deem it back on track. It's not that I don't want to write it, it's just that I've had no ideas or anything in the past couple of months. I can't really help it, nobody can when it happens. Maybe I'll work on it this summer, who knows, it all depends. Besides that I'm undertaking a different route for a new story, I will not be divulging any info about it as of yet, but that probably won't keep people from asking :P
Ahhhh, quite a week
Posted 18 years agoWell, this week has been shitty as hell. First, I started the week out in one of my "depressed states". This happens from time to time, I usually get out of them pretty fast. But on Tuesday night I had to rush and finish a lab write-up for phycis, praying what I wrote was right. Then in Physics yesterday, we got a quiz on sound waves. Normally, it would have been fine, because I studied. Did that matter, oh no, not at all. The jackass teacher put stuff on the quiz that he never taught us, stuff that wasn't in our rarely used books. Oh, but to top it off, in my school, if you have a final letter grade of "A" in a class at the end of the year, not including finals, you are exempt from the finals. This quarter in Physics, I needed a 93%, I had a 93%, but thanks to the quiz, it's a moot point, we have one more coming up, and that will have to save my ass. *sigh* Bad week >_<
