Posted 7 years agoA group of Tulsa Area Furs, in collaboration with the Tulsa Area Furs Admin team, is pleased to announce a brand new, hotel-based furry convention here in Tulsa, Oklahoma! We are excited to bring you the first hotel fur con here in Oklahoma! Based on votes from a public vote, the new con will be named Tails and Tornadoes Furcon.
Our first two-day con will be Saturday January 18th thru Sunday January 19th, 2020. Prices for the first year "mini-con" are $40 for basic registration $80 for sponsor and $150 for supersponsor. We are currently working with the convention space and hotel and will announce the location once it has been confirmed.
If you would like to donate to our convention’s general fund, please contact our Financial Director PeaceWolf Creations by email at ttfurcon[at]gmail.com with the subject "I want to donate".We currently have $1,000 pledged to this convention’s fund but we need your help both monetarily and physically to make it successful!

RIP Zana Kouriclaw
Posted 9 years agoToday Oklahoma has lost one of their own. 
Zana_Skunk Zana Kouriclaw, a skunk cat hybrid, cub, and a friend of mine, passed away this morning. He spent the last month in the hospital suffering from sepsis and an unknown auto immune disorder. He had been comatose and on life support for 3 weeks and I'm thankful he's no longer suffering.
I really admired Zana's strength. He was incredibly resilient and he almost seemed untouchable. When he first got sick, he knew he was going to make it through. He couldn't stand seeing other people sad and he was always cheering everybody in the group chats on telegram up. He was really selfless too, he never complained whenever somebody needed him. He was always so funny and it was his positive outlook on life that kept me from taking mine.
I'm really gonna miss that Muskkitteh. Goodnight Little Zana. Sleep well.

Posted 11 years agoI finally got a FURSTREAM account! And I sat there for about two hours with an IT guy, trying to figure out how to make it work...! Thanks to 
stormwulf and 
sammy-cub for sticking around for the entire time...! We got all of the bugs worked out and we streamed ATLANTIS: THE LOST EMPIRE!

Awesome past couple of nights with my bro and nephew

Vallenvulpiano and I went on an all day fishing trip (complete with crinkles and some beer and snow cones!) after that we got lost trying to find the Whataburger for lunch. After that we went and saw HTTYD 2 (sequel to the best movie ever made) and we had such a great time!!!
Saturday was business as usual, I got cursed out by several customers at work...meh...but then I got to play Age of Empires 3 and talk to my lil nephew til 2am!
On Sunday I went to my Tia Iella's house to see mí abuela from Mexico City. When I got home I got to talk to my lil bro again.
Monday night after work I got to voice with both my nephew and my brother; we had a very cubby-adult confuzzled conversation...!
And finally tonight I got to talk to Botha of them again and after my bro sent my nephew (his cub) to bed, we watched Pokemon 5: Mewtwo Retuns!! What kinds of debauchere awaits us next!!?

MibsDawe is going away for a bit to finish her school. She needs somebody to take care of her son while she's away. Nocty is a well-behaved wolf puppy (generally), all he really needs is love and affection and three square meals a day (and diaper changes). $20: 1 shaded character; simple background
$30: 1 detailed character; +$10 for intricate background
$5 for each additional character, $10 for intricate/detailed background.

Grrr...I'm so mad right now!!
Posted 12 years agoMy apologies for what I'm about to do, but I am going to have a ranting session...! I am just so pissed off right now...
So get this, my dad has gotten a hair up his ass lately; he thinks that he cannot trust me to do what I am responsible for doing. Lately he has been yelling at me for not doing my chores everyday, when I spent all damn day cleaning for the past two months. He has also been randomly searching my room for stuff as well. It's almost like he's expecting to find a drug stash or something!
As if invading my privacy wasn't bad enough, he has tightened the reins on my curfew. I work full time at mcdonalds as a crew trainer. I work the evening shift everyday from 2-10pm; he has my curfew set at 10:10pm sharp. If I'm not home exactly by then, I get my ass chewed out for being late! (My managers sometimes have to keep kid late, deal with it!!)
I have my own car, a little red Suzuki hatchback. I make monthly payments on this car, as well as pay for gas; but my dad requires that if I want to go anywhere (including work) that I have to call him and get his permission before going anywhere! I got grounded last weekend because I went to go run some errands while he was at work: he took my keys like afifteen year old girl!!
I am freaking 20 years old, almost 21, and he still treats me like a four year old. I am not allowed to speak my mind around him, and I am not allowed to disagree with him over anything. When I get in trouble, I'm not allowed to stick up for myself! I'm just so sick of it!! Today he changed the password on my pc because I didn't want to disturb the sleeping girls, so I waited until noon when everybody was up to do my chores!
I am planning to move out, case I'm sick of it all; but of course he won't let me speak my mind around him!!
