I am not easily weirded out by people's fetishes, kinks, or lifestyle choices. When I first learn about something "strange" other people like, I become curious and have to restrain myself from bombarding people with questions. First I think to myself "What have I done I my life that is most similar to this activity?" Then I ask if the activity passes among consenting adults. If all parties are consenting adults, the worst thing I can say is that it's unhygienic or that I am not interested in it. So I am pretty open minded. For example I sold my used shoes to foot fetishists before; that isn't sexy to me, but it's not gross.

So what does bother me? People who do things to others against their will or without their consent. Maybe it bothers me because I spent three years in "boarding school" where maybe 80% of the girls had been raped, and they all told us their stories. It makes rape more than not sexy for me, it makes me really unable to tolerate it.

I'm really wondering how much crossover there is between this community, and the Otherkin community. I guess I encountered otherkin more than furry, since pagans have a bit of crossover into that group, and I was meeting new pagans quite a bit.
