I feel really, really, really inadequate with my art. I've got quite a few pieces that I owe and I wish like hell I could get it done, but I don't want to give out art that was paid for that I feel like I could've done better. I've been sketching all day and out of probably 45 or so sketches 3 came out kind of okay.

Basically I want to apologize to those I owe art to. You've been super patient and I really appreciate it. You shouldn't have to wait this long, but I just want to be at my best. Thanks for being so great, really.

Okay, look.

I any of you out there ever think you want to buy a cheap tablet because wacom tablets are so effective, don't, I repeat, DON'T buy a Turcom Huoin tablet! These things are fucking garbage! I've been dealing with this fucking thing for a couple of years now and has been nothing but a pain in the ass, even more so lately due to it's constant inability to stay connected to my computer for no apparent reason. While it draws fine, as you guys have seen, it's frequently buggy, it's made of shit material, and for the love of god, the pen doesn't even have an eraser! Even when it showed an eraser on the fucking picture of the damn thing! For weeks now, this thing has been glitching, uninstalling itself, and just being flat-out inaccurate with my pen movements and I've been doing my damnedest to fix it.

So, right now, I want to apologize to my current commissioners for being so quiet and I will get your work done. What I need, though, is to either get this damn thing fixed or scrape together cash for a wacom tablet.

I'm really sorry, guys.

I wanted to really quick talk about something.

It seems that when I buckle down and really try to make a cool interesting picture it comes out like shit. When I focus as hard as I can and try and get things looking as good as possible it sucks. And it's frustrating, it pisses me off, makes me want to quit.

So then after I'm done with my bitch fit, I decide to try unwinding with some doodles. Some of 'em go farther than others and end up looking really good. Then I'm even more pissed 'cause I couldn't do that the first time around.

I guess, to put it simply, there's a such thing as trying too hard. For me, at least. I seem to be at my peak of quality when I'm just doing it for fun. I'm not stressed out trying to get little detail. It's just flowing along. My hand knows what to do so it does it. So something I'm trying to work on, and maybe it'll help you, is just letting my hand do it's thing. I don't need to be 3 inches from the screen making sure every single thing is where it needs to be. I know the idea and my hand knows how to make it happen. So just let it happen.

Don't try.

Just do it.

I use the little money I get on things I need to survive and the rest goes to stupid shit and bad decisions.

So, it's that month again. Time for hugs, kisses, holiday themed porn, and handing out heart-shaped meat. That is assuming a lot of you are dogs unable to eat chocolate.

Anyway, in the spirit of the season, all commissions for the month are $5 off normal price and any commissions for couples/Valentines Day will only be charged at the price of one character instead of two. Y'know, just in the spirit(also I'm poor as fuck and would like to be able to eat this month.)
