Posted 11 years agoThis Saturday is the Renaissance Festival here in Colorado! I've been busting my chops to finish these faun legs in time. I'm waiting on my hooves to come in, and that is the last step, but I doubt they will be here in time and I commissioned her in April. Does anyone have any ideas that I could do in a pinch for hooves? The ones I bought were the heels with the heel bit broken off.

Secondly I have made motions to get into drawing again so that I have something to watercolor.
Lastly, I really want to believe that this community is better than what I've seen experienced by others. I really love the idea of fur suiting and I'm still going to pay the one I have started off. I just don't want to fursuit alone. Maybe there are some local furs who wouldn't mind going out with me!

Another Little Journal- Colorado springs furs
Posted 11 years agoSo im pretty excited!!! My jeep is fixed and I found out there are waaay more furs in Colorado Springs than I thought. For those who dont know, the Springs is really liberal or really conservative. And just as my luck would have it, usually conservative people are around me. LE SIGH!!! Any who, I really want to get together with them as soon as my suit is finnished, but it wont be till around december till that happens. There are a lot of really cool ideas in the works with 
that will hopefully happen soon. I also really want to get to know these people 
and 
because it seems like they know whats going on around here! *update* Im still really nervous to do commissions for people so I think that working with the Mighty Sesi, I can get over it. I know, I know, buck up buttercup. Well ill get to it, dont worry.

Posted 11 years agoWell I was headed to work today, actually I didnt even make it that far...
I went to start my old jeep and she wouldnt stay started. I know its my fuel pump *cries*. She is strong like bull, but even she cant operate without fuel. So needless to say I was a little late to the Candy Store. Goodness, at least my coworkers are understanding. Ill just have to tap (drain) my Anime Expo savings to pay for it because my job and a roof over my head is more important right? Right?...... >.>
That is to be decided later.
Tonight though, has been more productive than I thought it would be. With some much needed help I now have set up a pricing guide for scarves that I would like to start making for you all. So far I have only made a Corgi and a Fox, but others shouldnt be so hard (horse.. *Shudder*). Im just really nervous because I want you guys to like them, and I dont want to be a disappointment. This is why I dont have commission info and havent taken any up.
Ill get there I promise.

Frustration --> Small Rant
Posted 11 years agoWhy is it every time I find and artist I really enjoy and want to commission, they are closed and even sometimes indefinitely? *violin screetch*
I really hope it wont be this frustrating when im in the market for a suit.
Other news: Im still saving for my trip to AX with
RMFC this year will be my first con of this type and im really excited!

Posted 12 years agoIts a strange feeling being new to something, whether it be a club or meeting new people in fandoms. Which I suppose is the same thing. Im excited to learn about this new area of the interwebs and my hope is that ill make new friends!
