This is the general statistic of children waiting to be adopted. I am pretty sure that the solution is to adopt these children out, not ban abortion so we can make the orphaned child rate skyrocket dramatically.

we got an internet connection now

One of my first rats, Emile, died sometime early this morning.

He didn't immediately come up to the cage like rats are known to do when you greet them.... sometimes he didn't, sometimes he would lay where he was and turn shift around to slowly get to the bars. But yeah, he passed on very peacefully in his sleep, curled up and looking comfortable in his favorite little spot of the cage.

I miss the little guy, and I've been really tired and down today because of it. His birth brother Sebastian and adopted brother Badger are both doing fine, but Sebastian did try to grab the rag I wrapped Emile in. Other than that, they're active and doing alright.

My guy and I are going to be moving by the end of April, and my roommate's dog is still looking for a home.
