Uni still progresses and drives me to knock out comics for the sake of my sanity!

Here's the latest, and remember just say no! O_o

There's 24 pages here I did in between Uni in order to keep my sanitys. This is a semi-regular comic thing called D.U.I. I make every now and then, depending on how busy I am. :P
I'll upload 5 a day!

I've been neglecting this place...soz n' that!

I recently moved and only now just got a wireless 'Inter Net' connection going after over a month and half :P

On top of that I finnished a new 'DUI' comic I did in between Uni to keep my sanitys. I've been uploading that on LJ every few days or so when I had access. So I'll get around to uploading here when I can. Probably in batches of five or something. o_o

I've been trying to track that down but its so freakin rare. (I was hoping not to torrent it as my HD is full of crap as it is)
Its been said that you shoulden't watch this movie stoned, because you'll think the effects are from the grass and not the film. O_o

Amongst the Uni stuff I've been watching Franco-Japanese anime from the 1980's after a couple of geniuses uploaded them to youtube.
Both of them totally Epic and I mean that most sincerely! When the French and Japanese got togeather, They made the best damn animation of the 80's.


The first one is Ulysses 31. A unique and futuristic 'Homer's Oddessy IN SPAAAACE' affair. Incredably dark at times for a kids show.I remember at the ages of 6 or 7, some episodes scared the shit out of me. The Designs are top notch and beautifull.

The second, and probably more better known is of course 'Mysterious cities of Gold'. Even more Epic, this felt like it went on forever.(39 episodes)

I highly recomend them. Then dispair at the knowlege that kids cartoons got shitter afterwards:P

I've got at least three pictures pending. one pornish, one of Nick and a sort of none anthro shamanic pic I'm doing in real media. (frikkin markers, pencils and brush penz)

My Uni's stepped up a gear mind you so dunno how long that'll take.
In the mean time, my scraps folder has been seeing use. Mainly for sketches and designs I haven't uploaded before, just to prove I'm still alive O_O

Been listening to a lot of post-punk/ deathrock recently amongst stuff like 'tragic black', 'alien sex fiend' and the like. I found 'Bone Orchard' which I am totally in love with, has that whole western vibe thing going on.

After the black metal faze its all a hell of a lot gentler. Which is what I need now my Uni' is in full swing.

This old late 60's hammer film based on the 50's brit sci fi
tv shows scared the shit out of me when I first saw it on tv as a nipper, Yet I loved it all the same.
I just recently saw the movie again today, the story still stands up pretty well.
I still get Goosebumps when the giant satanic apparition towers over London and half the populous go on a
telekinetic killing spree.

I was told to try and hunt down the original '58 version as its apparently better.


Also, how cool a name is Proffessor Quatermass?


Other than that:
I've got some new quartz clock mechanisms, I'm gonna try putting some new clocks together, friggin' finally. Just need to pull together some face designs.

I'm creating mock b movie 70's exploitation posters at the mo'. thats gonna contribute to graphics design practice. aging posters and imperfections etc.
Possible titles I'm considering include: MURDERMIME! 'He's a Mime who also happens to be a murderer!' also possibly 'Vampire bikerdykes from saturn'.

I feel as though I've been neglecting this place. But not just that. I feel I've been out of touch with the fandom itself. Theres certain people I haven't spoken to in yearrrrs.

I've started delving into the wacky world of stencil making! Me and a friend of mine are planning on putting togeather some bizzare subversive cuteness! When I say 'putting togeather' I mean seeing what we can do in our spare time in between other artz and uni/work things. poor dear can't do much eather after straining her ankle something rotten. so she's all propped up and angry.

But anyhoo, coyotes are pretty subversive and downright odd creatures, I'll have to make 'yote glyph style stencils! with something along the lines of 'coyotes are naked, you should be too!' printed underneath. O_o

or 'Boil onions for jesus!',or 'I know what you threw out last summer'. That sort of thing :P

Well, I'm still alive! But I haven't been about as much in the past month or two to really concentrate on any pictures.

Most of the free creative time I've had as been making things for my fledgling corporate empire on SL! (I have two shops O_O)

However, I have one full coloured pic in the works and two pencil drawings!
Also I'll upload a flash rotoscoping exercise along with that. (woo bulk uploads!) I should also do some exploring in FA too, I heard more people I know have opened up acounts here. So that'll be nice.

It seems totally incredable that I managed to go so long doing graphics design without one O_o.

Well I realise noone uses the scraps function here. But I desided to start sticking all my sketches in there anyhoo. Its good for me too as I tend to forget stuff I've sketched out and that for ages afterwards:P right now I'm uploading anatomy and that.
