Upon seeing people playing Dark Souls 3, I decided to pick up a game I haven't played in a while. It has been so long sine I sat and seriously played it that I don't remember beating it. The reason I chose this game is because it is maddeningly hard (like Dark Souls games) and I believe most of the creative team for one series worked on the other. After 8 consecutive deaths from falling into deep water, I remember why I may have put it aside and not completed it. Below are some of the bullet points.
-If you die once, no matter how far along you are in the game, you go back to the beginning: level 1, starting area and only a dagger to begin with.
-No dual analog controls. To move or turn left and right you would use a dpad. Strafe with the shoulder buttons and look up and down with trigger buttons.
-You have to navigate stairs, platforms, etc. stuck in first person view.
- The only way to really defeat most enemies is to dive in and out (if you're ballsy or if they are stuck somewhere) or moving behind or to the flank of the enemy.
-Your controls are a bit clumsy and there are multiple enemies or enemies that have ranged, status effects or both, or just enemies that can move much more agilely than you. --But despite all this, I keep falling into the deep water, because my character apparently lost the ability to swim upon getting to the island.

The History of the Hoplon (Spartan shield) as I know it:
Each shield was custom designed by the Spartan himself or by an artist he paid.
These massive round shields were given to Hoplites (Spartan warriors) upon graduation from military academy.
They were constructed of many layers of wood and topped with a sheet of bronze.
The shields were very heavy and expensive to reproduce.

Over the course of several years, I have been making a list of funny transformation items in food format. There are links to them in this journal. This will be a short journal, since I don't know who will read it. A warning to those who do not like Superman: if you plan on leaving a comment that is a paragraph of shitting on him, move on.
I did not read comic books much as a kid, which is why I likely don't often read them as an adult. The most experiences I had with super heroes as a kid (and even now) are through their films and shows. My favorite Superman version is likely the one from his animated series, or Christopher Reeve.
I know he is not everyone's favorite superhero, but unless someone has encyclopedic knowledge of where every one of his powers came from, and how often he used those powers, they are a point of debate.
But this journal is not about debate, it's about opinion. Let people have theirs and if someone else's favorite chafes your nuggets, post yours to let them have a new way of looking.

This was written during a bout of mental instability last night.

I have something on my mind, or someone actually. He has been in the entertainment business for longer than I have been alive and still continues to entertain many people to this day. I speak about the famous Mario.
To be specific, Mario of the Mario Brothers.
Think about his career. His original name was Jumpman, he has been a circus animal trainer and a carpenter (at the same time), a plumber in a fantasy world (his most famous part), a boxing referee, a golfer, a doctor, a go kart driver and likely things I can't remember. Even the the strategy guide for Super Mario World pretty pretty much portrays him and his brother Luigi in the same light as one would famous actors. In fact, that's where I got my theory about him, that all his parts were just that; acting gigs. That's right: Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, Toad and all the others were just actors in a play or movie. The real sealer was Super Mario 3, where the ending had a curtain descend on him.

Okay, I think I'll try something here. Let's make some furry super heroes and super villains. So here is how it will work. There will be data below. Fill out the data and post it to see how many we can get. This post will also have an example of my design.

A Friend of mine, Kain_Woxxeh, has suffered a horrible incident. Due to a circumstances beyond his control, his computer was destroyed. I decided to help him with my only talents, but how could I I am not an artist. Then I thought of something.
