Work has been crazy with Easter being last Sunday. Can you believe that we actually ran out of ham two days before Easter? We haven't gotten our order of them, either. :|

Anyway, I'm just bored and kind of wanted to put a quick update. I've gotten back into WoW. I don't have my own account right now, so I'm just playing on a roommate's. Level 26 tauren druid on the Trollbane server. ;D

I eat way too much on my birthday.

For my birthday, I got a trip to Vegas, to California, to Boise, and to Salt Lake City. A lot of traveling this year.

In Vegas I just gambled, walked around the strip a lot, and enjoyed my time.

In California I got to see family, relax a bit, and definitely enjoy the weather.

As for Boise, we spent a lot of time in the mall, saw The Crazies (which I enjoyed a bit), and ate at a cool pizza place. (:

THEN came Salt Lake City. I went to the gateway mall, ate food, and got REALLY nice tickets to the Jazz vs. Clippers game from Alyssa. We made it a double date, so it was Alyssa, her boyfriend, , and I. :D

When we got back from SLC, I spent some time at 's house, got a cake, and played some good ol' Guitar Hero.

As for my other gifts, I got a few CDs (The Beatle's S/T album, Radiohead's In Rainbows, Bob Dylan's MTV Unplugged, and a Daft Punk album, despite the fact I'm not a Daft Punk fan.) I also got other little things like a photo album. ^^

Just summarizing my recent adventures for memory. If you read this, then awesome!

I'm laying in my bed for the first time since Thursday.

I've been at a friend's house since Thursday to make up for lost time and for other various reasons. It was a lot of fun, actually. I got new clothes, sized my ears up again (They're now 2g!), and watched movies.

So far this hasn't been a good year. It's only been a day and a half, though! My job search isn't going well, and the recourses I had are completely gone.

I'm seeing a military recruiter on Monday. Either army or air force. I'm a bit scared, but I know overall this will be good for me, even get me away from Idaho for a while.

I saw Will for (possibly) the last time in a while last night. I MIGHT see him today, but he's heading back to basic, then AIT. I'll miss him. <3

Oh, and by the way... the season finale of Dexter: Season 4 was intense. I'm freaking out until the next season starts.

In honor of FA being back for a while, I just thought I'd update my journal with updates and the such. :]]

My (ex) employer recently layed off a bunch of people, including me, my friend, and many coworkers whom I grew to love last week. Luckily I have some money saved up, have weekly checks coming, and have applied to over 20 jobs in less than one week. It won't be long before I find a job I love more than my last.

With all of this time off, I've had plenty of time to play guitar and video games. I traded the first guitar I got for an electric guitar. :D At first it was a temporary trade, but after my friend learned how much he loved acoustic we traded permanently. He had two electrics and I had two acoustics, so it worked out for both of us.

As for video games, I've fallen in love with Borderlands and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Both are insanely good games, especially Borderlands playing co-op.

I've already heard what Christmas gifts I'm getting. Cassie plans on getting me The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks for the DS. Sean has gotten me Scribblenauts and I suspect a season of Dexter on DVD.

I'm hanging out with this weekend. We're makin' muffins and pizza. >:]]

TL;DR:
Even though some stuff has been shitty, life is steadily getting more awesome. Electric guitar and Borderlands makes me happy. I can't wait for Christmas.

Just got back from having a good night filled with The Lion King II and the fourth season of House. :} and got me the entire season on DVD as an early Christmas present. n_n

Now it's time for me to rest before I have to get up soon, get ads, then perhaps sleep more before going to different houses to feast. Oh yeah, THEN I'm waiting all night somewhere to get a new TV. You bet your ass I'm excited. :D

I just got back from seeing New Moon.
It's going to be one of my guilty pleasures. It wasn't great, but it wasn't bad. I didn't like the first movie, but I kind of liked how it ended. I liked how this one ended, too. :} No one else in the theater did, however.

I think I liked this one 'cause I'm a fur-fag and there were giant wolves who were actually kind of assholes. Just like me. :D
