, the DA kiriban, something else I'm forgetting.. and the turian pinip calender! I feel so bad I have barely done anything and yet Owl and a few other artists have done so much already! T^T
Tho I did start a sketch last night, Von is gonna be Febuary peoples!! No idea how the layout is gonna be, gonna try and make it look awesome!

Posted 14 years agoOne of my two gay best friends drops by for dinner sees how mopey I am and signs me up on an online date site -__- Not that I'm worried or even care, not like I would use it or set up any meets anyways.
He means well and feels bad cause himself an our other friends are finding partners and dont want me to be lonely I guess :I Need to hang out with those two more, all three of us too busy with work an I miss them :c
Anyways I'm still arting, while playing both Skyrim and Dance Central. Work is getting busyer with christmas shoppers. OH LORD THE CHRISTMAS SHOPPERS! ... I'm gonna stop before I start to rant..

Posted 14 years agoGetting my lumpy self up and productive...sorta. When I feel like it...
Emotions been very haywire lately so contrast in the last two art posts are relating to that. I dunno, moving alot more. Went outside, played with the dogs, shufflin down the hallway, being unco in Dance Central.
I know of a few other peoples who are having a rough time too, either for no reason at all like me, or cause life likes to be a bitch to those who dont need it. Guys, it will get better. Course I'm probs only saying that cause i'm on a high at the moment. But really, it will.
Gotta stay positive. I'm trying to, trying so damn hard.
Helps when you have super rad friends, you know who you are. I'd probably have my face over the gas stove if it werent for youse. Ok, I wouldnt do that. I'd probs do something else just as bad-now I'm starting to ramble, fergotten now what I made this journal for... :I

Now I'm not too good with the crafting but I did make a Deezmo tail in less than a week...ok that was a little less detailed but still! I know how to work a sewing machine now and mum's is going to waste in her closet.
So, this is gonna be my project next year. Would start now but I have my sci fi bday party this week, friend's/family's bdays, and dont even get me started on christmas! Hours are gonna go up an that will probs cut into my art/gaming time.
So want to start now though... I want to cuddle him :c

Stupid brain pan!
Posted 14 years agoHad a night terror and jolted awake about half an hour ago, its about five in the morning now an I can't fall back asleep >.< Stupid giant spiders!
Thought I'd type a bit about my week, not that interesting.
Tuesday was an awesome bday. Got Skyrim (mum got it right the first time xD ), step dad got me fifty bucks, a new shirt and coasters. Footrot Flat coasters from when the 'rents wen to New Zealand. It's an old 70's-90's comic by the way :D loved it since I was a kid.
Work was tiring, Saints Row 3, Halo and Assasins Creed all in the one day! Phew! Atleast it made the day go fast. Worked again on wednsday, there's a few guys going around hitting game stores. We lost a couple grand worth of games a few weeks back, according to the CCTV cams I wasn't working when we got hit (thank god!). We have pics of the dudes doing this shit so I've been keeping an eye out for the fuckers >C

Getting tangled in these sheets! ARGH!
Can hear the birds waking up, kookaburras seem to be laughing at me!

Posted 14 years agoGranted its only 12:30 to 5:30, plus mum in august had to work all day for her 50th so I guess its not really a biggie. Kinda dissapointed though..I can't ask for that day off, a casual has an exam and three majour titles come out.
Will be arting and chatting and surfin the nets in the morning, work, then come home and play Skyrim.
Demanded it for my b-day pressie. Hope mum gets it right, would not be impressed if she came home with Skylanders or something. I can see her doing that *rolls eyes*

They are uncommon too, we get atleast 3-5 in the house over the summer and the odd one or two in the car. Hell, in Feb I almost drove into a street lamp post when I saw one on my side of the car just near my window.
AND OF COURSE SPRAY WILL NOT WORK ON THESE FUCKERS! You would have to use half a can and even then they will crawl away from you. Yes they bite but they would rather flee.
No you can't die from the venom.

Taking it one step at a time, atleast I havnt been drinking. Good thing my lazyness gets the better of me when I crave, 5min drive to the bottle-o seems a long way when one is a lazy ass.
Surrounded myself with good friends, sunday at the con was oodles of fun. Spent way too much, as you sometimes do at those things, haha.
Work was pretty busy with BF3 an all. Street date got broken on Wed an that night we were gonna have a midnight launch >.>
Kept me on my toes the past three days. Heres a pic of the counter, we got to decorate it.

Played the crap outta the first one and am so excited for this one, like staring at the ad at work.
Makes me wanna dance right there at the counter.
In conclusion I am doing better, keeping a stiff upper lip and all that what what!
Will be getting to the art that I still owe peoples, you can be sure about that!

Posted 14 years agoAtleast it feels that way, everytime I 'get back on the horse' life decides to shoot it in the head and laugh as I fall on my ass.
{Really don't like doing these kinds of journals but I have to vent}
Today I got told by my manager (who is around the same age as me and is wonderfull to work with) that the area manager came by the store, looked at our KPI'S (sales percentages), pointed at mine and asked her "Why is she still working here? You have had interviews and selected two good ones."
She then told me not to worry and focus on getting more warrenties and add ons for each sale.
Now that was a kick in the gut, especially considering how long and hard I have worked for the company. If my sales dont improve over christmas, I have been told I will be replaced with one of the new christmas casuals. Had half a mind to quit right there if I didnt need the income. Sure I only work 15hrs a week but its a good job. I love it. I can work with that income. Not forever of course but where I am right now its enough.
Really, really, really hoping things pick up. Fuck, I cried myself to sleep last night. I have NEVER done that. Hate crying..its for babies...
Killing my art mojo, trying to sketch crap when I can. Just not feeling it. Gonna try and deal like I usually do, put on a movie and sloth on the couch. Getting lost in a fantasy world keeps my mind off things atleast for a few hours, I'm happy.
Going to a pop culture convention, Armageddon, on Sunday with a group of friends. One thing to look forward to I guess, they are dressing up. I can buy more comics.

I think that one is my fave so far xD
Also I like to think some of those ways in opening beer bottles is how Goliat goes about it. Its funny to imagine Hahaha! xD

Posted 14 years agoSo much fun, I should do it more. Course the thing I'm painting aint too great, rocks an snow covered mountains..but...its fun. Haha I usually hate doing backgrounds xD
Soooo many rocks @-@ Will continue in the morning.
Also SPACE! Stars, nebulas and planets! Also fun to create!
