Course I manage to close it quick before siblings see what I'm drawing but if anything it makes it worse when my FREAKKING desktop wallpaper is porn!!! Totally fergot to change it...

Posted 14 years agoIf our store dont do well enough with sales soon, area manager is gonna be replacing us with "sales people instead of gamers". It being a game store while also needing to make money, the issue is very *waggles hand* iffy.
It dont help that retail everywhere is doing bad, what with the economy over in the US being what it is has made some Australians more wallet tight.
I just hate how much its changed since I first started there, carefee, easy going. Now its all OMG WE NEEDA GET MORE PRE-ORDERS, SELL PRE-OWNED, ADD ONS, WARRANTIES, GET MORE TRADE-INS blah blah blah!
If we dont do good we are told to do better. HOW THE FUCK AM I SPOSED TO DO THAT WITH AN EMPTY STORE?!
Also told to go converse with customers, yes I say "Hi can I help you?" But now they want us to strike up a conversation with them! Sure its fine with people who want to but most of the times they are there to shop and DONT WANNA BE HARRASSED! FUCK!
Anyways I'm still feeling a bit agro with how the staff meeting went last night and how I was talked to afterwards, apperantly I give off the impression that I dont like working there and that I only go to get paid...god..

NOT NAMING NAMES HERE OR REFFERRING TO ANYTHING IN PATICULAR!!
I'm just telling ya'll how I see it. I see it as pointless and upsetting.
Never did like arguments, its why my siblings get away with calling me names when they are all 'COME AT ME BRO!'
I avoid confrontation and ignore it. So, naturally, the same thing goes for online occurances.
Sure this may make me seem... I dunno..heartless? Don't really care how this makes me look, its just how I am.
Not one to take sides either unless its someone is being a majour twat then its just down to my common sence.
So yeah. Thats it really.
Now for some happy. I LOVE SUCKER PUNCH.

Also on a side note (just happened moments ago) I showed mum the awesome Garrus litho I managed to frame and hang up all professional-like ALL BY MYSELF! (so proud x3 ).

Now I remember why I started doing digital more, I'm running outta certain colours. Dont have enough shades. Its messy. I like to use the more expencive brands. And I get a headache from the smell.

Also I was thinking on taking sticker commissions for people who dont mind sharing their postal address with me, it would be like that garrus one. Name at the bottom on sticker paper. You will also be sent the test sketch(s).
THAT KIND OF STICKER PAPER IS NOT WATER-PROOF, so you would have to be carefull where you stick it or just put sticky tape over it like I do.
Thoughts?

A few weeks ago I had to go to an area staff meeting, big boss' from HQ flew over for it. All the Game staff from the STATE had to go. An hours train ride for me, late at night.
I wore my Garrus t-shirt. Like a boss.
ANYWAYS TO THE POINT!
It was boring, heard it all before. So I daydreamed as I do. About merp. I don't think I needa elaborate.
You's know who you are.
So yeh, boring as hell.
But yesterday my manager. Not my fave one. Asked me:
"If we get a faulty pre-owned console to sell, from the warehouse, who do we e-mail?"
Me: "Uuuuhhhh...... Since when do I deal with them...things? Not my job (this is tru).."
Full timer: "Remember, she is like a pokemon, can only remember to do 4 things at a time."
Me: "Heh yeah, this week its, work, art, drive, eat."
EVERYONE LAUGHS!
So it was all in good fun an turns out my manager didnt care. Thank GAWD!
I get WAY too distracted. But its FIIIINNNEE!! Its fine! Its fine! Its fine!

Umm..I do use refs when it comes to drawing other peoples characters but also try to stick to my own style, so if its kinda retarded looking thats probs why...?
Course I'm also heavily influenced by the ME concepts art books I have and
's tutorials.
Is any of this making sence? If not, probs coz I'm tired an just babbling but its somthing thats been on my mind for a while now.
OH! And a talks I was in at some point today about OC's left me feeling not really...good about my own.
Like Norah, being very much just me but as a Turian, was boring an not very...umm..well thought out?
ALSO! I would like to take advantage of my current emotional...emotions that I seem to have had for the past week, to say a BIG BIG THANKYOU! To Chell and Von. Without who I would not be here <3

Its a deffinate must see for all sci-fi geeks, gamers ect.
So many Star Wars refs :D
Friendly banter thru the night included jokes being made on the person in the group who has a...thing for aliens, talking bout me of course. ODD ONE OUT!

One that I chuckled to was Jo's descussion on how to get me fit ( I'm not THAT fat just not fit -_-; )
"We need to dangle an xbox remote in front of a treadmill. That would get her running"

LoL! When I told a co-worker that he was like "Its gonna be hard..coz you know...we work in a game store?"
BUT!! We dont sell gamer mags.
AND! I dont browse gamer sites...well I do like to look at Kotaku once in a while.
No I think it would be harder avoiding stuffs coz my curiosity is...well like a starving Snorlax.
Wow that was geeky...

Posted 14 years agoToday started off not too good. Couldnt sleep very well last night, stomach problems yet again.
Waking up an seeing THIS PRETTY really woke me up.
Chells you are so amazing! <3
Remembering today was the day Sucker Punch was out an seeing it with Poodle also cheered my mood. Ran a tad late getting to his place, sped tru some green lights about to turn orange. I heard sirens an freaked for a bit thinking it was a Cop car, it wasnt. It was an Ambulance that I sped infront of.
....
Now I didnt hear the sirens untill it was too late, I did feel bad about them having to slow down because of me speeding out in front of them. I wasnt in the wrong, the lights were still green an I couldnt hear them...sure I prolly shoulda looked right..
ANYWAYS!
Movie was great despite hearing nothing but bad news

A few things that irked me about the movie was how she had to kill a baby dragon, while it was sleeping. Mumma draggie didnt like that one bit so she killed it too.
NOT FAIR!
Plus my fave chars ended up dying, Rocket and Amber. DAMMIT!! :C

But I am indeed going to be buying it when it comes out on Blu Ray
Bought Megamind on BR today, I love it ^^
