Posted 14 years agoMy amazing assistant manager (who was the chrissy casual but got the promotion cos im happy being a part timer) is an artist an so is her husband.
Who got commissioned by THE xbox360 mag in the US!
I thought that was rad, especially because it was a Mass Effect pic!! :D
They got sent 3 copies of the mag to give to family an friends, she knows how much of a tard I am for anthing ME so I got one! xDDD So much squeeing was had in store today.
Huggled an fondled the mag, stared at the pic.
An then tore the page out an stuck it above my laptop.
Coz im a nerd like that 8D

He is A screaming homo that pole dances.
I have yet to finish my drawing of him as a turian pole dancing.
Love him to bits, but the damn queer left the state without telling me!!!
He needs to do some serious boob-kissin' when he gets back! Or Dougas is my new queer!

"Met a guy at mardigra, he paid for my flight up here an I'm staying with him. He's 27 and a doctor. You know the movie Pretty Woman?"
"Yeah"
"Its like that and I'm Julia Roberts!"
"Just play it safe ok? I dont want you shipped back here knocked out with one less kidney!"
...
Why am I saying this? Coz peeps are asking about our relationship from that pic I drew.
Also have the irrational fear that people online might think I dont have a life outside video gaming an FA.

Posted 14 years agoI have decided Tam, the Asari full timer who works with Norah (and is Norah's half-sister) is gonna be based on my actuall sister.
Took today off school cos she is "sick" spent the morning with me watching Pokemon 3 while having brekky.
She wanted to play a game, so we did. Halo Reach Firefight.
Then proceeded to annoy me while I'm trying to finish some digital art.
REALLY ANNOY ME! Like SO annoying. As a young 16yr old teeny-bopper-yet-into-gaming can be.
Its all the health foods she eats I tells ya!
Bloody Vegan!
Always on a natural high, the spazz!
So yeh, whenever i'm makin mini comics or pics at Norah's Games store with Tam in it.
It will most likely be based on tue events. *sigh* >.>

Posted 14 years agoMy friend Jo's21st party last night.
In the city at a Burlesque (am I spelling it right?) bar. It was wicked.
There were girl dancers in the corners high up near the ceiling, light shining up from underneath them cast thair shadow on the wall and ceiling behind them.
Waitresses and dancers wore pretty cool outfits tho they looked more like the hookers from Sin City.
On the reserved room on the 2nd floor (that totally reminded me of the bar in Scott Pilgrim, freind shouted at the band "ITS NOT A RACE GUYS!" lol) there was a small bar an couches, on the wall there was framed panties from famous dancers decades ago.
A stage on the ground floor, one point in the night a lady did a strip show. Tho both me an the 2 straight dudes that were there agreed she needed bigger boobs for what she was doing.
Beer, wine an basic spirits were free till 10:30, I still have the purple band on my wrist.
Jo was so drunk, it was really cute seeing him freak out over hanging with everyone equally.
We are gonna play some Halo on Monday x3

Posted 14 years agoMy old boss is back, filling in for the usual one who's on annual leave.
It was his birthday today, bought him a bunch of choccies.
Had a nice 40min talk with a customer about how awesome Mass Effect is.
Me: ..Yeah It will be interesting to see how the love interests story goes, coz I cheated on Liara with Garrus
Customer: Heh...wait what?
Me: You know how you can romance certain team mates?
Customer: You can do that?!
Me: Yeah, at the end of the game you get a little...scene.
Customer: Cool! How do you do that?
Me: Talk nice.
Customer: Ah, I was a bastard. Need to play this again. Those blue chicks are hot.
Me: I'm kinda partial to Garrus myself.
*akward pause*
Customer: Have a nice day! *grinning, leaves*
No he wasnt wierded out, just thought it was funny.
I like good talks with customers who arent...strange, if you get my drift.
