It makes me wonder
Posted 3 years agoI admit, sometimes I wonder if I have anything in common with my friends? I kind of feel like I only have something in common with only like a few.

Hallow the Halloween Cat (Rise of the Guardian's oc)
Posted 3 years agoAlright, I thought I would give a bit more info on my "Rise of the Guardians" oc, Hallow. As I mentioned, she is the spirit of Halloween. Physically she resembles an anthro black cat, and is probably around Bunnymund's height. She is dressed in a witch's outfit, with a distinct Jack-o-lantern motif.
Her story begins in Salem during the Witch Trials. She was once a normal stray who was eventually adopted by a woman. The woman became her whole world and she was very happy. Sadly though, her owner was accused of being a witch and was subsequently executed. Devastated by the loss of the one person she loved, Hallow gave up the will to live and starved to death. Just as she took her last breath, she heard a voice and moments later awoke in a much larger body, and found she could now speak like a human. The man in the moon had revived her to serve as the patron spirit of All Hallow's Eve.
She remained unseen, being the occasional whisper on the wind, planting ideas in people's heads. It was believed that her influence is what transformed the holiday into the modernized Halloween.
Personality wise she can best be described as a chaotic jester. She loves to have fun and pull pranks on other people. Again, showing her influence on the holiday. She's a very festive sort who loves a good time and views Halloween as the one night a person can do what they want, and be what they want. Charismatic, spontaneous, and a girl with impeccable showmanship, she in general is a very fun person. But despite her joker personality, she does have limits, and knows when to dial things back. Also she only finds scaring people fun if the people being scared are having fun as well. She's not like Pitch after all.
However, one things he wants is to be a Guardian, but she so far has never been admitted. This may stem from the fact her wish to be a guardian is mostly derived from her desire to be viewed as a holiday icon, instead of a mere concept. She has met the other Guardians as well as other Holiday and Legendary figures. Two such figures are fellow cat spirits, Tia Dia who represents Day of the Dead, and an older cat who represents Samhain. When Hallow was first revived, the trio became a sort of family as they each represented the same holiday, just simply differing based on age and culture. Yet their relationship hit a snag when the world started to modernize. Hallow wanted to go with the times and needless to say her fellow spirits felt she was modernizing their ancient holiday.
She eventually broke off from them and rarely speaks to them.
I do have plans for her. Namely she eventually does become a guardian, the Guardian of Surprise. And eventually she enters a relation with Bunnymund the Easter Bunny. Together they go on to have seven cabbit children who each represent a color of the rainbow. Together they represent Summer Vacation.
The other Guardian she best gets along with, (besides her future husband that is) is Jack Frost. She is a fan of his work seeing as he represents Fun, plus she relates to him in regards to not being recognized (at first).
She enjoys sweets but does enjoy feline savories such as fish, rodents, and poultry. Also she does like alcohol, but sometimes she can get carried away if any is served during a celebration.

Posted 3 years agoPersonally, how I view it, Kumandran dragons like Sisu initially carry the child inside them. The dragon exhibits standard pregnancy symptoms, cravings, mood swings, etc, but it isn't a lengthy period. I haven't planned it out but they don't get baby bumps or anything. So again in short, they carry the baby inside them for a while, lay the egg, and then incubate it so it hatches.
Just an inkling
Posted 3 years agoBut I have a feeling I am annoying people and they are not telling me. I'm saying this as once I was in a situation where a person bottled up their anger towards me for two years and then completely exploded at me. I feel like that day is coming again.
Trying my damndest

Human Dragon AU
Posted 3 years agoI love alternate universes so it will come as no surprise I came up with an AU where Sisu and her siblings are human. Now I have thought hard on how the Datu siblings would be like as humans and what they would do for a living? Well I decided that the five siblings own a restaurant. Basically Sisu's parents had a dream, and that dream was to open a restaurant that had a little bit of everything. So hence they named it "Lil Bit of Everything". Now they specialized in Asian cuisine but not just there. They sold desserts and even have a bar, and eventually the restaurant was passed along to Sisu and her siblings.
Pengu would be the manager, keeping things in order and making sure the customers are happy. Amba handles finances, Pranee handles the baked goods while Jagan runs the Bar. As for Sisu? She is head chef. As for Jarek, well he is a street vendor who regularly lives off his sister. Eventually, he loose his stand and winds up meeting Sisu. Down on his luck he ends up getting a job as the restaurant and although it is shaky, he and Sisu bond.

Hellavaboss first thoughts
Posted 3 years agoI've avoided Hellavaboss mostly because I didn't want to go with trends, but my friends
NecroFeline
CollinFatRat and
Sketch-Shepherd have all talked about it and I decided to check it out myself. I watched the first two episodes and overall I liked what I saw. I liked how they made the characters layered with actual personalities instead of a whole "Bad is Good" mindset you would expect characters in Hell to be like. So far I like Loona and Octavia the most. Yet for some reason the show made me physically uncomfortable. I am not sure how to describe it, but it could be their designs or the theme? What I mean by uncomfortable is my chest gets heavy, I get hot, I have trouble breathing, and I feel overwhelmed. This has happened to me before and for various reasons. For example when I heard the Eel's song in the film Padak I felt uncomfortable, and couldn't even fully watch the Nostalgia Critic's review of the Live Actions cats. I think it was the digitized faces on the actors or something.
Overall I think I can get over it to watch the rest, and it will probably give me something to talk about with my friends.

Things are looking up
Posted 3 years agoI got a text from my Aunt, she seems to be in high spirits so that's good. I also watched the first episode of Hellavaboss. I liked what I saw, though I did have a heavy feeling in my chest for some reason. Not sure why. Also I got to hear Richard Horvitz say the f word. Still for some reason watching this made me realize I am still insecure when it comes to people in committed relationships. Ficitional or not.

Just to reassure everyone
Posted 3 years agoI am not giving up or anything. I had a complaint at work and my co-workers listened to me. That actually took a great deal of stress off of me. I just wanted to leave something positive here.
Makes me wonder

Experiment 628: A concept
Posted 3 years agoI know those of us who have seen Lilo and Stitch the Series, recall the episode "627" where Jumba creates the aforementioned experiment. And we all recall how at the end we see Jumba locking away another experiment pod: 628. Now one of the show's creators have said this was a joke apparently, but that hasn't stopped people from expanding upon 628, and that includes me. Now a lot of people have given 628 various powers, but frankly I think that seeing as they were to proceed 627, they would have the same powers as him as well as Stitch and Reuban.
Now onto the info.
First off 628 is female, and as I mentioned, she was designed to be a weapon of mass destruction like her fellow three experiments. However, I imagine Jumba wouldn't crank up the evil like he did with 627, instead when we see her, she comes off as very unimposing and docile. Like Reuban she speaks perfect English and as stated upon first meeting her, she seems very friendly and curious. Overly so in the latter. She wouldn't just examine an item, she would take it apart, put it back together, then maybe do so several more times. At first glance she comes off as a very eager child and doesn't seem to have considered the concept of personal space, but that's only because she is simply unaware of it. If explained to her she would understand but have an occasional slip up in regard to it.
However, her friendly nature belies something sinister, and relates to her designed purpose. you see under certain circumstances, a flip goes off in her head and she transforms. In this state, she gains a more ferocious appearance and wants only one thing: to destroy. At this point we can see the genius of her design. She has all the powers of 625 626, and presumably 627, but instead of having the evil turned on all the time, something sets it off. Basically her friendly appearance and personality allows her to sneak into areas without tipping anyone off, then when the right conditions are fulfilled, pure on destruction. In fact, her curious nature is part of her programming as she is essentially soaking everything in and learning what makes everything works. That way when she is causing destruction, she knows exactly how to make something break the right way.
Now don't get me wrong, she is honestly friendly, it's just she has this other side to her that can set off and do what she was intended to do. Usually she has no memory of whatever she does in her evil mode. I'm not sure what causes her to switch over, but it could probably be as simple as a sneeze, sort of like Launch from Dragonball.
Now I should mention she ends up becoming a love interest for Reuben, and I imagine her one true place is serving alongside him with Gantu. Reuban becomes Gantu's Galley Officer, so I could see her having a position similar to it. Or at least she serves as Gantu's administrative assistant?
On the subject of her name, I initially was going to call her "Didi", but I was thinking perhaps it could relate to her love of a certain kind of food. And that food is ice cream. Her love for it is as large as Reuban's love of sandwiches which makes them a perfect match. So perhaps her name could be something related to it? Whatever I decide, I want it to fit.
Now I will probably come up with fan kids for them, and maybe Stitch and Angel as well, but time will tell.
