Hope you're all doing well and have had a nice start to your new year!

I was wondering, how do you feel about traditional sketch work being posted on FA - do you like seeing it or do you prefer to see and favourite the finished article? Especially if it's digital.

Currently, I only post my traditional sketches, ideas and doodles on Instagram, but would you like to see them here? I know some of you might not use or even like Instagram and I don't want anyone to miss out on what I'm posting, as currently, I'm not doing much of that here! (Sadly my iPad is dead and I'm awaiting a new drawing tablet)

If there is a call for it then I will happily oblige, and the likelihood is that they'll be in my scraps folder rather than my main one, just to keep them separate.

There are only going to be a small number of slots on each opening as I'm currently working on a project/ collaboration with a kemono fursuit maker which means my time will be limited to outside work.

Between these dates, there will be character design adopt auctions and hopefully some YCH openings, which will mainly cater for CS Sushlings.

Enamel pin designs are also back in the works ;)

If you hadn't guessed from the title I am officially back to using FurAffinity.....albeit a little reluctantly.

Although my personal feelings and principles are strong to not want to use this site again, I do feel guilty that I am not offering commissions and trades via my FA page and people are probably missing out if they don't follow me on my other platforms; Twitter especially, where I am my most active. So I've made the decision to come back, offer commission openings and start posting again as much as I am able too, of my most recent works; we do, after all, have all the time in the world currently due to the pandemic, and when your job isn't essential, that time is definitely endless.

Since I am unable to do both of my jobs during the pandemic, I've been investing in an exciting project, as well as taking on a lot more commissions and trades as I am feeling ever more confident and refined with my style. If you have been eager to ask for a commission, and do not use platforms such as Twitter or Instagram, please leave me a comment below - I'd like to see whose interested. I will be reorganising my price sheet once more (which is usually on my Trello link) but using my new Linktree app (Check my Profile), where you will also find recent examples by looking on my Trello Page. There, you will be able to browse a healthy selection of both traditional and digital commission options, and I will hopefully be taking commissions once every month for the foreseeable. Once we are back to normal, my schedule will, of course, change and limited openings will be available.

I just wanted to make a quick journal in regards to my newly updated and story based tumblr about my Fursona and Main Character, Kaoru Tsujimura. I would really appreciate it if you were able to go and have look and see what you think - even a follow if you think it is something you would like to see more often and be a part of. I just want to apologise that I haven't been keeping up with my uploads recently.

I'm going into a new way of working, an easy and less stressful way of taking commissions which results in quick turn overs. I am currently within a new job and I'm started to plan out my time affectively since the job I have now doesn't require me to work every single day (awesome right). That means I am taking one slot at a time for each kind of commission I offer and depending on how quick these are finished, I will open the same slot again. Examples can be given. Some may not have examples at this time but I can show similar work for you. You may ask for other options if you have something in mind. Price will vary on complexity. So I'm still working on my character profiling. Kaoru's is very rough as you might have seen and very blunt - I'm working on softening the edges to convey a much more representational description that will help with my storyline and of course how others interact with her via Roleplay or just for information purposes. Not a lot is known about Kaoru and her past for good reason as she abandoned her way of life quite abruptly so I thought that was a good way to go about it by not going into detail but perhaps I was wrong - we need to know why and who she was even if it isn't something related to in much detail within her story. It's a lot harder when she is also something you consider as a fursona as well so it starts to become rather canon / non-canon in areas.

The same goes for my other characters, especially Ren who I'm still currently working on as we speak since his character development remains totally in my head. It's been such a long time since I did such extensive study and development with characters - last time I had this much work written wise was when I was 14-17 writing out multi para Rp and developing a multi universe story setting. I just feel so stiff and I'm only 23 years old.

I'd love any advice at all. Even just a nice chat or comment about this blog or my characters.

Hey guys!

Hows things?

Despite being ill for the past couple of days, work life has gotten a little easier for me. I've noticed a vast improvement in my motivation to draw and enjoy myself, especially when practicing digital sketching in prep for my digital sketch clients. Personal art has really gone on the up and development on my characters is truly happening. I can feel it! Commissions are looking good and slowly but surely are being completed.

I'm really excited to be mapping out what I want from my characters, where I want them to go; this sudden spark of inspiration has really sent me on a journey of ideas these past few weeks.

On another subject, My guild Dont Touch That Cactus, has finally conquered 13/13 Mythic. Archimonde is finally down! ...Does this mean I might have more time now? lol no prepatch you muppet. Get grinding. I want that sweet sweet Demon hunter prowess. To add to that I'm finally purchasing Overwatch for myself and my partner because I decided what the heck, I'll find time for it eventually in my busy lifestyle; I mean pokemon GO has weaselled its way in so It can't be that much of a tight schedule.

So I really want some advice. I hope you don't mind if you could spare a few minutes...


For the longest time I've been thinking of a way that I can start to be able to write my stories, my creative writing and scripts that go alongside my characters. Being a role player in the past and amateur creative story writer, I've finally decided I'd like to get into more writing than drawing when it comes to putting my thoughts down on paper.

Every time I imagine something and want to draw it, it looks dreadful and completely unlike what I see in my head. I've had all of these backstories, comic and manga ideas all stored away and with only a select few who know a glimpse of the vast imagination I have poured into these stories, characters and concepts. The biggest issues is, my drawings put me off and my brain throws a fit and leaves. AKA art block. Writing can be moulded and manipulated and with the power of the keyboard over pen, you can make plenty of mistake and just cut and edit as you please much like digital art.....but probably 9000 quicker. I'm just not there with my art. AT ALL. You can be as complimentary as you want and I appreciate it IMMENSELY. But I hate my work. I actually have trouble having confidence that I'm consistently improving; its as if I want instant results and i feel others get there faster - Very envious! I'm also always afraid of stepping into new realms of drawing and feel that I'm somehow a criminal, changing from style to style until I'm happy. I feel like trash. Is this wrong? I don't know. Comfort me with some rationality and logic, I'm lacking a lot of that.

I'm looking for somewhere private, somewhere I can write and share my stories. I'm also interested in what you might label fan fiction but fan fiction and writing of my OWN characters and not of any others. Perhaps maybe one day with already existing characters? but I'm not completely into that. I just want to be able to show my creative writing talents and see what people think, it'll really help me improve and mould my story into scripts that will help me map out my drawings. I can then put drawing to words once i feel my art has reached where I want it to be for the style of my manga/comics. I get hit with Art block all the time and I think writing is probably my earlier comfort zone where I felt I wasn't pressuring myself to make something perfect. Writing felt more natural and it allowed my imagination to flow at a nice pace with no pressure, it wasn't and hasn't left my mind. I have about 64gb of data in my brain about the characters >>; I AM A LIVING HARDDRIVE.

I really think it will help me unwind, I'm clearly not happy with my art and where it is at at the moment and I need a way of relaxing into something that to me, doesn't require all that much effort; the script, the ideas, the thoughts, they are all there and ready to go. All I need is an outlet.

If you can, anyone whose into this sort of thing, is there anywhere like...a site or forum of some kind, an archive of sorts that can allow you to story write, save it privately or when you are ready, publish it to the public.

Oh, and I apologise. I not long ago got home from work, I'm totally shattered and brain farting all of this and most of it might not even make sense. If there is any grammar problems, spelling mistakes or general garble you don't understand or need translating, please go ahead and let me know <3

I've come to talk with you again...

It wasn't too much of a shock, it seems this would happen to us eventually especially if it was some kind of malicious intent. It is a shame we lost pretty much 6 days worth of data, permissions and submissions. Luckily I only had lost one submission but the submission itself had a lot of heartfelt description, I suppose I'm thankful I make back ups and of course have other mediums where those lost submissions are posted. I imagine we pretty much rely on FA these days and this teaches us the heavy price of that dependance. Hopefully within the next few days we will see some improvements but for now this has put quite the spanner in the works.

In the grand scheme of things, the good news is I'm now fully employed and have a contract with my local council. It's fantastic money and I'm so pleased I can begin to truly work hard so that I can start paying off my suit. I'm even going to have a missmonster mask to wear at meets and of course as a part of my suit until the resin blank is made to fit over her fursuit face. Mercury has kindly allowed me to purchase this Kitsune mask blank, and I am excited to get a hold of it and start work on it. Commissions are starting to fit snuggly around my working hours and they seem to be increasing in turn over as I complete more and more of my little queue. It's nice to have all the support I'm getting, especially from artists far exceeding my skills! (Oh senpai, how you excite me).

In light of the fursuit build, my 2016 reference is under way, which is being designed by the amazingly wonderful Kerotzuki who will be completing me a full back and front reference along with a feral form and changing mask form to go with it. I'm pretty excited to keep adding to it now that I have saved the funds to do so. I don't have a lot of time to create my own reference so it's nice to see someone do her justice in my absence. Hopefully, I will start to pad out some loose ideas of her other forms and how she looks with a few tails going on, I'll keep you posted~

I have decided to sort of change my mind and except three more bust commissions once I've finished this batch. I haven't really had the inspiration to draw my own stuff of late due to some pretty awful stuff happening which has totally put me off. I'll have the slots out sometime in the next two weeks but the first slot will be going out on twitter so keep an eye out~

I'm not doing any conventions this year I'm afraid, seems I've had a few ask me whether or not I will be attending Confuzzled, EF, MWFF and the likes and I simply cannot stretch my funds to do so. This year is fully centred on obtaining my suit and thus I will be attending no gatherings this year other than the occasional mini meet at Manchester. Next year however is a different story, the plan will hopefully be to attend CFz and not only Suit up, but also deal in the dealers den alongside my ever so loving friend and surrogate fandom mother, Lapres. I've finally worked up the courage to start dealing and so I'm sorta looking forward to it.....sweats nervously.

Other conventions I'd like to attend are definitely either Nordic Fuzz Con in Sweden, (Since like...a load of my Guildies are there too and I want to meet them for reals) and Eurofurence. The Conventions of my dreams will be MWFF in Chicago, Illinois, and JMoF/KemoCon in Japan since Kaoru will be a kemono suit in style. Maybe if all goes well I can try and think about MWFF next year and perhaps give it a little longer for Conventions in Japan, I want to be at a pretty decent standard of speaking the language, fluent if possible.
