Posted 9 years ago Is everyone who entered before the site went down! It is unfair to tally comments now with the booboo of what happened. I will be making art for everyone who has their name on that journal. However! It will be posted on FurryNetwork and Weasyl when finished. With the lack of security on this website I have decided to move to those sites indefinitely for now.
If somehow FurAffinity gets back on their feet with better security and a more thought out protocol for hacking backlash, I will come back. I hope that I can see you on either Weasyl or FurryNetwork!
I will still keep everything on FA, and maybe upload one or two things here and there to this site, but this is not going to be my most updated or main account anymore. I will respond to any comments, notes or what have you as quick as possible, thank-you all for your time and patronage.

Posted 9 years ago Hello everyone! I am writing this journal to keep you abreast of my plans for this account. First of all, yes I am going to keep using FA. Hopefully it will get better coding and something like this will not happen again.
However, I am going to be using Furry Network and Weasyl more, incase something of this nature should happen again I will not lose out on days of uploads since FA had most of my art here and I am slowly updated the other two. You can find me on Furry Network at: https://beta.furrynetwork.com/supernova/ and Weasyl at: https://www.weasyl.com/~supernova I am adding small chunks of old art until they are both fully updated so sorry for the slight burst of reposts you will see should you so choose to follow me there.
FA might be my most up-to-date site still, but Furry Network is starting to look a lot more pleasing as the beta progresses. We will see, FA is my main source of income for art sales so it will be a pain to bring up my fan bases elsewhere especially if my watchers here don't use anything other than this site. I hope that everything gets smoothed out with the coding and that this situation stops happening because dang.

Watcher Appreciation Month! (Free Art)
Posted 9 years agoJune is my Watcher Appreciation Month! You do not have to be a watcher to enter! I will be offering free art all month to those that comment on this journal!
The rules are simple all you have to do is:
1. Comment your favourite colour to enter! You will not be entered until I comment either "Even" or "Odd" on your comment, this allows me to organize and better produce the art for all and any who comment!
2. Link an image to your sona - does not have to be a reference.
3. Stay Alert for when I post your art! I would hate to have your piece go missing in your submissions should you forget.
The art offered for the first ever Watcher Appreciation Month will be small flat colour sketches! Everyone who comments their favourite colour will get a drawing of their fursona, it is that simple. Posted 9 years ago So as all of you might have seen, I have been posting pictures of closed boxes for the past two hours. This is for my new patreon page which I have created, to offer all of you a monthly subscription of art! There are seven tiers available for subscribing to, though the higher you go the more you get and the better your chances are of getting more exclusive things! No matter what you subscribe to you will get something if not many things as well as my gratitude!

Posted 9 years agoAfter some thinking, and some budgeting to pay off bills as well as my mate being off work for so gosh darn long I am going to be offering Art Slave commission slots. Any and all would help us bounce back wonderfully! These commissions are exclusively in CAD, where my other commission prices are in USD. These slots are limited to a max of 5 per tier.
All payments must be through Paypal, with a minimum payment of 25% of your tier immediately after receiving a note from myself. Payment plans are allowed, however all pieces marked with ☼ will be worked on when full payment is received. Flight Rising Commissions

Stream on Friday
Posted 9 years agoHey everyone so I am streaming on Friday! I will be working on a mother's day gift for my mum, telegram stickers and any commissions that you guys happen to give me. This will be another pwyw stream with the minimum of $5. If you are commissioning telegram stickers remember that when you buy four the fifth is free!
The stream will start at nine am(9am) PST If you need help with time zones I have included a countdown here: http://goo.gl/hpp8LG his will count down to when the stream starts! Don't worry if you work at some point in the day, the stream will be going on all day, as well as of May 3rd, so yesterday I suppose, picarto can be streamed on mobile devices! Yay!

Posted 9 years ago So I have a bunch of unclaimed YChs that are just sitting in my gallery. And frankly my style has surpassed some if not most of the old ones that are there. I would really also like them gone, so that I can post new ones but have finished ychs laying around instead of just deleting those. So I am doing a bit of a clean-up and reducing the prices significantly in an attempt to get them out. Kind of like a clearance sale in a way, these have got to go haha.
I have divided them into two categories, more so by price than anything else. But you will notice the oldest ones are in the lower price bracket. I used one of my ychs as a template for a drawing I did previously, but I don't have characters or inspiration for the rest of them. I will be posting the links to the 'art dumps' I suppose you could call them in this journal, but I would appreciate any bidding to happen on the post themselves. I will be making appropriate sections in the comments for them as well.
The ychs are split up by price and the bidding starts at either $5 or $3 respectively. Since I want these gone so badly I will drop the dollar down to my native CAD which makes it more affordable for just about anyone in the whole world. Bidding will end 2hrs after the last comment given.

Posted 9 years agoSo I am holding a Kiriban for my page views and my submission views as a nifty little contest for people to win free art. This will not affect your winning of my Monthly draws, this is an entirely different 'contest' to enter! I know most kiribans can get insane, but I am hoping that this one works out accordingly to the rules that I will set out. They are going to be pretty simple and hopefully everyone will follow them! The Page Views and Submission Kiribans will be separate and I will have different journals to announce the winners for those! So keep your eyes out for those journals! Posted 9 years agoI love painting scenery! Backgrounds of forests, beaches etc are super calming to me and it is something that I do while I am stuck on art commissions. I also know that a lot of people hate making them, or find them to be really tasking and so they opt out for more simpler backgrounds or charge more for the background to be more intense.
So, I was thinking of offering up "Scenery Packs" i.e forests, beaches, cities, inside of buildings etc. That people can use for whatever they want. Yes, even for commissions! You can make money off of them/use them for this. All I would ask is that you credit me for the background and link back to the original/my page.
They would be about $25usd for 5 different images in high resolution with shading on the background. It would be a .PSD file so you could change around the shading and time of day etc. etc.

Posted 9 years agoOh gosh was it a blast, I had so much fun hanging out with the friends I haven't seen all year and meeting new awesome fuzzies. I did a lot of new things this year that I didn't think that I would do for a really long time. I had my own artist alley table for one, which was a big step for me, since I planned to do it a few years in advance of this con. Seeing the reaction to my art, and having people commission me was a big eye-opener to how "good" I should perceive it. It gave me a huge confidence boost when it comes to what I do, so thank-you!
I also definitely want to volunteer next year, not only is it space themed (like my favourite thing ever), but I want to give back or help the amazing people that made some of the things that happened at this con possible! Mainly all of the helpful people who assisted me while I was at my table, or overheating in suit, or even just trying to dance my part in the competition (Popsicle and I were forgotten whoops)!
I don't have a lot of bad things to say about this convention, there wasn't anything really that the actual convention did to make me upset. It was all stuff that was out of their hands, a few rude people and the layout of the hotel with how the hot-tub and pool are split. Other than that it was a splendid experience and I am so jazzed to get back there and do it all over again!
To everyone who commissioned me: I am working hard to finish your pieces, jumping right back into real life and cramming your art in wherever it fits haha. I will be posting things here, so if you are watching me look for your face! I will also, be sending them to you via the means of communication that you gave me. About Themed Streams and Regular Streams

So I am going to be starting a new monthly thing that I am really excited about. Once a month I will do a themed stream as a thank-you and give back to my watchers. All of the themed streams will be free on a first come first serve basis. I am going to post advertisements five days before the stream date and then a reminder before the stream day. Each advertisement will have the date and time that the stream will start as well as the theme that the stream is following. There will be specific rules for each stream so be sure to read the description of each advertisement when they come out! All streams will happen on Picarto since I have found that streaming service to have the most ease of access for myself.
There are rules that cover my streams in an umbrella format:
1. Do not spam me with references, when I ask for references I will collect them as they come. One submission is enough.
2. I will not change the theme, position, or rating of any characters or streams to fit your needs. They are "what you see what you get" streams.
3. Stream chat is SFW before 10pm PST. Anything after 10pm is considered "After Dark" and course language is allowed. Be advised I will alert viewers to the "After Dark" time frame.
4. No minors allowed in "Drunk Streams" as they will be specifically NSFW.
5. Respect myself and those who I choose to mod my streams, they are there to help me as much as you.
6. "Close friends" do not have priority on streams, everything is randomized, nor do they get 'free' art/special treatment. However, those who frequent my streams the most may get extra 'thank-you' gifts. Think of it like a frequent flyer.
