Something Terrible Happened...
Posted 12 years agoMy old Jr. High principal has a daughter. (I will not be naming names, just to respect privacy).
She had severe severe mental disability, and was prone to angry outbursts. Almost always against her mother. In fact, she had managed to send her mother to the hospital at least twice. They finally decided, enough was enough, let's get our daughter into some therapy.
The therapy was working very, very well, so ALL they needed to do was continue therapy via the middle school, which the girl attended.
The woman who essentially ran the special needs classes flat out crossed her arms and convinced the school board to bar the daughter from any classes at that school, simply because she didn't like the fact that the mother of this girl was arguing with her about how to teach.
Yesterday... The mother and her daughter were found in a car with two charcoal grills burning, filling the car with smoke. The mother attempted to kill herself and her daughter.
They are both in a hospital in my home state, not too far from my current town.
The mother is in good condition. She is arrested and is going to be charged for attempted murder. The daughter, doctors fear, is going to have permanent brain damage. On top of EVERYTHING ELSE she has going on.
So instead of things being difficult but persevering as a family... This woman's two other daughters are going to be without their mom for a very, very long time.
And what of the husband? God knows what he's going through now. And of the woman who denied the girl rights to classes at that school? God knows if she has any guilt over the situation or not.
So... Now, we just sit, and wait, to see what happens.

I have no fur, no natural shielding.
But I can help you if you're down.
I have no sharp claws to cut with.
But I will always find a way to get you what you need.
I don't have sharp teeth.
But I have a sharp wit.
I may not have a fancy, multi-colored penis.
But I can still make you feel good if you want.
I may not whimper, howl, churr, bark, growl, or hum.
But I still have feelings, damnit, and they can be broken.
And today, they've been broken hard-core. 8:55pm marked the 10th person since I've come out of my shell who labeled me as boring, useless, a boner-killer, and decided to stop talking to me, all because I was a human.
And let me tell you... If the furry population as a whole is trying to push harder for the hyumans to accept your lifestyle, then you need to start beating the TAR out of people who persecute against the humans.
Just... Saying.

I had an FA user add me to Skype. He and I talked for a little while, and as it turned out, he added me because I was a white tiger.
FINE! Except I'm NOT! I'm a HUMAN!
Well, he didn't like that, and he said that I was common and boring, not exciting, and a complete buzz kill basically. Then deleted me.
Can someone explain to me.... how on EARTH can furries expect human to be kind, of furries are going to look at a human, go "eww, you're boring" and refuse to talk to them?
I'm a human... That's all there is to it. I'm a human, and I'm not going to break out a species just for your boner, okay?
