Posted 7 years agoHey guys! I'm trying to be more active here but school is a big bummer! It's my art education finals weeks and have a large final project due tomorrow!
It's a professional job packet that we would potentially use to get jobs one day! YIKES
Anyway, I'm still doodling in my free time/when I procrastinate and currently working on TWO commissions, and a Promo image for my Ko-Fi account!
I would really like to be active in the month of may and carry it through the summer.
I might try and get a retail/cashier job if I do not get a lot of traffic in commissions.
I also wanted to see if y'all have any advice for how to get more awareness to generate for a page? I think a lot of my followers either do not know I am back? or just do not seem interested ;u;
I would really like to hit 300 followers and do like a raffle or something?? or even do a big monthly one. IDK. But I want to do lots for you guys this summer and hope to have this be my main priority. I wont have summer school and ACTUALLY HAVE THE SUMMER OFF. I'm super excited. If you have any ideas please let me know!!

Posted 7 years agoWent out for two different friends birthdays tonight at two different bar areas where I live and parked in a church parking lot for the second one that isn't far from the bars (a lot of people park here)
Apparently there's new rules set in place about the church wanting a clear parking lot on Sunday's for their congregation. So at MIDNIGHT they start towing.
My friends when doing the bar crawls never usually stay out past midnight anyway (we old ladies after all) and are home and in bed by 11:30.
WELL tonight I leave the pizza place we were at and come up on this parking lot to see MY CAR NOT IN THE SPOT I LEFT IT.
There are three tow trucks on lot. One with no car about to load up, another pulling out with a car, and a third with a car chillin but not moving.
The one not moving KINDA LOOKS LIKE MINE.
SO YOUR GIRL WHO FAT AS HELL AND DONT WORK OUT RAN TO THIS STOPPED CAR KEYS IN HAND PUSHING UNLOCK.
THIS CAR MINE.
BITCH I HOPPED IN MY CAR.
LEGALLY THEY CANT TOW ME IF IM IN MY DAMN CAR.

Posted 7 years agoHey everyone I know I've been away this week but it's been a doozy at school!!
My sister in law gave birth yesterday and now I have a new precious niece!
I've finished 5 papers, three presentations, and a script in French in three days and averaged about 6 hours of sleep in 72 hours. Hahahahahaha that's college I guess.
I blew up at my mother and cried a lot at her but ended up getting some new buttons ups that make me feel hella gay and I love them.
I got A LOT of rest last night and finally really to work on commissions and relieve some of my stress. I guess I'll stream them to keep me on track so feel free to check in, in about an hour and "join.me"

Posted 7 years agoHey guys! As most of you know I'm still in school and will graduate by the end of this year! Well it's closing in on the last weeks of the semester and this week is HITTING ME EVERYWHERE. I've already written two papers, a script and delivered three presentations. I still have to write another two papers (8 total pages) by tomorrow and another two papers due on 4/30. So I'm going to try my best not to get distracted by FA today that way after class tomorrow I can focus on drawing 😭😭 I've got a new ref sheet in the works and two prompt commissions to do! Hoping to get those done by the end of the week (if I somehow can't work on them as much as I'd like to in the next couple days.)

Posted 7 years agoHey guys! Just wanted to check in with everyone. I've had a busy busy week with school and have to go into a highschool today for my observation hours. It isn't too bad but they can be cruel creatures those teens.
I'm still working on a new reference sheet for Molly and I'm pretty proud so far 😍
Today is my friends bday though so if I have time I'll work on it for an hour or two. Then I have a meeting for my organization. It's time for us to host officer elections for next semester so it'll be another interesting week. Posted 7 years agoHey everyone! Thanks so much to those who have been keeping up with me coming back and doing art again after this hiatus. I have been thinking about this for about a week now but I would like to open up some experimental commissions for me.
I've never really done them like this before but I will have two lists of five themes/topics/scenes. One will be SFW the other will be NSFW.
My idea is that each spot is a flat rate of $20 and to add a character it's an additional $10. These will all be full bodied and have flat colors.
I'm wanting these to be more of quick exercise drawings than full blown commissions.
I have a few ideas for each list but not a solid 5 yet. If you have basic image themes you think would fit into these categories I would love to hear your suggestions!! Feel free to post them and if I get some I like ill post an official commission page for them in a few hours! I'm done with class for the week and would like to get drawing here soon!!

Sorry it's been a couple days
Posted 7 years agoHey guys! Thought I should update you again on my past week. I've been drawing and have some things wip on my laptop that I haven't gotten fully finished yet.
But.
I've also lost two great family members in the past two weeks so I've been to a funeral all day. I'll hop back into the flow tomorrow hopefully :)
I'm okay so no worries. I lost my great grandfather and great uncle both on my moms side so she's a little shaken lately. But we are all good!
Thanks again cuties! Have a nice holiday weekend!

I've also lost two great family members in the past two weeks so I've been to a funeral all day. I'll hop back into the flow tomorrow hopefully :)

Priorities i guess lololol (I also dont need the class i skipped for my degree)
But i just want to convey that im really happy that im drawing again. i know its not happening every day and im slowly building up and picking up where i left off.

Move out plus art update

Just keeping everyone updated that I have moved it of my apartment and Ito my moms house for the summer. Haven't heard from any of my roommates since.
I can't wait to live alone and take the steps towards a better healthier me. Mentally and physically
After packing and unpacking all of my things I have found out that I no longer have any way to attach my tablet to my computer. The usb has dissapeared and I don't have wireless connectors. So until I get those or a new tablet all together I won't be able to do anything :/
I'm sorry.
I've looked through everything. And I won't be working until July so if I need to buy a new one or parts I'm not able to yet.
I'll still check in if anyone cares.

I found a place to live!!
Posted 8 years agoPhew. So if you have been following my recent journals I have been having trouble with my roommates and was finding an alternative place to live for the following school year.
After a couple weeks of my mom and I looking around we finally settled on one!
Rent will pretty much double and I have to buy furniture for the place (my current apartment came pre furnished)
BUT its super nice looking and my mom feels at ease with me living there which was her main concern.
I'm looking into getting my cat certified to be an emotional support animal cause even though I like to admit I'm 100% A-OK im beginning to realize that im not and i carry way too much stress and anxiety constantly and didnt even notice the relation between me and my cat and how i go to her for support and relief.
Shes super lovey and cuddly which helps me out a lot.
ENOUGH RAMBLING ABOUT MY CAT

So i guess since school is out and i have the next couple of days until i have to be at a wedding i am going to try and figure out how to connect my tablet. I can either dig through boxes and find the connecting wire or figure out how to wirelessly do it?

Things are happening
Posted 8 years agoJust an update on what is happening in my life!
I'm almost done with school for the semester and have a couple of weeks that will be spent making cosplays for Akon this year at my moms.
BUT THE BIG NEWS IS THAT IM MOVING???????
At least that's the plan I'm going for. In as short of terms as I go can get without going into much detail my roommates don't like living with me and have kind of made it an emotional and psychological hell for me to live with them.
So I'm currently looking for studio apartments near the university that I can move into alone. They're also moving out but I don't want to risk living with three new strangers that also won't like me /shrugs.
And because I don't have a regular 9-5 job I'll be relying heavily on commissions and art stuff this summer to help out with a higher rent situation.

I'm almost done with school for the semester and have a couple of weeks that will be spent making cosplays for Akon this year at my moms.
BUT THE BIG NEWS IS THAT IM MOVING???????
At least that's the plan I'm going for. In as short of terms as I go can get without going into much detail my roommates don't like living with me and have kind of made it an emotional and psychological hell for me to live with them.
So I'm currently looking for studio apartments near the university that I can move into alone. They're also moving out but I don't want to risk living with three new strangers that also won't like me /shrugs.
And because I don't have a regular 9-5 job I'll be relying heavily on commissions and art stuff this summer to help out with a higher rent situation.

So I know during school times I'm flaky as shit but guess who needs to pay for summer rent and isnt getting financial aid????
Thats right its me AGAIN
So my semester is officially over like May 16th or some crap and I am done with studios so far in college i think????
Which leaves two reading based classes over the summer and lots of untapped drawing potential

Posted 8 years agoSooo i guess im going to take requests... keep in mind that these will be hand drawn and not probably posted (only if they're good) I would like scenes or poses mixed with characters (be it games, tv shows etc.) more or less already cartoon things. but hey real life shows work too.
Can be scenes between more than one person or multiple people.

I know probably one person will read this so for that one person Hey how's it going? Sorry I have kinda been gone forever but you know... college and stuff keeps me pretty busy.
So for you lucky 1-2 people Im just going to talk about all the shit ive been doing!
cause why the fuck not.
So I am now in my spring semester of my junior year in college. I am currently enrolled in two advanced art histories (topics in asian and medieval ritual), one advanced studio course (wheel throwing; ceramics), Foundations (this gets me from being a pre major to actually being an art education major), and Practices in Teaching which gets me into the college of education and teaches me the history of teaching.
SO! I am super overwhelmed and will be spending a lot of my time either in class, "playing" with clay, or reading and typing quite a lot for my classes.
Last semester I was in two studio classes, sculpture 1 and printmaking, which also kept me very busy and i had lots of 48 hour days with no sleep cause you know...... college. So im just over here trying to prepare myself to become a future art teacher and imoact the lives of our future. NBD or anything
I'm going to try and doodle when i can and they will probably all be shit since its been forever since ive actually gotten to do things i want. soooooo probably still wont upload any art cause ill think its all terrible and i wont be streaming anytime soon cause my public apartment internet sucks ass.
Other than that i just wanted to say i check in often and even though i am not uploading art it doesnt mean I wont check in from time to time and answer things or notes if you send them. I just literally do not have the time to sit down and do the art i used to or want to. hopefully yall can understand

Posted 9 years agoJust curious cause I'm wanting to breed when I move into my apartment on August 23. I have a lovely pair and was wondering if anyone from here would be interested in buying the babies (some) when they get old enough.
I do most of my Betta stuff on Instagram if you'd rather look at them there. No babies yet cause I don't want to deal with transporting fry for over an hour when they're very delicate and sensitive.
